The method comprises the following steps that a streaming media front end sends ANNOUNCE rtsp:// server ip/dir/test.sdp to a streaming media server, which indicates that a live channel needs to be created on the streaming media server, and an extension field is carried in a message SDP, wherein the format of the extension field is as follows:
a ═ identifies that the channel is a stored channel >, such as: a-x-ZMSSSCCsaveChannel
a ═ file name > identifying the channel store, for example: x-ZMSCCfilename:/dir/testcord. mp4
This extension field indicates two aspects of information: (a) the present channel is a storage channel; (b) this channel stores the file names of the programs. For example:
a=x-ZMSSCCSaveChannel
a=x-ZMSSCCfilename:/dir/testrecord.mp4
wherein,
the x-zmsscccsavechannel indicates that the channel is a storage channel.
and a ═ x-zmsscfilename:/dir/testexpected. mp4 indicates that the filename of the media file storage is/dir/testexpected. mp4 under the default path.
(2) The streaming server responds to the 200 OK (200 is the success status code of the RTSP protocol) to grant the media request of the streaming front-end.
(3) The stream media front end sends a SETUP connection to the stream media server, informs the stream media server of a port sent by the stream media front end, and establishes a stream media channel.
(4) And the streaming media server responds to the 200 OK, informs the streaming media front end of a port for receiving the streaming media, and agrees to the request for establishing the media channel of the streaming media front end.

Wherein, the RTP extension field format, as shown in fig. 4:
the extension position X of the RTP is set to be 1, and the extension of the RTP header is identified. The first 16 bits of the extension header are identified as "ZM" and the last 16 bits are the length of the following extension message in units of 32-bit length. ZM and length themselves are not included in length, so length can be 0. The latter message structure is:
id (8 bit) | len (8 position) | The contents of the fields. |
Wherein, the format defined by the 8-bit id is as follows:
1-64 bits have symbol sequence number, the initial value is 1, if the channel is not closed, the field is continuously accumulated all the time;
2-64 bit absolute time, code stream storage time, (time from 1 month 1 morning 1970);
others-pending;
definition of 8 bits len is: 8 bytes long, not including id and len itself.
(11) And performing streaming media storage, wherein the stored file name is the file name notified by the streaming media front-end ANNOUNCE message.

If the client selects pause, the streaming media server records the current pause time point of the user. And after the client selects to play, the streaming media server starts to send streaming media to the client from the stored media file from the recorded current pause time point of the user and enters a time-shifting state. The user can enter a time shifting state through fast backward in a live broadcasting state.
The client can select fast forward and fast backward in the time shifting state. If the client selects fast-backward streaming media, the streaming media server starts playing the stored streaming media file to the client according to the time point of fast backward of the client;
when the client selects fast forward streaming media, the streaming media server starts playing the streaming media to the client according to the time point of the fast forward of the client, if the client fast forwards to the end of the stored file, the server automatically turns into a live broadcast state and sends a live broadcast stream to the client, and at the moment, the client is not allowed to fast forward.
Fig. 3 is a flow chart of a streaming media server performing media service to a client. As shown in fig. 3, the specific steps are as follows:
(A) the client sends a request for playing the streaming media to a streaming media server storing the streaming media through a real-time streaming protocol: the client sends DESCRIBE rtsp:// server ip/dir/test.sdp to the streaming media server, which indicates that the program of the live channel is requested.
(B) The streaming server responds to the 200 OK and approves the media request of the client.
(C) The client sends a SETUP connection to the streaming media server, informs a receiving port of the client of the streaming media server, and establishes a streaming media channel.
(D) And the streaming media server responds to the 200 OK, informs the client of a port for sending the streaming media to the streaming media server, and agrees to the request for establishing the media channel of the client.
(E) If there are two paths of streaming media (video and audio), the client also sends a SETUP connection to the streaming media server to notify the receiving port of the streaming media server client and establish a media channel of another stream.
(F) And the streaming media server responds to the 200 OK, informs the client of a port for receiving the streaming media and agrees to the media channel establishment request of the client.
(G) And the streaming media server sends a connection request response to the client and sends streaming media to the client according to the requirement of the client.
When the client sends PLAY information to the streaming media server, the streaming media server is informed to send media, and the streaming media server sends 200 OK response to the client and transmits the streaming media to the client.
When the client selects to PAUSE playing the streaming media, a PAUSE message is sent to the streaming media server, and the streaming media server records the absolute time of PAUSE of the client (user) and returns a 200 OK response to the client.
The client selects to start playing and sends PLAY message to the streaming media server. The streaming media server searches a corresponding storage file in the SDP of the live channel, such as/dir/testored. mp4 under a default media path, then reads data from an absolute time point, stored by the streaming media server, at which the client is paused, and the streaming media server sends streaming media to the client.
If the client selects fast backward under live broadcasting, the streaming media server obtains streaming media data from the stored media file according to the time point of fast backward of the client and sends the streaming media data to the client.
In summary, the present invention provides a method for storing programs and providing services to client users by using the extended fields in the SDP protocol (RFC2327) through the standard RTSP protocol (RFC 2326). The invention solves the problem of stream media storage, thereby leading the application of the stream media to be wider and supporting stream media services such as conference television storage, time-shifting television and the like. The streaming media is stored in the RTSP without being modified, and only the SDP file is expanded, so that the compatibility is good, and particularly, the switching access between live broadcasting and stored data can be supported without modifying an RTSP client.
