Abstract

As soon as the video signal of an event is recorded, it is digitized and sent to a location remote from the event. The digitized video includes a timestamp marking when the video frame was recorded. Individuals watching the event, but likely not participating in the video recording, each enter a text or other type of message into their mobile terminal, which in turn sends it to a remote location. The text message and the portion of the digitized video signal corresponding in time to the message are automatically tagged and placed into a file. The files and video segments are available with little delay in interactive applications with others.
