技术领域
本发明涉及一种连接器的径向扩张方法,用于将一第一管与一第二管互相连接在一起,该连接器具有伸入一销盒件内的一插销件。
背景技术
径向扩张的管状元件可适用于多种应用场合,例如使用井筒从岩层中开采烃类流体。举例来说,人们已试图对井筒套管进行扩张,以获得比常规井筒结构更大的孔底井筒直径,其中,若干套管被设置成嵌套布置的形式。这种嵌套布置是根据钻孔程序得出的,由此,对于每一新钻孔区间而言,需通过先前已钻好并加套的区间放下一新套管,因此,该新套管的外径必须小于先前已安装套管的内径。这种情况通过如下方式已有所改进,即对通过先前已安装套管放下之后的新套管进行径向扩张,由此,新套管中产生塑性变形。扩张套管允许一直径较大的钻头通过其中的通道,从而能够以比常规状况下更大的直径进一步对井筒进行钻孔。然后,通过先前已装好并扩张的套管放下另一套管,之后再进行扩张,依此类推。
一扩张管状元件的端部,如一连接器的插销件端部,因施加于插销件壁面上的周向应变的作用,而在轴向有收缩的趋势。施加于内表面上的周向应变大于施加于外表面上的周向应变。考虑到内表面上的周向应变为ΔD/Di,而外表面上的周向应变为ΔD/Do,并且Di小于Do,上述结论是可以理解的。此处Di为插销件的内径,Do为插销件的外径,ΔD为因扩张过程而发生的直径变化值。由于内表面上的周向应变大于外表面上的周向应变,所以内表面的收缩趋势要比外表面大,这导致插销件趋于向内径向弯曲。考虑到几何约束的因素,远离插销件端部的区域不会出现径向弯曲现象。但是,如果不采用正确的测量器,插销件的端部确实要向内径向弯曲。当然,销盒件的端部同样具有向内径向弯曲的趋势。不过,销盒件端部向内弯曲的问题要比插销件向内弯曲的问题小,原因在于,后一现象引起了管状元件的内加厚现象。因此,可以理解,在许多扩张管的应用中,这种插销件沿径向向内弯曲的情况属于一种缺陷。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的在于,提供一种径向扩张管状连接器的改进方法,该方法克服了上述缺陷。
本发明提供了一种连接器的径向扩张方法,用于将一第一管与一第二管互相连接在一起。该连接器具有伸入一销盒件内的一插销件。插销件和销盒件设有协同操作的支撑装置,用以支撑插销件,从而阻止插销件的所述端部相对于销盒件沿径向向内移动。该方法包括:
-径向扩展连接器;以及
-支撑插销件,从而阻止插销件的所述端部相对于销盒件沿径向向内移动。
通过相对于销盒件对插销件进行支撑,得以实现阻止插销件相对于销盒件沿径向向内移动。
在一合适的实施方式中,对插销件进行支撑,从而防止在连接器径向扩张过程中或之后发生向内径向移动。
由于插销件在扩张过程中或之后被阻止向内弯曲,插销件保持在弹性变形状态,并因此保持着向内弯曲的趋势。为了防止插销件因其相对于销盒件的径向位移而产生的上述向内弯曲,支撑装置优选地具有至少一个基本沿连接器的轴向延伸的支撑表面,各支撑表面设于插销件和销盒件之一上。从而达到了轴向支撑表面可防止发生不顾插销件相对于销盒件的轴向位置而向内弯曲的效果。
作为一合适的实施方式,支撑表面通过在插销件和销盒件之一上设一凹槽形成,而插销件和销盒件中的另外一个伸入所述凹槽中。
作为一优选实施方式,支撑装置具有一设于插销件上的第一所述支撑表面,以及一设于销盒件上的第二所述支撑表面,第一支撑表面由第二支撑表面所支撑。
为了在插销件和销盒件之间实现一种金属对金属的密封状态,作为一优选实施方式,第一和第二支撑表面因连接器的径向扩张而彼此压靠在一起。

具体实施方式
参照图1,图中示出一具有纵轴线2的管状元件1,该管状元件因径向扩张而产生了弹性和塑性变形。元件1具有一端部3,该端部上具有一位于其内表面的点4和一位于其外表面的点6,并且点4、6位于轴向位置Z处。点4位于端部3的内径8上,而点6位于端部3的外径10上。如果对管状元件1的壁厚因扩张过程而发生的任何变化忽略不计,则内径8的大小为Di+ΔD,外径10的大小为Do+ΔD,其中
DI=扩张前管状元件的内径;
Do=扩张前管状元件的外径;
ΔD=因扩张过程而产生的管状元件的内、外径的增加值。
径向扩张过程在管状元件1的壁材上形成了正的周向应变(亦称为周向变形)。由于壁材的体积在变形过程中基本上保持不变,从而导致壁材的径向和/或轴向产生负应变。点4处因扩张而产生的周向应变为ΔD/Di,而点6处因扩张而产生的周向应变为ΔD/Do。由于Do大于Di,可以得出,点4处的周向应变大于点6处的周向应变。因此,在径向和/或轴向上,壁材的内表面要比外表面承受更大的负应变。内表面上较大的轴向负应变使端部3的壁面向内径向弯曲,如图1所示。考虑到管状元件1的几何约束因素,在远离端部3的区域,管状元件1的壁不会出现径向向内弯曲现象。在这些区域中,内表面上较大的周向应变由内表面上的径向负应变相抵消,该内表面径向负应变大于外表面上的负应变。
参照图2和3,图中示出一具有纵轴线17的管16,该管由一第一管状元件18和一第二管状元件20组成。管状元件18、20彼此通过一插销/销盒式连接器24相连,连接器具有一作为第一管状元件18端部的插销件26,以及一作为第二管状元件20端部的销盒件28。插销件26和销盒件28各具有锥形的接触表面30、32。插销件26具有一凸出部分34,该突出部分伸入销盒件28上设置的一凹槽内,该凹槽为销盒件的一径向延伸表面38上设置的环形槽36。通过这种装置,就插销件26相对于销盒件28的径向位移而言,插销件26相对于销盒件28被锁住。
在正常操作过程中,例如借助于拉或泵送一扩张器通过管16使其被径向扩张。如参照图1所描述的一样,作为管状元件18端部的插销件26,和作为管状构元件20端部的销盒件28将因扩张过程而趋于向内径向弯曲。但是,利用锁入销盒件28的环形槽36内的插销件26的凸出部分34,插销件26被阻止向内径向弯曲。从而,插销件26与管16的内表面保持平齐。
另外,由于插销件26向内径向弯曲的趋势将凸出部分34牢固地推靠在环形槽36的壁面上,所以在凸出部分34和环形槽36的壁面之间获得了一种金属对金属的密封状态。
另外,由于插销件26向内径向弯曲的趋势,以及环形槽36对这种径向向内弯曲的阻止作用,在各接触表面30、32之间有可能获得第二金属对金属的密封状态。
同样,由于销盒件28向内径向弯曲的趋势,以及插销件26对这种径向向内弯曲的阻止作用,在接近销盒件28尖端的各接触表面30、32之间获得了第三金属对金属的密封状态。
为了增加连接器24的保持力,以及进一步减小插销件26向内径向弯曲的趋势,可在插销件26和销盒件28之间涂一层粘结剂(例如一种环氧树脂基粘结剂),从而将插销件和销盒件彼此粘结在一起。
扩张管可为一种伸入用于开采烃类流体的井筒内的管道,例如一种井筒套管或一种生产油管。

Claims (12)

1.一种连接器的径向扩张方法,用于将一第一管与一第二管互相连接在一起,所述连接器包括伸入一销盒件内的一插销件,所述插销件和销盒件设有协同配合的支撑装置,用以支撑插销件,从而阻止插销件的所述端部相对于销盒件沿径向向内移动,该方法包括:
-径向扩张该连接器;以及
-支撑插销件,从而阻止插销件的所述端部相对于销盒件沿径向向内移动。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,对所述插销件进行支撑,从而防止在连接器径向扩张过程中或之后的径向向内移动。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述支撑装置包括至少一个沿连接器的基本上轴向的方向延伸的支撑表面,各支撑表面设于所述插销件和销盒件之一上。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述支撑表面由一设于所述插销件和销盒件之一内的凹槽构成,其中所述插销件和销盒件中的另外一个伸入所述凹槽内。
5.根据权利要求3或4所述的方法,其特征在于,所述支撑装置包括一设于所述插销件上的第一所述支撑表面,和一设于所述销盒件上的第二所述支撑表面,所述第一支撑表面由第二支撑表面支撑。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述第一和第二支撑表面因所述连接器的径向扩张而彼此压靠在一起。
7.根据权利要求4-6之一所述的方法,其特征在于,所述凹槽形成于所述销盒件内,其中所述插销件伸入所述凹槽内。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,所述凹槽为一设于所述销盒件径向延伸表面内的环形槽。
9.根据权利要求2-8之一所述的方法,其特征在于,所述支撑装置包括一层设于所述插销件和销盒件之间的粘结剂,以将所述插销件和销盒件彼此粘结在一起。
10.根据权利要求2-9之一所述的方法,其特征在于,所述连接器为伸入一井筒内的一径向扩张的管状元件的一部分。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,所述连接器为一径向扩张的井筒套管的一部分。
12.基本上如上文所述并参照附图所描述的径向扩张管状元件。
