Abstract

一种接收多媒体广播与组播业务的方法,包括步骤:SRNC向处于CS域连接状态而PS域空闲状态的用户设备发送消息告知用户为MBMS业务建立PS域的信令连接;用户设备收到该消息后向核心网发送业务请求消息,该消息中的业务类型为“MBMS寻呼响应”;SGSN向SRNC发送“MBMS UE连接请求”消息。本发明通过增加一条从SRNC到用户设备的RRC消息或者在已有RRC消息中增加新的信息单元,从而使得用户设备能够知道建立的信令连接是为MBMS业务服务的,向核心网发送正确的消息,从而保证核心网节点SGSN的正确操作。

Description

接收多媒体广播与组播业务的方法
技术领域
本发明涉及宽带码分多址(以下简称WCDMA)移动通信系统中提供多媒体广播与组播业务(以下简称)MBMS业务的方法,尤其是为处于电路域连接状态(以下简称CMM_CONNECTED)分组域空闲状态(以下简称PMM_IDLE)的用户设备(以下简称UE)提供MBMS业务的方法。
背景技术
多媒体广播和组播业务(以下简称MBMS)是第三代伙伴计划(以下简称3GPP)正在进行标准化的一项新业务。MBMS业务是一种单向的点对多点的业务,这种业务的最大特点是它可以有效的利用无线资源和网络资源。
图1描述了MBMS的系统结构,MBMS网络结构以通用分组无线业务(简称GPRS)核心网为基础,并增加了新的网络单元。下面是对图1MBMS系统结构的描述。
101广播和组播业务中心(简称BM-SC)是MBMS系统的业务控制中心。102网关GPRS支持节点(简称GGSN)和103服务GPRS支持节点(简称SGSN)构成了MBMS业务的传输网络,为数据的传输提供路由。104UMTS陆地无线接入网(简称UTRAN)在空中接口上为MBMS服务提供无线资源。105用户设备(简称UE)是用来接收数据的终端设备。106归属位置寄存器(简称HLR)保存与用户有关的数据,可以提供用户鉴权等服务。107Uu为无线接口,108Iu表示接入网和核心网之间的接口。MBMS业务所用的无线资源不是用户专用的,而是由此业务的所有用户共享的。
图3描述了当前系统中处于CMM_CONNECTED而PMM_IDLE的用户设备进入PMM_CONNECTED状态的信令流程图。301用户设备建立CS域的呼叫从而进入CS域的连接状态(CMM_CONNECTED),而PS域仍处于空闲状态(PMM_IDLE)。此时302如果PS域有业务要传输,那么用户设备需要进入PMM_CONNECTED状态。此时用户设备的服务无线网络控制器(以下简称SRNC)向用户设备发送RRC消息“寻呼类型1”或者“寻呼类型2”303,该消息中包含寻呼类型,现在已经定义的寻呼类型有:被叫语音呼叫(Terminating Conversational Call),被叫流业务呼叫(Terminating Streaming Call),被叫交互业务呼叫(Terminating InteractiveCall),被叫背景业务呼叫(Terminating Background Call),被叫高优先级信令(Terminating High Priority Signalling),被叫低优先级信令(Terminating Low Priority Signalling),不知原因的被叫呼叫(Terminating-cause unknown)。304当用户设备的RRC层收到寻呼消息后,将寻呼类型递交给RRC层的上层。305RRC层的上层根据该寻呼类型决定建立PS域的信令连接,将该命令发给RRC。306用户设备通过SRNC的转发307,向SGSN发送消息“业务请求”。该业务请求中携带的“业务类型”按照现在规范可以是:“数据”,“信令”,“寻呼响应”或者是“MBMS寻呼响应”。
在为用户设备提供MBMS业务的时候,用户设备接收与MBMS相关的信令通常都是通过从CRNC发出的组播控制信道MCCH上接收的。但是对于处于CMM_CONNECTED而PMM_IDLE的用户设备,接收跟MBMS相关的信息通常是通过专用控制信道DCCH完成的。本发明描述的从SRNC到用户设备的消息就是通过DCCH发送的。
现有技术中,当用户设备已经处于CMM_CONNECTED状态时,如果要为了MBMS业务而进入PMM_CONNECTED状态去,用户设备不知道业务类型是MBMS,因此用户设备不可能在“业务请求”中设置业务类型为“MBMS寻呼响应”的,从而使得SGSN的操作不正常。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种方法,使得用户设备知道它要进入PMM_CONNECTED状态是为了MBMS业务,从而保证网络侧SGSN的操作正常。
为实现上述目的,一种接收多媒体广播与组播业务的方法,包括步骤:
SRNC向处于CS域连接状态而PS域空闲状态的用户设备发送消息告知用户为MBMS业务建立PS域的信令连接;
用户设备收到该消息后向核心网发送业务请求消息,该消息中的业务类型为“MBMS寻呼响应”;
SGSN向SRNC发送“MBMS UE连接请求”消息。
本发明通过增加一条从SRNC到用户设备的RRC消息或者在已有RRC消息中增加新的信息单元,从而使得用户设备能够知道建立的信令连接是为MBMS业务服务的,向核心网发送正确的消息,从而保证核心网节点SGSN的正确操作。

具体实施方式
本发明给出了如何向处于CMM_CONNECTED而PMM_IDLE状态的用户设备通知为MBMS业务进入PMM_CONNECTED状态的方法。图2描述了SRNC向用户设备发送消息让其进入PMM_CONNECTED状态的流程图。
201用户因为CS域的呼叫而进入CMM_CONNECTED,PMM_CONNECTED状态,在此时用户设备域PS域的核心网节点SGSN之间是没有信令连接的。而如果用户设备的状态转移到PMM_CONNECTED,那么用户设备与SGSN之间就会建立信令连接。202如果此时有MBMS业务开始并且信道类型确定为点对点的模式或者用户设备已经在以点对多点的方式接收MBMS业务但是该业务对应的信道类型由点对多点转变为点对点方式,(用户设备的SRNC可以是通过自己的统计或者从用户设备的DRNC得到该信息)那么SRNC就向用户设备发送“点对点信道建立通知”203,该消息中包括MBMS业务标识。204用户设备准备建立PS域的信令连接,向核心网CN发送“业务请求”消息205,该消息通过SRNC的转发206而到达SGSN。该消息中的“业务类型”设置为“MBMS寻呼响应”。当SGSN收到该消息之后,就知道用户设备进入PMM_CONNECTED状态是为了MBMS的缘故,因此SGSN就向SRNC发送207“MBMS UE连接请求”消息,该消息告知SRNC用户设备加入的所有MBMS业务。然后SRNC就可以建立点对点信道209,为该用户设备以点对点的方式提供MBMS业务。消息203可以是一条新的消息,也可以是已有的消息“寻呼类型1”或“寻呼类型2”,这两条消息中的寻呼原因设置为一个新的原因值:被叫MBMS(Terminating MBMS call)。
实施例
图4描述了用户设备与SRNC的动作行为。401阶段用户设备建立CS呼叫而进入CMM_CONNECTED,PMM_IDLE状态。在此时用户设备域PS域的核心网节点SGSN之间是没有信令连接的。而如果用户设备的状态转移到PMM_CONNECTED,那么用户设备与SGSN之间就会建立信令连接。401a阶段,用户设备的SRNC通过自己的统计或者从用户设备的DRNC得到要为MBMS业务建立点对点信道的决定,402b SRNC就向用户设备发送“点对点信道建立通知”消息。而在用户设备侧,其从SRNC处收到402为MBMS业务建立点对点信道的请求。用户设备403决定建立PS域的信令连接,向核心网发送“业务请求”消息404。

Claims (6)

1.一种接收多媒体广播与组播业务的方法,包括步骤:
SRNC向处于CS域连接状态而PS域空闲状态的用户设备发送消息通知用户为MBMS业务建立PS域的信令连接;
用户设备收到通知消息后向核心网发送业务请求消息,所述业务请求消息中的业务类型为“MBMS寻呼响应”;
SGSN向SRNC发送“MBMS UE连接请求”消息。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:SRNC向用户设备发送的消息是新消息“点对点信道建立请求”。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:SRNC向用户设备发送的消息是已有消息“寻呼类型1”或者“寻呼类型2”。
4.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于:SRNC向用户设备发送的消息包含参数“MBMS业务标识”。
5.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于:SRNC向用户设备发送的“寻呼类型1”或者“寻呼类型2”消息中的寻呼类型设置为“被叫MBMS呼叫”。
6.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:SRNC向用户设备发送的消息是在专用控制信道DCCH上传输的。
