吃核桃为了方便打开核桃和保护牙齿，大家都习惯用核桃夹子去打开核桃壳取出核桃仁食用，但是目前市场上出售的核桃夹子打开核桃壳时，用力太大容易把核桃夹的粉碎，用力太轻又不能全部把核桃打开，只有凭自己的感觉去用力而且很难把握。

为了解决核桃夹子打开核桃不方便的问题，本实用新型提供一种可调夹距的核桃夹子，可调夹距的核桃夹子由左、右二片夹手组成，在左夹手内侧设置个多阶梯凸起的距离挡，在右夹手对应距离挡的位置有个移动槽，在移动槽内设置个移动杆。当人们用可调夹距的核桃夹子开核桃时，可根据核桃的大、小把移动杆向上推或者下移，来调节夹核桃时的距离，用力夹核桃由于距离挡和移动杆的距离固定，再也不会把核桃夹的粉碎。
