一种鼓风式垂直轴风力发电机,包括风叶、与发电机相连的传动轴,风叶和传动轴轴向相连,其特征在于:在所述传动轴的一侧通过轴承固定连接带风向调节装置的风罩,风罩位于风叶的外部,在风罩上开有风口。
所述的风罩随风向而改变方向,位于传动轴的一侧迎风方向上,从而为利用风叶风阻力差进行工作提供了条件。

一种鼓风式垂直轴风力发电机主要由风叶1、与发电机相连的传动轴2,风叶1的中间轴和传动轴2固定连接在一起,风叶1有五个叶片,在传动轴2的一侧通过轴承传动啮齿连接带风向调节装置的风罩3构成,风罩1位于风叶1的外部,在风罩3上开有风口31,顶端安装风向标32。
如图2-5所示,风罩3上开有的风口31在不同方向的风进入时,风罩3会对进入的风进行阻挡,这样通过不同风罩3内对应方向的阻力差值使得风叶1在风罩3内旋转,驱使传动轴2旋转,带动发电机发电。
