In order to protect the safe transportation of export trade goods, the goods are often packaged by wood materials. In order to prevent wood packaging materials from spreading forest diseases and insect pests in the transportation process, inspection and quarantine agencies of various countries in the world stipulate that: before the goods are imported and exported into other countries, the wood packaging materials of the imported and exported goods need to be subjected to permanent insect-resistant immune treatment, and the export inspection and quarantine organization provides a plant quarantine certificate and a mark of 'treated in a certain country' on the wood packaging materials to enter and exit together with the goods. The wood insect-proof antiseptic immune treatment method mainly comprises the following steps: fumigating with medicine or steaming (such as fumigating with methyl bromide for killing insect pest), chemical soaking (such as soaking wood with copper chromate arsenate antiseptic solution for killing insect pest and sterilizing), heating and oven drying for heat treatment, etc. The disadvantages of the drug fumigation and chemical immersion treatment are that certain pollution exists to the environment; the wood after chemical impregnation treatment has high humidity and needs to consume more energy when being dried. At present, more and more enterprises in China are willing to adopt a heat treatment method to treat the wood packaging material, and the heat treatment method can kill pests, ova and bacteria in the wood together and has no pollution to the environment.
There are generally certain requirements for heat treatment of wood: the wood must be dried to a predetermined degree, for example, the moisture content of the wood is between 8-15%, and the wood is not cracked, deformed or shrivelled. The requirements for heat treatment of wood packaging materials are as follows: the wooden packaging material is required to completely kill pests (including pine wood nematodes) and other pests in the wood after heat treatment, and the wooden packaging material is not cracked or excessively deformed when being taken out of a kiln, but is allowed to be slightly distorted, so that the original use function of the wooden packaging material is not affected.
Therefore, the key of the control of the heating treatment of the wood is the technical control and monitoring means of how to make the center of the wood reach the required temperature, how to determine the center temperature of the wood and keep the required center temperature for the specified duration, and secondly, on the premise of meeting the purpose of removing the harmful substances, the wooden package is not excessively wet or excessively dry as much as possible in the heat treatment damage removing process so as to prevent cracking or excessive deformation, meet the original use function, shorten the drying time and improve the efficacy.
