如图1所示，一种实用挂式单杠，包括单杠横杆1，单杠横杆1上通过弹簧4安装一对挂钩3，单杠横杆1上还安装有计时器2。
使用时，将挂钩3挂在门框或树枝上，站在单杠横杆1下面，利用人体肌肉力量用力向下拉单杠横杆1，让弹簧4伸张，使全身肌肉力量加强，弹簧4伸张越长，肌肉力量通过弹簧4伸张往返上下交替运动来锻炼，从而达到增强身体的目的。在锻炼过程中可以打开计时器2，方便随时掌握时间。
弹簧4可随人体肌肉力量大小设置，上下移动速度和运动量自由掌握，长期锻炼可增强全身肌肉力量，提高身体素质。
