Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,包括具有基面的绝缘本体和组装于绝缘本体的若干导电端子,所述绝缘本体自基面向外凸伸有供收容孔干涉配合的定位柱,所述定位柱呈封闭圆环状,所述定位柱自由末端的圆环截面大于定位柱根部的圆环截面。所述定位柱的封闭圆环状设置,可以将定位柱受到的力分散到柱体的其他部分,及向柱体中部的空心区域变形,保证结构强度和变形空间;此外,定位柱自由末端的圆环截面大于定位柱根部的圆环截面,可以在与收容孔配合后,实现良好的固持性能。

【技术领域】
本实用新型关于一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种具有定位柱的电连接器。
【背景技术】
定位柱在许多安装上板或者需要扣合的电连接器中经常有应用,请参阅中国专利公告第CN2428805Y号揭示的一种习知的圆柱状定位柱,该电连接器定位柱设置于所述绝缘本体底面上,纵截面方向对称挖有矩形槽以形成两扣臂。此种卡扣装置利用塑料自身的弹性安装并卡扣至电路板。
然而,由于为分开的两扣臂悬伸于电连接器外部,加上自身强度有限,在运输或安装拆卸时易受非正常外力作用而产生断裂现象。
鉴于此,实有必要提供一种改进的电连接器,以克服上述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种具有改进定位柱的电连接器,该定位柱具有较好的强度和韧性,以及良好的固持性能。
为此,本实用新型提供了一种电连接器,包括具有基面的绝缘本体和组装于绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体自基面向外凸伸有供收容孔干涉配合的定位柱,所述定位柱呈封闭圆环状,所述定位柱自由末端的圆环截面大于定位柱根部的圆环截面。
相对于现有技术,本实用新型电连接器具有以下优点:所述定位柱的封闭圆环状设置,可以将定位柱受到的力分散到柱体的其他部分,及向柱体中部的空心区域变形,保证结构强度和变形空间;此外,定位柱自由末端的圆环截面大于定位柱根部的圆环截面,可以在与收容孔配合后,实现良好的固持性能。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,本实用新型电连接器100,包括绝缘本体1和组装于绝缘本体1的若干导电端子3,所述绝缘本体1包括基盖11和顶盖13以及连接基盖11和顶盖13的枢部15。导电端子3安装于基盖11后,基盖11和顶盖13以枢部15为轴心盖合,从而将导电端子3夹设于基盖11和顶盖13之间。(为便于结构说明,后续分解示意图将基盖11和顶盖13垂直分离)
请参阅图2,所述绝缘本体1基盖11上设有基面17(即面向顶盖13的面)及自基面17垂直凸伸的封闭圆环状定位柱171,顶盖13朝向基面17一侧设置有开口(未图示)。所述定位柱171圆环状中部开设有盲孔173,盲孔173的深度小于定位柱171自基面17凸伸的整体高度,以保证根部具有一定的基础强度及自由末端的弹性。
请参阅图3并结合图2,所述顶盖13上设置有与定位柱171配合的收容孔131,收容孔131包括靠近开口的第一孔洞133和远离开口的第二孔洞135,所述第一孔洞133的直径小于第二孔洞135的直径。所述第一孔洞133在靠近开口的内侧面基面17的位置设有倒角137,定位柱171的外侧面自由末端同样设置有相互对接的倒角175。
请参阅图4,所述定位柱171为自由末端大而根部小(即L2>L1)的倒锥体结构。插入时,(1)定位柱171的倒角175与收容孔131的倒角137对准;(2)将定位柱171继续向收容孔131内插入,因第一孔洞133尺寸较小,定位柱171的自由末端因盲孔173的存在而可向内变形,使得定位柱171穿过第一孔洞133而进入到第二孔洞135,而第二孔洞135的直径较第一孔洞大133,定位柱171的自由末端可释放变形;(3)定位柱171因扩张而抵接于第二孔洞133内,完成扣合。所述尺寸较小的第一孔洞133可增加定位柱171根部与第一孔洞133的干涉力,可将基盖11和顶盖13保持在一起,而定位柱171中的盲孔173则提供了定位柱171一定的弹性和内缩空间,避免了插入过程中收容孔131与定位柱171的硬干涉。
请参阅图5并结合图4,下面介绍本实用新型的第二实施例,所述电连接器100’,可安装于电路板4’,包括绝缘本体1’和收容于绝缘本体1’的若干导电端子3’,所述绝缘本体1’具有板安装面17’及凸伸于板安装面17’设置的定位柱171’,该定位柱171’具有与第一实施例定位柱171同样的封闭圆环状倒锥结构,在安装至圆柱体电路板4’收容孔131’时,定位柱171’同样经历收缩经过收容孔131’后释放变形完成扣合的过程。
综上所述,以上仅为本实用新型的较佳实施例而已,不应以此限制本实用新型的范围,如上述实施例中的定位柱结构呈圆环状,在其他一些实施例中,也可以是其他的封闭式环状结构,此亦可达到本实用新型的目的,即凡是依本实用新型权利要求书及本实用新型说明书内容所作的简单的等效变化与修饰,皆应仍属本实用新型专利涵盖的范围内。

Claims (9)

1.一种电连接器,包括具有基面的绝缘本体和组装于绝缘本体的导电端子,所述绝缘本体自基面垂直凸伸有供收容孔干涉配合的定位柱,其特征在于:所述定位柱呈封闭环状结构,所述定位柱自由末端的环截面大于定位柱根部的环截面。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱环状中部开设有盲孔,盲孔深度小于定位柱自基面凸伸的整体高度。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱为自由末端大而根部小的倒锥体结构。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱凸伸出板安装面设置并可配合安装至电路板。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱呈封闭圆环状结构。
6.如权利要求1-3中任一项所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体包括基盖和顶盖,所述定位柱设于基盖中,所述与定位柱配合的收容孔设于顶盖上,所述电连接器通过定位柱与收容孔的配合将导电端子夹设于基盖和顶盖之间。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述收容孔包括与定位柱根部配合的第一孔洞和与定位柱自由末端配合的第二孔洞,所述第二孔洞的直径大于第一孔洞的直径。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述定位柱自由末端及收容孔最先与定位柱配合的位置设有倒角。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基盖和顶盖通过枢部实现扣合。
