真丝一般指蚕丝，包括桑蚕丝、柞蚕丝、蓖麻蚕丝、木薯蚕丝等。真丝有吸光的性能，看上去顺滑不起镜面，光泽幽雅柔和，呈珍珠光亮，手感柔和飘逸，丝线较密，光泽柔和，质地细腻，与皮肤相接触会让使用者备感亲切和舒适。
目前市面上尚未见到有将真丝用在护垫上的产品。
