Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种手持电子通信设备,包括在外壳中的用于安装电子元件并提供数个连接点的印刷电路板,以及小键盘,所述小键盘平行于所述印刷电路板伸展并且包括小键盘用户界面。
背景技术
如今这样的结构特征可以在大量的便携设备中找到,如PDA(个人数字助理),像GSM或是DECT的电话,或者甚至是个人电脑。
这种设备的生产总是要寻求可以最大程度地减少设备的体积和重量或者可以用给定的体积来增加设备功能的解决方案。
关于设备的重要问题是需要用于无线通信目的的天线。这种情况下,构成天线一部分的辐射单元也是通常配备有内置板天线的特定金属部件,对于所述内置板天线来说,专用的空间是重要的(三波段移动电话的情况下高达5cm3)。
这种设备的外形也成为消费者购买该设备的重要标准。近来某些移动电话已经采用了全部由金属片制成的小键盘。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种同时满足体积限制和美观要求的解决方案。
为达到这个目的,本发明的客体是一种手持电子通信设备,包括在外壳中的用于安装电子部件并提供数个连接点的印刷电路板,以及小键盘,所述小键盘平行于所述印刷电路板伸展并且包括由金属片制成的小键盘用户界面,所述设备进一步包括用于发射和/或接收信号的无线通信模块,所述无线通信模块经由印刷电路板上的天线馈电点连接到辐射单元,其特征在于:所述金属片至少配备有电连接到所述印刷电路板上的所述天线馈电点的连接区域,以及所述金属片进一步包括槽,然后所述小键盘用户界面构成所述辐射单元,所述辐射单元的工作频率取决于该槽的形状和尺寸。
有利地,所述槽可以设计成将金属片分成两个电绝缘的部分,第一部分配备有所述连接区域,所述连接区域电连接到所述印刷电路板上的所述天线馈电点,而第二部分配备有第二连接区域,所述第二连接区域电连接到所述印刷电路板的接地,用于构成防备静电放电现象的屏蔽。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,根据本发明的电子通信设备包括外壳1,通常是平行六面体,并由塑料制成。外壳1典型地包括用于承载设备的不同电子部件的印刷电路板2,例如但并不限于例如LCD的显示屏3。外壳还包括用于经印刷电路板2给不同部件提供电压的电池4。为了这个目的,印刷电路板2电连接到所述电池4,并包含公知的数个包括能量连接和接地(未示出)的特定点或印刷的电走线。最后,所述设备包括平行于印刷电路板2伸展的小键盘5。在图1中,键盘5只伸展到印刷电路板2的一部分,而显示屏3在印刷电路板的剩余部分上方平行伸展。更准确地,小键盘5包括小键盘模块5a,其可以由外壳1固定,并且包括取决于用户是否按压相应按键而开关的触点或是凸起(未示出)。小键盘5还包括用于将小键盘模块5a连接到印刷电路板2上的连接模块5b。因此,用户每按压按键,印刷电路板2上的微处理器(未示出)可接收此信息且触发设备上的相应操作。
根据本发明的必要特征,小键盘5还包括外部金属片5c,其覆盖小键盘模块5a以便构成外部用户界面并电连接到印刷电路板2。在图1中用区域6来表示电连接。根据对将要连接到所述金属片5c的PCB 2上的电触点或走线的选择,该特征可以给予小键盘附加的功能,如下面所要讨论的。
在图2的特定实施例中,金属片5c将被用于天线的辐射部分。这种情况下,便携设备在PCB 2上包括用于无线发射和/或接收信号的无线通信模块(未示出)。如本领域所公知的,该无线通信模块的输出和/或输入构成了众所周知的PCB上的天线馈电点,辐射单元必须连接到其上。根据本发明,金属片5c包括连接区域5e,在图2的实施例中,连接区域5e用来将金属片5c连接到PCB上的天线馈电点(未示出)。此外,如图2所示,金属片5c进一步包括具有片5c厚度的共面槽7。因此,所述小键盘还构成了天线,该天线的工作频率取决于所述槽的形状和尺寸。槽8的宽度最好是尽可能的小,以便几乎不被肉眼看到。
因此,受益于具有槽8以及到PCB的适当电连接的金属小键盘片5c的使用,不需要为设备配备单独的天线,所述天线在已知的解决方案中通常要求重要的专用空间。
图3所示的实施例为第二实施例,其中小键盘同时用作防备静电放电的屏蔽以及用作天线辐射单元。这种情况下,设计槽8以便将金属片5c分为相互电绝缘的两部分。每个部分包括连接区域,标记为5d的一个用于电连接到PCB的接地点,标记为5e的另一个用于电连接到PCB上的天线馈电点。因此,采用金属片5c形式的同一用户界面能防止静电放电现象,并作为天线使用。从而,现有技术所需要的额外成本和厚度在此得以避免。
在上面公开的全部实施例中,金属小键盘同时提供了另一个单元(单独的天线或天线与ESD屏蔽)的功能,因此带来了优化的体积。
此外,金属小键盘的使用就外形设计而言具有非常时尚的外观。
在此公开的全部实施例中,连接区域5d和5e被表示为金属片5c的U形弯曲部分。在相同精神下可以使用其他连接,以便将金属片5c连接到接地点和/或PCB上的天线馈电点。

Claims (2)

1.一种手持电子通信设备,包括在外壳(1)中的用于安装电子部件并提供数个连接点的印刷电路板(2),以及小键盘(5),所述小键盘(5)平行于所述印刷电路板(2)伸展并包括由金属片制成的小键盘用户界面(5c),所述设备进一步包括用于发射和/或接收信号的无线通信模块,所述无线通信模块经由印刷电路板(2)上的天线馈电点连接到辐射单元,其特征在于,所述金属片至少配备有连接区域(5e),所述连接区域(5e)电连接到所述印刷电路板(2)的所述天线馈电点,以及,所述金属片进一步包括槽(8),然后所述小键盘用户界面(5c)构成所述辐射单元,所述辐射单元的工作频率取决于所述槽的形状和尺寸。
2.根据权利要求1的手持电子通信设备,其特征在于:所述槽(8)被设计为将金属片(5c)分成两个电绝缘的部分,第一部分配备有所述连接区域(5e),所述连接区域(5e)电连接到所述印刷电路板(2)的所述天线馈电点,而第二部分配备有第二连接区域(5d),所述二连接区域(5d)电连接到所述印刷电路板(2)的接地,用于构成防备静电放电现象的屏蔽。
