本发明公开了一种液晶显示器成盒工艺,其在玻璃基板片的周围涂布周边密封物,涂布该周边密封物时,先涂布一段周边密封物,间隔一段距离后在涂布另一端周边密封物。使用本发明所公开的方法,周边盒厚变得均一,液晶显示器显示效果有了很大的改善。

液晶显示器成盒工艺
技术领域
本发明涉及一种液晶显示器制造工艺,特别涉及一种液晶显示器成盒工艺。
背景技术
在液晶显示器成盒工艺中,为了便于玻璃基板从片5(Sheet)状态切割为面板4(Panel)时,除了显示区域周围的密封外(称为本密封1),在片周围要涂布密封物,称为“周边密封物2”。另外,在各个面板之间还涂布“辅助密封物3”,参考图1。
在以往的成盒工艺中,周边密封物的涂布方式采用闭环图案。闭环图案会有以下缺陷:
(1)TFT(薄膜晶体管)基板与CF(彩膜)基板在抽真空贴合后,本密封两侧玻璃基板之间的间距和设计盒厚有较大的差异;
(2)会使显示部距离本密封10mm的范围内,盒厚有较大的起伏,产生周边盒厚不均的现象。显示检查的时候,在全黑的状态下,会发现周边有一圈亮线,全白状态下,周边颜色发黄。测量结果显示,周边间隙偏大(如图2)。
发明内容
本发明的目的是克服闭环密封涂布引起周边盒厚不均一的缺陷。
本发明的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的:
一种液晶显示器成盒工艺,其在玻璃基板片的周围涂布周边密封物,涂布该周边密封物时,先涂布一段周边密封物,间隔一段距离后在涂布另一端周边密封物。
本发明的积极进步效果在于:周边盒厚变的均一,液晶显示器显示效果有了很大的改善。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图给出本发明较佳实施例,以详细说明本发明的技术方案。
一种液晶显示器成盒工艺,其在玻璃基板片5的周围涂布周边密封物6,涂布该周边密封物6时,先涂布一段周边密封物6,间隔一段距离后在涂布另一端周边密封物6。即,该周边密封物6的涂布图案为开环。
利用发明的方法制造的液晶显示器的测量数据图表如图4所示,显然,本发明的方法明显改善了现有技术中盒厚不均的缺陷。

1、一种液晶显示器成盒工艺,其在玻璃基板片的周围涂布周边密封物,其特征在于,涂布该周边密封物时,先涂布一段周边密封物,间隔一段距离后在涂布另一端周边密封物。
