本实用新型的技术解决方案是蓄电池的正负极两端串联车匙开关，一个按钮开关和一蜂鸣器，而按钮开关设置在手刹拉杆座上。
本实用新型的工作原理，司机在使用汽车时，插入车匙，启动发动机，同时在本实用新型的电路中处于断开状态，然后放下汽车手刹拉杆，开始使用汽车，同时汽车手刹拉杆放下时使本实用新型的按钮开关接通，然后当司机想停止使用汽车时，旋转车匙开关，停止发动机，同时也接通本实用新型的电路回路，这时如果汽车手刹拉杆没拉起时，按钮开关还处于接通状态，使蜂鸣器通电发出提醒声音，如果汽车手刹拉杆已经拉起，按钮开关处于断开状态，这时蜂鸣器得不到电源，蜂鸣器停止工作。这样就可以有效地防止司机在离开汽车时忘记拉起手刹拉杆，避免汽车停放处于危险状态。
