With reference to Fig. 1, AC current sensor 100 comprises triac 10, voltage sensing unit 12, signal processing unit 14, control module 16, temperature sensor 18 and storer 20.
Before describing AC current sensor 100 in detail, with the operating characteristic of brief description triac 10.
Triac 10 is ovonics, that is, bidirectional triode thyristor is applied on its grid if surpass the electric current of scheduled volume, and then this triac 10 is connected to connect two end T1 and T2.Below, the voltage-current characteristic of triac describes with reference to Fig. 2 and Fig. 3.
Fig. 2 is the chart of the current-voltage characteristic of explanation triac when on-state.As shown in Figure 2, electric current proportional ground wire rising along with the growth that is applied to the voltage between triac T1 end and the T2 end.In addition, as can be seen, also change according to the temperature change of triac according to the current value of the voltage that applies.
Fig. 3 is the chart of the temperature current characteristic of explanation triac when on-state.As shown in Figure 3, electric current increasing and proportional ground wire rising along with the triac temperature.
Therefore, as can be seen, the electric current of triac is according to the change of voltage and temperature and linear the change.
To illustrate now according to AC current sensor 100 of the present invention. At first, triac 10 is connected between a plurality of conductors 1 that the AC electric current flows through. In this case, preferably the positive pole (+) of conductor links to each other with the T1 end with the T2 end of triac respectively with negative pole (-).Simultaneously, the grid G of triac links to each other with control module 16, and this control module 16 applies the particular current value so that triac keeps connecting to the grid of triac.
Voltage sensing unit 12 sensings are applied to the T1 end of triac 10 and the voltage between the T2 end.Signal processing unit 14 is removed the DC component from the analog voltage signal that inputs to voltage sensing unit 12, this analog voltage signal is converted to digital signal, and this digital voltage signal is sent to control module 16.
The operation of each ingredient of control module 16 control AC current sensors 100, and the temperature of temperature sensor 18 sensing the triacs 10 and temperature that senses sent to control module 16.The voltage versus current lookup table that memory stores illustrates after a while. In addition, control module 16 uses from the digital voltage signal of signal processing unit 14 inputs, from the temperature data of temperature sensor 18 inputs and be stored in voltage versus current lookup table the storer 20, determines output current value Io.
Fig. 4 is the figure that voltage versus current lookup table according to a preferred embodiment of the invention is described.
With reference to Fig. 4, be respectively-40 ℃ in the temperature of triac 10, under the condition of 20 ℃ and 80 ℃, shown current value corresponding to the magnitude of voltage of triac 10.In an embodiment of the present invention, based on current-voltage characteristic curve shown in Figure 2, prepared voltage versus current lookup table shown in Figure 4.
Control module 16 is determined output current Io based on voltage versus current lookup table, from the voltage data of signal processing unit 14 inputs and the temperature data of importing from temperature sensor 18.
In this case, if the data set in input voltage data or temperature data and the voltage versus current lookup table is inconsistent, then control module is determined output current Io according to linear interpolation. As mentioned above, because under the state that triac is connected, the electric current relative voltage and the temperature of triac have linear relationship, use linear interpolation to determine that the error that produces during the output current Io is very small, can ignore.

Suppose output current be voltage V and temperature T function I (V, T), if the temperature T of triac is T=T 0And voltage V is V 0And V 1Between value, can use following equation to calculate output current I (V, T so 0).
[equation 1]
I ( V , T 0 ) = I ( V ) = I ( V 0 ) + I ( V 1 ) - I ( V 0 ) V 1 - V 0 ( V - V 0 )
Here, I (V 0) and I (V 1) be I (V 0, T 0) and I (V 1, T 0) reduced representation, and V 0, V 1, I (V 0, T 0) and I (V 1, T 0) be the data set in the voltage versus current lookup table.
Similarly, if magnitude of voltage V is V=V 0, temperature value T is T 0And T 1Between value, can use following equation to calculate output current I (V so 0, T).
[equation 2]
I ( V 0 , T ) = I ( T ) = I ( T 0 ) + I ( T 1 ) - I ( T 0 ) T 1 - T 0 ( T - T 0 )
Here, I (T 0), I (T 1) be I (V 0, T 0) and I (V 0, T 1) reduced representation, and V 0, V 1, I (V 0, T 0) and I (V 0, T 1) be the data set in the voltage versus current lookup table.
Below, with the operation that describes in detail as the AC current sensor 100 of above-mentioned structure.
Fig. 5 is the process flow diagram that the operating process of AC current sensor according to a preferred embodiment of the invention is described.
With reference to Fig. 5, after triac is connected between the conductor that the AC electric current flows through, the voltage that is applied between triac T1 end and the T2 end is carried out sensing (step 10) under the state that triac is connected. Then, from the simulation AC voltage signal that senses, remove DC component (step 12).Then, the simulation AC voltage signal of having removed the DC component is converted to digital voltage signal (step 14).Then, working voltage electric current look-up table is converted to current value (step 16) with this magnitude of voltage. At this moment, temperature data is set as particular value (for example, 20 ℃).Simultaneously, if the magnitude of voltage that is provided with in the magnitude of voltage of the digital voltage signal of input and the voltage versus current lookup table is inconsistent, then use equation 1 represented linear interpolation method to determine current value.
, the temperature of triac carried out sensing (step 18) thereafter, and based on the sensed temperature data, to proofreading and correct (step 20) at the current value of step 16 conversion. That is: the deviation to the caused current value of difference between the actual temperature of employed specified temp of step 16 (for example, 20 ℃) and triac compensates. In this case, the deviation compensation of current value can use equation 2 represented linear interpolations to carry out. Then, export the current value of this correction to finish AC current sense process.
Therefore as mentioned above, according to the present invention, AC current sensor according to the present invention has used triac, and can miniaturization and reduce production costs. In addition, AC current sensor according to the present invention has used linear current-to-voltage characteristics, and compare the intensity of current value of its sensing with conventional sensors bigger, therefore do not need independent amplifier.
Aforesaid embodiment is exemplary, and it is of the present invention to be understood as restriction. This method can be applied on the device of other types easily.Description of the invention is illustrative, does not limit the scope of the claims. Many replacements, modifications and variations are obvious for a person skilled in the art.
