本发明提出了一种Rayleigh信道下时空TRELLIS编码的最优设计方法,其中包括:在Rayleigh衰落信道下,对n发m收的时空编码系统而言,如果要使系统获得的分集和编码增益最大,对错误概率最小,必须使两个码字之间最小的有效长度和平方乘积距最大;其中对应于系统所获得的总的分集重数,包括时间分集,发射分集和接收分集,时间分集重数对应于时间索引i的个数,发射分集重数对应于发射天线索引p的个数,接收分集重数为m,相应于系统获得的编码增益。采用本发明提供的根据有效长度和最小乘积距设计的时空编码,可以获得更大的编码增益,在Rayleigh信道下,具有很好的抗衰落性能。
