Description
Technical field
The present invention relates to be suitable for the conducting rubber roller of charged roller in the electronic photographing devices such as duplicating machine or printer, developer roll transfer roll etc.
Background technology
Use conductive roll for paper supply in the electronic photographing devices such as duplicating machine or printer with roller etc.Along with long-term use, on conductive roll, can adhere to ink powder, this becomes the reason that output paper pollutes, as preventing the method for ink powder attached to the roller surface, usually use following countermeasure, promptly wait the improvement rubber surface or form the improvement etc. of layer formation more than 2 layers by resinous coat etc. by UV processings.
For example, method below in patent documentation 1, having proposed, promptly, in 2 layers charged roller of superficial layer with elastic layer and covering elastic layer surface, surface average roughness by making superficial layer is less than the surface average roughness of elastic layer, not cohesive between improvement photoreceptor and ink powder and the roller, thereby the method that permanance is improved. But, because the roller segment that has more than 2 layers is improved, therefore must cause complex procedures, cost to rise in the method. In addition, when the electric conductivity between rubber layer and the resinous coat layer differs big, be difficult to the controlling resistance value.
On the other hand, following image forming apparatus is for example disclosed in patent documentation 2, this image forming apparatus is characterised in that, transfer member is provided with the elastic layer that uses urethane rubber or elastomeric material and form, and improves by aftertreatments such as thermal treatment, UV processing, plasma treatment, ion beam, electron raies on the surface of this elastic layer.By these aftertreatments, on rubber surface, formed active layer (cross-linked layer etc.), make the molecular configuration densification on surface. Therefore, surface energy reduces, and separation property improves, and the adhesion amount of ink powder, paper powder is reduced.
But through improved surface such as UV processing the time, the functional group of the rubber surface of improvement changes, and has the hardness of rubber surface and rubber inside or the problem that electrical characteristics produce difference.

The announcement of invention
The problem that invention will solve
The objective of the invention is just can provide solution above-mentioned problem without complicated step, keeps good electrical characteristics, and can suppress the conducting rubber roller of ink powder attached to roller segment.
Solve the method for problem
The present invention relates to conducting rubber roller, it is characterized in that, at least its roller surface is formed by the rubber composition that contains rubber constituent 100 mass parts and plastifier 0.01~20 mass parts, the solubility parameter of major component in the rubber constituent (SP value) (A) with plastifier in solubility parameter (SP value) poor (A)-(B) (B) of major component in ((A)-(B) 〉=0.9) more than 0.9.Major component in the rubber constituent is ECD particularly preferably.
In addition, " SP value (A) " below, " SP value (B) " and " SP value (A)-SP value (B) " represent that respectively the solubility parameter and the SP value (A) of major component in the solubility parameter, plastifier of major component in the rubber constituent deduct the poor of SP value (B).
Among the present invention, " major component " in rubber constituent or the plastifier is meant the composition that accounts for more than the 50 quality % in rubber constituent integral body or plastifier integral body.In addition, when for example in rubber constituent or plastifier, mixing 2 kinds of compositions with 50 quality % respectively, have at least a SP value (A)-SP value (B) to get final product in the combination more than 0.9.
The SP value can think to represent an index of molecular polarity, the molecule that the SP value is big, and general polarity is big.Among the present invention,, can obtain to suppress the conductive roll that ink powder adheres to by using SP value relation adjustment rubber composition within the specific limits with rubber constituent and plastifier.
As rubber composition of the present invention, better use solid gum or foamed rubber (sponge gums). In addition, the amount of plastifier more preferably is set in the scope of 0.1~2.0 mass parts.
In the plastifier of the present invention, SP value (B) is more fortunately in 5.0~8.5 the scope, the spy fortunately below 7.5, more than 6.5.
The effect of invention
The rubber composition that the present invention reduces surface energy by the relation that adopts the SP value through adjusting rubber constituent and plastifier at least in the rubber rollers surface can just can produce without complicated step and can effectively suppress the conducting rubber roller of ink powder in roller surface set.
The simple declaration of accompanying drawing
[Fig. 1] is the sectional view that shows the structure of conductive roll of the present invention.
[explanation of symbol]
1 metal-cored part, 2 rubber parts.
The best mode that carries out an invention
Fig. 1 is the sectional view that shows the structure of conductive roll of the present invention.Conducting rubber roller of the present invention covers rubber part 2 and constitutes on metal-cored part 1.
The rubber composition that uses in conducting rubber roller of the present invention is characterised in that, adjusts the relation of the SP value of rubber constituent and plastifier, makes SP value (A)-SP value (B) more than 0.9.
SP value among the present invention can be tried to achieve by the small formula,
σ=∑Fi/V=ρFi/M
(in the formula, Fi: mole attraction constant, V: mole volume, ρ: density, M: molecular weight)
The SP value is the index that is mainly used to show molecular polarity, so generally between the approaching molecule of SP value shows high intermiscibility.Having sufficient physical strength in order to ensure the rubber constituent of using for conducting rubber roller, better use to have certain above SP value, is the reason of ink powder attached to the roller surface but rubber constituent has high polarity. At this moment, as add the SP value and compare rubber constituent for very little plastifier, then plastifier has played the effect that job stability that the rubber composition flexibility makes rubber rollers improves of giving, by this effect surface energy is descended, can suppress ink powder thus in the roller surface attachment, therefore can improve performance as rubber rollers.
Conducting rubber roller of the present invention is characterised in that, in order to suppress adhering to of ink powder, mixed the plastifier of difference in specific scope with the SP value of rubber constituent.By like this,, can under the prerequisite of electric conductivity that the rubber section branch of not sacrificing in the conducting rubber roller has, obtain having the rubber rollers of advantageous electrical properties with transitivity owing to do not need to implement the chemical modifying etc. on roller surface.
Conducting rubber roller of the present invention can be made of individual layer or multilayer, and in the surface of rubber rollers, the SP value between the major component of rubber constituent and plastifier satisfies specific relation and gets final product at least. But, obtaining aspect the good electrical conductivity, the inner and roller surface element of roller is that same composition is favourable, more preferably is made of individual layer. In addition, when being made of multilayer, the layer that constitutes the roller surface at least is to be made of at the rubber composition more than 0.9 SP value (A)-SP value (B) to get final product.
Among the present invention, set the relation of the SP value of rubber constituent and plastifier, make SP value (A)-SP value (B) more than 0.9.In order to make rubber constituent have sufficient physical strength, need to use SP value more than necessarily, when the difference of the SP of rubber constituent and plastifier value 0.9 when above, rubber constituent that combination has excellent physical strength and surface energy reduce the good plastifier of effect, and rubber rollers has good ink powder and adheres to the inhibition effect. When this situation, prevented that the intermiscibility of rubber constituent and plastifier is too high in addition, may command plastifier state with the aggegation form that keeps appropriateness in rubber composition disperses. Therefore, plastifier exists with the dispersion size more than certain on the rubber rollers surface, and therefore just can bringing into play to greatest extent with a spot of plastifier, surface energy lowers effect.
Among the present invention, when SP value (A)-SP value (B) less than 0.9 and 0 when above, for the surface energy that obtains desired degree lowers effect, need to add a large amount of plastifier. But as adding a large amount of plastifier, then plastifier is separated out on the surface when using rubber rollers, has like this to produce the danger of polluting, so is not suitable for.
On the other hand, when SP value (A)-SP value (B) less than 0 the time, need to use the rubber of SP value less than general spendable plastifier in rubber industry, but therefore such rubber be not suitable for rubber part owing to do not possess the necessary characteristic that physical strength, thermotolerance etc. are used for the rubber part of rubber rollers.
As from the foregoing, then the characteristic of the major component in rubber constituent and the plastifier fully can be reflected in rubber composition on the whole as SP value (A)-SP value (B) more than 0.9.
SP value (A)-SP value (B) is getting final product more than 0.9, more preferably more than 1.5, if but the difference of two sides' SP value is excessive, intermiscibility variation then, plastifier takes place during fabrication easily separates out from the rubber composition of rubber constituent and plastifier, therefore SP value (A)-SP value (B) is preferably and is set in below 4.0, particularly preferably is set in below 3.0.
As the rubber constituent of using among the present invention, except ECD, urethane rubber, nitrile rubber, acrylic rubber, neoprene, fluororubber, nitrile rubber, norbornene rubbers etc. have the rubber of ionic conductivity, also have rubber such as natural rubber (NR), butadiene rubber, isoprene rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer rubber (EPDM), butyl rubber, organic silicon rubber, can use these rubber also the rubber more than 2 kinds can be used as potpourri separately.Wherein, from having the angle of good electrical conductivity and rerum natura, ECD particularly preferably, with the ECD is the rubber constituent of major component, and particularly the rubber constituent of mixing ECD and acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) with 50 quality % has respectively shown good electric conductivity and rerum natura.
There is no particular limitation for the SP value (A) of rubber constituent of the present invention, is preferably more than 7.0 below 10.0.Wherein SP value (A) is as more than 7.5, and especially more than 8.0, particularly more than 8.5, then rubber constituent has good physical strength, electric conductivity and thermotolerance, and as below 9.5, especially 9.0 when following, processability and job stability are good.
As plastifier of the present invention, for example can suit to use paraffin series, cyclic hydrocarbon system as petroleum line softener; The process oil of aromatic series; The castor oil of department of botany's softening agent, cottonseed oil, linseed oil, rapeseed oil, soybean oil, palm oil, coconut oil, peanut oil, Japan tallow, rosin, pine tar, tall oil etc., and phthalic ester is, adipate is, sebacate is, phosphate is, polyethers is, polyester is a plastifier etc., can use these compounds separately, also can mix more than 2 kinds and use.
With respect to 100 mass parts rubber constituents, cooperate 0.01~20 mass parts, the spy is well the interior plastifier of scope of 0.1~2.0 mass parts.Use level is as more than 0.01 mass parts, then can obtain the effect that ink powder adheres to that prevents of desired degree by the existence of plastifier, as below 20 mass parts, then the danger that is descended by the rerum natura of problem such as the paper pollution of separating out generation of plastifier and rubber part is few.
Among the present invention, use the plastifier of SP value (B) in 5.0~8.5 scope.More than 5.0, then can prevent the rerum natura decline of rubber part or separating out of plastifier as SP value (B).In addition, when SP value (B) 8.5 when following, by being reduced the effect of surface energy fully, can make that to suppress the effect that ink powder adheres to good.Wherein, SP value spy fortunately more than 6.5, below 7.5.
According to the characteristic that requires of the purposes of conducting rubber roller, suitably select the best rubber constituent and the SP value of plastifier to get final product.
As the concrete example of plastifier preferably, can exemplify as the SP value in the petroleum line softener of the paraffin series about 6~8 or SP value at the petroleum line softener of the system of the cyclic hydrocarbon about 7.5~8.5, the silicone oil of SP value about 7.3 etc.SP value about these softening agents for example is documented in " basis of rubber technology " (this Xiang of Ri Jiao Association can compile). As the combination of rubber constituent and plastifier, particularly preferably the SP value be in about 8.8~9.5 the ECD with separately or the state of the potpourri more than 2 kinds mix these plastifier.
Among the present invention in the used rubber composition, except above-mentioned rubber constituent and plastifier, also can suitably mix gradation composition commonly used in the manufacturing of rubber as described below.

As vulcanization accelerator, dibenzothiazyl disulfide (DM), 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (D), 2-mercaptobenzothiazole zinc salt thiazoless such as (MZ) are arranged; Diisopropyl sulfenamide (DIBS), cyclohexyl sulfenamide sulfinylamines such as (CZ); Tetramethylthiuram disulfide (TT), tetraethylthiuram disulfide (TET), bis-pentamethylenethiuram tetrasulfide thiurams such as (TRA); PZ salt (PZ), zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate salt dithiocar-bamates such as (EZ); The guanidine class; Thiourea; The aldehyde ammonia class; Xanthogenic acid salt etc. From the reaction that can promote rubber constituent and vulcanizing agent, shorten cure time, reduce curing temperature, reduce the Sulfur amount, improve the collapse strength of rubber rollers, the aspect of mar proof is considered, is preferably thiazoles, particularly preferably DM.In addition, from comparing with thiazoles, the angle of slow incipient scorch and very fast initial sulfuration is preferably sulfinylamines, particularly preferably CZ.
As vulcanization accelerator additive, can exemplify as fatty acid such as metal oxides such as zinc paste, zinc stearate, oleic acid.
In addition, except anti aging dopes such as amine system, phenol systems; Outside the filling agents such as carbon, silicon dioxide, clay, cork, talcum, lime carbonate, two base phosphites (DLP), basic magnesium carbonate, aluminium oxide, also can suitably mix softening agent, reinforcing agent etc.
Rubber composition used among the present invention is modulated except can be used as solid solid gum, is used for outside the rubber part of conducting rubber roller, also can be used as foamed rubber and modulates.Use the rubber rollers of solid rubber to have physical strength and high conductive advantage, on the other hand, it is good that the rubber rollers of use foamed rubber has flexibility, is particularly suitable for being used in the advantage of transfer roll. Therefore according to the desirable performance of electronic photographing device that adopts conducting rubber roller of the present invention, suitably select the proterties of used rubber composition to get final product.
Foamed rubber can be by the blowing promotor that adds gas-development agent and add as required in the gradation composition of rubber composition, is preferably in confined conditions to make by vulcanization forming.
As gas-development agent, can better use chemical foaming agent, it is divided into organic system and inorganic system. As the gas-development agent of organic system, can use azobisformamide (ADCA), azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN), azoformic acid barium azo-compounds such as (Ba/AC); N, N '-dinitrosopentamethylene tetramine nitroso compounds such as (DPT), benzene sulfonyl hydrazide (BSH), 4,4 oxos two (benzene sulfonyl hydrazide) (OBSH), toluene sulfonyl hydrazide (TSH), biruea hydrazide derivatives such as (HDCA) etc.As the gas-development agent of inorganic system, can use sodium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate), ammonium bicarbonate, hartshorn salt, sodium bicarbonate etc. Both can use these compounds separately, also can will be used in combination more than 2 kinds.
In addition, as blowing promotor, except organic acids such as salicylic acid are the auxiliary agent, also can use urea is auxiliary agent etc.Wherein, for the gas-development agent of the suitable ECD that uses among the present invention, N particularly preferably, N '-dinitrosopentamethylene tetramine nitroso compounds such as (DPT).
