Abstract
本发明公开了一种选择目标小区的方法,包括以下步骤:网络侧设置各小区信息;网络侧获取用户设备的业务需求信息;网络侧根据各小区信息和业务需求信息获取各小区特征值;网络侧根据特征值选择目标小区。本发明还公开了一种选择目标小区的装置,包括:业务信息存储单元、业务需求获取单元和目标小区选择单元。本发明通过对小区的业务类型及业务优先级进行配置,使得通信系统可以在用户设备切换状态时对目标小区进行有效的选择,从而满足了切换状态时用户的业务需求。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及移动通信领域,尤其涉及一种选择目标小区的方法和装置。
背景技术
随着移动通信技术的发展,尤其是3G(3rd Generation,第三代移动通信技术)的发布,在同一移动网络中,服务商可能为用户分层提供不同的业务,如HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access,高速下行分组接入)/HSUPA(High Speed Uplink Packet Access,高速上行分组接入)等高速业务,以及CMB(Cell Multimedia Broadcast,小区多媒体广播)/MBMS(MultimediaBroadcast Multicast Service,多媒体广播和多媒体服务)等特色业务。而同一个区域中也可能存在有覆盖不同小区的不同业务。当用户设备在这些区域中移动时,由于区域变化可能会导致切换状态的发生,这时就需要选择最符合当前用户业务要求的小区作为切换的目标小区。而切换状态要求能够保证目标小区对于当前业务的连续性和质量最优性。如图1所示,显示了用户设备在HSDPA业务中,由区域A经由区域B、C最后移动到区域D的过程。
切换是指当用户设备靠近原来服务小区的边缘,将要进入另一个服务小区时,原基站与用户设备之间的链路将被新基站与用户设备之间的链路来取代的一个过程。
在不同频率之间、不同系统之间发生的切换都是硬切换(Hard Handoff)。在FDMA(Frequency Division Multiple Access,频分多址)和TDMA(TimeDivision Multiple Access,时分多址)系统中,所有的切换都是硬切换。目前GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication,全球移动通信系统)移动电话网采用的便是FDMA和TDMA两种方式的结合。硬切换是指在切换过程中,用户设备与新的基站联系前,先中断与原基站的通信,再与新基站建立联系。硬切换过程中有短暂的中断,容易掉话。
在CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access,码分多址)系统中,切换的情况为软切换(Soft Handoff)。软切换是指用户设备在两个或多个基站的覆盖边缘区域进行切换过程中,在中断与旧的小区的联系之前,先用相同频率建立与新的小区的联系,用户设备同时接收多个基站(大多数情况下是两个)的信号,几个基站也同时接收用户设备的信号,直到满足一定的条件后用户设备才切断同原来基站的联系,在切换过程中,用户设备同时与所有的候选基站保持业务信道的通信。软切换仅能用于具有相同频率的CDMA信道之间,会带来更好的话音质量,掉话的概率大大降低,保证了通信的可靠性,实现无缝切换,且有利于增加反向容量。
在切换时,GSM与CDMA切换的所采取的切换策略为移动台辅助切换。用户设备和基站先分别对可接入信道的信号质量进行测量,并分别将测量结果上报给网络,网络根据测量结果进行切换判断。3G与2G之间的切换,切换由RNC(Radio Network Controller,无线网络控制器)控制,由3G的RNC通过系统消息或者测量控制消息下发给用户设备,用户设备测量临近3G或2G小区的信道质量,并发送测量报告给RNC,由RNC判断切换目标小区。
在切换状态时,用户设备可能会遇到如下问题:软切换时,新增链路不支持当前部分或全部业务;硬切换/伴随迁移时,目标小区不支持当前部分或全部业务;从某种业务的非覆盖区域移动到该业务的覆盖区域,用户设备可能仍然选择不支持该业务的小区。在目前技术中,没有有效的手段能够在用户业务切换状态时,选择满足用户业务需求的目标小区,从而使移动通信系统中多种业务的优势没有发挥更广泛的作用。
发明内容
本发明要解决的问题是提供一种选择目标小区的方法及装置,以使通信系统能在切换状态时,将用户终端向能有效选择满足该用户终端业务需求的目标小区进行切换。
为了达到以上目的,本发明的一实施例提供了一种选择目标小区的方法,包括以下步骤:
网络侧设置各小区信息;
所述网络侧获取用户设备的业务需求信息;
所述网络侧根据所述各小区信息和所述业务需求信息获取各小区特征值;
所述网络侧根据所述特征值选择目标小区。
本发明的另一实施例还提供了一种选择目标小区的装置,包括:业务信息存储单元、业务需求获取单元和目标小区选择单元;
所述业务信息存储单元,存储所有小区可提供的业务类型及其优先等级配置信息;
所述业务需求获取单元,获取用户设备的业务需求;
所述目标小区选择单元,与所述业务信息存储单元和所述业务需求获取单元连接,根据各小区业务信息以及用户设备业务需求选择目标小区。
与现有技术相比,本发明具有以下优点:
本发明可以应用于WCDMA(Wideband CDMA,宽带码分多址)、GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication,全球移动通信系统)、CDMA2000(码分多址2000)以及TD-SCDMA(Time Division Synchronous CDMA,时分同步码分多址)等多种移动通信网络中,使得通信系统可以在用户设备切换状态时对目标小区进行有效的选择,从而满足了切换状态时用户业务的高服务质量与服务连续性。
另外,本发明对于移动通信系统中不同区域所提供的不同业务优先级进行了有效配置,使得在目标小区的选择中,用户需求的业务能够被有效满足。

下面结合附图和实施例,对本发明的具体实施方式作进一步详细描述:
本发明的实施例一中,一种选择目标小区的方法的流程如图2所示,包括以下步骤:
步骤s201,网络侧设置每一小区提供的业务信息。网络侧首先设置各区域所有基本业务类型的优先级,例如将所有n种基本业务类型按照各类型优先级进行从小到大排列为{x1,x2,…xn},其中x1≤x2≤…≤xn。业务对应的优先级越大,表示越期望满足该业务。然后,网络侧根据所述各基本业务类型的优先级设置各小区提供的业务类型的优先级,相同的业务类型具有相同的优先级。以小区W为例,设置后的小区W信息为{xw1,xw2,…xwl},其中xw1≤xw2≤…≤xwl,wl≤n。
步骤s202,网络侧获取用户设备的业务需求信息。所述用户业务要求包括:用户需保留的当前业务,以及切换状态后用户期望新建立的业务。以用户业务需求为R99、HSDPA、HSUPA以及CMB为例,所得用户业务需求信息{R99,HSDPA,HSUPA,CMB}。
步骤s203,网络侧根据各小区信息和业务需求信息获取各小区特征值。根据所述用户业务要求信息和所述小区业务信息分别得到所述各小区支持业务类型与所述用户业务需求的交集,以所述小区W为例,交集为{xk1,xk2,…xkm};由所述交集中各业务类型的优先级分别获取所述各小区特征值,以所述小区W为例,其特征值
步骤s204,所述网络侧获取所述各小区特征值中的最大值,如果所述特征值最大的小区唯一,则选择所述特征值最大的小区作为目标小区,否则选择其中已占用资源最小的小区作为目标小区。
步骤s205,网络侧无线网络控制器向用户设备发送同频测量控制。
步骤s206,用户设备对与其当前离开小区相临近的所有小区的同频信号质量进行测量。

本发明的实施例二中,还提供了一种选择目标小区的装置,其结构示意图如图5所示,包括:业务信息存储单元10、业务需求获取单元20、目标小区选择单元30以及切换状态处理单元40。其中业务信息存储单元10用于存储所有小区中各小区可提供的业务及其优先等级配置信息;业务需求获取单元20用于获取用户设备的业务需求;目标小区选择单元30,用于根据所述业务信息存储单元10存储的小区业务信息以及业务需求获取单元20获取的用户设备的业务需求选择目标小区;切换状态处理单元40,用于根据接收到的所述目标小区选择单元30所选择的目标小区,将用户设备向所述目标小区切换。不同区域中不同小区业务的优先等级信息配置方式如图6所示,根据用户业务要求,对不同区域配置不同的业务类型优先等级。

网络侧设置各小区信息;
所述网络侧获取用户设备的业务需求信息;
所述网络侧根据所述各小区信息和所述业务需求信息获取各小区特征值;
所述网络侧根据所述特征值选择目标小区。
2、如权利要求1所述选择目标小区的方法,其特征在于,所述网络侧设置各小区信息的步骤具体包括:
所述网络侧设置不同区域内各基本业务类型的优先级;
