临床上常用的外用液体药剂较多，如红花油、各种消毒药水、风油精等，外用液体药剂均封装在药剂瓶内，用瓶盖盖住，使用时，开启瓶盖，将药剂倒在患处或是倒在手掌上，然后再涂擦患处，或者用棉签蘸取药剂，然后涂擦在患处。上述方法操作比较麻烦，而且对药剂浪费严重，造成不必要的损失。

如图1所示。外用液体药剂瓶，包括瓶体1和瓶盖，所述的瓶盖包括外盖3与内盖2；所述内盖2与瓶口相连接，在内盖2的顶端面上均布有药剂流出孔5，在内盖2顶端面上部固定设置海绵垫4；所述外盖3罩在内盖1与海绵垫4的外部与瓶体1相连接。
使用时，将瓶体1倾斜或倒置，瓶体1内的药剂会通过药剂流出孔5流出浸入海绵垫4，然后用海绵垫4涂擦患处。在海绵垫4的作用下药剂不会流出过多，减少浪费，且操作简单、使用方便。
