Description

Interactive network remote control system and intelligent wireless remote controller
Technical Field
The invention relates to a home network and remote controller technology, in particular to an interactive network remote control system and an intelligent wireless remote controller.
Background
The remote controller technology is a mature technology developed at present, is widely applied, and is particularly applied to household appliances, so that people can operate the appliances more easily and conveniently.
A conventional remote control system is generally unidirectional and simple, and its basic principle is shown in fig. 1, and fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of the basic principle of the prior art remote control system. As shown in fig. 1, the conventional remote control system includes a remote controller 101, a remote control receiving head 102 included in an electric appliance 100, a remote control code processing circuit 103, and an electric appliance main body 104. The traditional household appliance remote control system is characterized in that: data is unidirectional, the system structure is simple, and the function is single. The remote controller sends an electrical appliance control command to a remote control receiving head 102 included in the electrical appliance 100 through a wireless transmission medium such as infrared rays and sound waves, the receiving head 102 receives signals such as infrared rays and sound waves, and the remote control code processing circuit 103 converts the signals into specific electric signals to control the electrical appliance main body 104.
It can be seen that the traditional remote control system is characterized in that: one electric appliance is matched with one remote controller, data is unidirectional, the system structure is simple, and the function is single. Since the state of the remotely controlled appliance needs to be checked in the field after the remote controller in the prior art sends the remote control key code, otherwise, it is impossible to know whether other keys should be pressed again, which obviously brings trouble to the user operation. Moreover, with the increase of household appliances, the number of remote controllers is increased, which brings certain inconvenience to the operation of the appliances.
In view of the above situation, a "direct control type remote controller/system" is presented, which is a remote controller/system that directly sends control commands to controlled devices by a remote controller, and is implemented by adding a module for analyzing signals or returning status information to the remote controller and the controlled devices. This approach also fails to get rid of the orientation requirement of a conventional remote control for a remotely controlled device. It is not suitable to hope that the direct control type remote controller realizes advanced functions such as interaction, multifunction, remote control, etc.; in order to directly control various devices by a traditional remote controller and realize interaction between each device and the remote controller, a new protocol needs to be created, and in addition, the functions of controlling a plurality of devices and remote control need to be realized, the requirements will make the direct control type remote controller complicated and expensive, and the performance is difficult to guarantee and easy to damage.
With the popularization of computers and networks, new technical fields appear at present: intelligent home network technology. It is a comprehensive technology integrating computer network, electric appliance control and sensor technology.
The main body of the intelligent home network technology is a home network, and a network model thereof is shown in fig. 2, and fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a structure of a home network in the prior art. As shown in fig. 2, the home network model is divided into a backbone network and a control network.
Firstly, a backbone network: the transmitted information is large in amount, mainly including common data, multimedia broadcast data, multimedia communication data, and the like, and can also transmit control information. Currently, the ethernet architecture is generally adopted, and a common 10/100BaseT network line is used. Which is connected to a computer 201, home printer 202, other home network devices 203, and to a control network through a control gateway 204.
II, controlling a network: the control information is mainly transmitted, and a small amount of data information can also be transmitted, and the control network and the backbone network realize communication by a control gateway. Currently, the system can be implemented by using a system architecture such as a consumer electronics bus (CEBus, also called a home bus). Which connects various electrical devices 205 and to the backbone network through a control gateway 204.
Third, the control gateway 204: while the special network port of the backbone network is connected with the backbone network, and the special network port of the control network is connected with the control network. Thus, the computer 201 on the backbone network can control the electrical devices 205 in the control network through the control gateway 204.
It is obvious that in the home network, the control and operation of various electric appliances are controlled by a computer connected to a backbone network at present, a series of processes such as starting up and entering an electric appliance operating system are required, and the use is not simple and convenient enough and random in the actual home.

The embodiment of the invention is to establish an interactive network remote control system, which comprises a network for connecting each remote controlled device, wherein the network can be a backbone network home network comprising a computer and peripheral devices to be remotely controlled; or a control network home network for connecting the electric appliances to be remotely controlled; or a home network comprising a backbone network, a control network and a control gateway. The system also comprises a network access module, a receiving point feedback unit arranged in each remote-controlled device and a remote control terminal, wherein all devices connected on the home network are remotely controlled by one remote control terminal.
The home network used in this embodiment includes a backbone network, a control network, and a control gateway, where the backbone network connects a computer and its peripheral devices, and is connected to the control gateway, and may be constructed by using an ethernet network. The control gateway is connected with a backbone network and a control network to realize the communication between the backbone network and the control network; the control network connects the electrical equipment and is connected with the control gateway, and a consumer electronics bus (CEBus) system architecture can be adopted; or a fully distributed intelligent digital control network, such as: LonWorks network protocol architecture; or a power line carrier digital control network, for example: the X-10 protocol architecture.
The network access module is connected with a home network, forwards remote control information sent by the remote control terminal to a receiving feedback unit in the remotely controlled equipment through the home network, and forwards information sent by the receiving feedback unit to the remote control terminal; the module can be a home network wireless access module, and also can be a router or a home gateway for connecting the internet.
And the receiving feedback point unit is arranged in each remote control device and used for sending the remote control information received by the receiving feedback point unit to the remote control device, collecting the state information of the remote control device where the receiving feedback point unit is located and sending the state information to the home network access module.

Usually, the information is set in the control gateway, and includes control software, a remote control code and information identified by the remote control device, and a mapping table. The interpretation module is arranged in the control gateway, and a database and a mapping table in the interpretation module can be modified when the control network increases or decreases new equipment. If the remote control terminal is arranged in the remote control terminal, the remote control terminal needs a large storage space, is troublesome to modify and is not generally adopted. If provided in each remotely controlled device, are not suitable for the same management.
When the home network access module is a home network wireless access module and the remote control terminal is an intelligent wireless remote controller, the home network wireless access module can be connected with any part of the home network and is in information communication with the intelligent wireless remote controller, so that all remote controlled equipment connected in the home network can be remotely controlled. In this case, there are three embodiments, and each of the embodiments will be described below.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of remote control through a backbone network in the interactive network remote control system according to the present invention, which is a first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the interactive network remote control system of this embodiment is mainly constituted by a home network and a remote controller 301.
The backbone network of the home network is constructed by ethernet, and is connected with a remotely controlled device 303 including a software receiving feedback point, which may be a home computer here, or a device 304 that does not need to be controlled, such as a network printer controlled by a computer, and a backbone network wireless access point 302 that realizes wireless communication with the remote controller 301, that is, a home network wireless access module, which may be a wireless AP (access point) or a wireless gateway, and this embodiment is realized by an AP.
The software receiving feedback point in the remotely controlled device 303 is a receiving feedback point program of the backbone network, and is a software receiving feedback point unit, referring to fig. 11, and fig. 11 is an application schematic diagram of the receiving feedback point program of the backbone network device in the interactive network remote control system of the present invention. And the receiving feedback point program controls the remotely controlled equipment to execute the application program according to the remote control information received by the backbone network of the home network, reads the working state information of the remotely controlled equipment and sends the working state information to the backbone network. The devices on the backbone network are all PC architectures, as shown in fig. 11, which include a hardware abstraction layer 125, an operating system 124, supporting software 123, and the like. In addition, the other application 122 may perform data transmission with the reception feedback program 121. The software receives feedback points in many control modes, generally, various network command messages are sent, for example, a remote controller can access a control gateway through a web page, the web page is a control page, a CGI command is sent by clicking each control button, and a CGI program on the control gateway executes an actual action when a CGI command is sent. The CGI program is now an executing application.
In this embodiment, the control network of the home network is implemented by a consumer electronics bus (CEBus, also called a home bus) architecture, and is connected to a plurality of electrical devices 310, where each electrical device 310 is installed with a receiving feedback circuit 311, which is a hardware receiving feedback point unit, and receives the remote control command sent by the control gateway 305, controls the remote controlled device 310, and sends the state of the remote controlled device 310 to the control gateway 305.
Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of a receiving point feedback circuit 311 of a control network device in the interactive network remote control system according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 10, the receiving feedback point circuit includes: a CPU 111 and its necessary ROM 112 and RAM 113, a control network networking module 110, a device state storage 114, and a control execution module 116 installed in a remotely controlled device main body 115. Wherein, the CPU 111 sends control information to the control execution module 116 according to the remote control information received by the control network networking module 110 from the control network of the home network, and reads the device state information and stores it in the device state storage 114; and the CPU 111 reads the device status from the device status storage 114 and transmits it to the control network through the control network networking module 110.
Since the state of the device is stored directly in its corresponding memory, when the remote control information from the control gateway comes, it converts the information into specific circuit control signals to control the electrical equipment, and once the state of the electrical equipment changes, it records it at any time for periodic check of the control gateway.
The control gateway 305 of the home network mainly performs the function of connecting the backbone network and the control network in this embodiment, and its structure is shown in fig. 8, fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of the internal structure of the control gateway of the interactive network remote control system of the present invention, which includes a backbone network networking module 801, a CPU802, a control network networking module 803, and a RAM804 and a Flash ROM805 for storing necessary data. The control gateway 305 periodically checks the status of each controlled device by reading the status storage unit of the reception feedback circuit 311 of each device and feeds back the status information to the remote controller 301 at the same periodic intervals, so that the remote controller 301 knows the relevant status of each device to be controlled. The backbone network networking module 801 is a general network card, which can be wired or wireless, and realizes connection between the control gateway 305 and the backbone network; the control network networking module 803 may be composed of a serial communication module or a USB communication module, which realizes that the control gateway 305 is connected to the control network; the dashed-line wireless direct connection module 806 is a wireless module required for direct communication with the remote controller, and in this embodiment, the remote controller realizes network access by accessing a backbone network access point, and the module is not required, so that the module is indicated by a dashed line.
In this embodiment, the control gateway 305 is an important component for implementing the present invention in any implementation manner, and not only connects the backbone network and the control network in the home network, but also implements a function of protocol conversion between the backbone network and the control network. Moreover, when the remote control terminal is in the backbone network and needs to control the equipment in the control network; or when the remote control terminal is in a state that the control network is to control the equipment in the backbone network; or the remote control terminal is directly connected with the control gateway, and the control gateway plays a role in explaining and forwarding the remote control information when controlling the backbone network and the equipment in the control network. In short, when the remote control terminal and the remote controlled device are not in the same area network, such as not in the backbone network and not in the control network, the situations inevitably exist, the control gateway interprets and forwards the remote control information sent by the remote control terminal to the receiving feedback unit in the remote controlled device through the home network, and interprets and forwards the state information of the remote controlled device sent by the receiving feedback unit to the remote control terminal. In addition, the present embodiment provides an interpretation module in the control gateway 305, which realizes the conversion between the remote control code of the remote control terminal and the information recognized by the remote control device.

The key module 711 may also be a common key and circuit, and can be used to extract the same keys of various devices to be remotely controlled and set on the remote controller to adapt to common usage habits, and the other keys are still displayed by the display module. Also included is a state storage module 701 that stores control codes for various controlled devices. And a wireless communication module 703, which in this embodiment is an 802.11 wireless network card with a cf (compact flash) type slot, and may also be a wireless network card with a USB interface or a bluetooth wireless network card. Which can emit radio waves carrying a certain code to remotely control all the remotely controlled devices on the home network by wireless communication with a backbone network wireless access point 302 in the backbone network, here an AP. And simultaneously, receiving and displaying the states of the devices transmitted by the home network.
In this embodiment, when the remote controller 301 remotely controls a remote controlled device on the backbone network: the remote control information is connected to a home network through a backbone network wireless access point 302, a feedback point is received through software to control a remote controlled device 303, the state information of the remote controlled device 303 is returned to the backbone network wireless access point 302, and finally the state information is sent to a remote controller 301.
When the remote controller 301 remotely controls the remotely controlled device 310 on the control network: the remote control information is connected to a home network through a backbone network wireless access point 302 and is communicated with a control gateway 305 which is also connected to the network, the control gateway 305 controls a remote controlled device 310 through a receiving feedback circuit 311, and returns the state information of the remote controlled device 310 to the backbone network wireless access point 302 and finally sends the state information to a remote controller 301.

The remote controller 501 and the control network wireless access module 506 in this embodiment are similar to the wireless direct connection module in the remote controller and the control gateway in the embodiment shown in fig. 4. However, since the control network wireless access module 506 in this embodiment is connected to the control network, the transmitted data is protocol data in a format specific to the control network, such as CEBus, and the data remote control 501 in this format cannot directly receive the data. Therefore, a data format conversion module 132 is added to the remote controller 501 or the control network wireless access module 506, as shown in fig. 12, fig. 12 is a schematic diagram of the remote controller and the control network wireless access module when the interactive network remote control system of the present invention performs remote control through the control network. That is, in the embodiment, the remote controller 501 controls all the devices to be remotely controlled in the home network by performing wireless information communication between the remote controller 501 and the wireless direct connection module 133 in the control network wireless access module 506. If the module is added to the remote controller 510, protocol data in a specific format of a control network such as CEBus is transmitted and received between the wireless direct connection modules 133; if the module is added to the control network wireless access module 506, data that can be directly transmitted and received by the remote controller 501 is transmitted and received between the wireless direct connection modules 133, and both methods are possible.
In the above three embodiments, in the first embodiment, the remote controller does not even need to communicate with the control gateway to directly control each device, so that the control of each device on the backbone network is very convenient, but the control of each device on the control network is slightly poor; in the third mode, the remote controller can even directly control each device without communicating with the control gateway, so that the control of each device on the control network is very convenient, but the control of each device on the backbone network is slightly poor; the second mode integrates the characteristics of the first mode and the third mode, and is a compromise scheme.
When the home network access module is a computer network card connected to the internet and the remote control terminal is a remote computer or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of remote control through the internet in the interactive network remote control system of the present invention. The remote computer or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)610 remotely logs in to the internet 612 through a public network router 611, and then logs in to the home network through a router or a home gateway 613, so as to remotely control the remotely controlled device connected to the home network.
It can be seen from the above embodiments that the interactive network remote control system and the intelligent wireless remote controller of the present invention implement information interaction between the remote controller and each controlled device in the home network. Theoretically, all the electric appliances in the home can be controlled in a unified way by one remote controller, so that the operation of the electric appliances is simpler, more convenient and more random. Meanwhile, the remote controller controls the wireless access network, so that the direction requirement that the traditional remote controller is over against the remote-controlled equipment is eliminated. The control gateway is adopted, a new protocol is not required to be created by interaction of each device and the remote controller, and the remote controller is simple to realize. The system is very stable, reliable and safe.
