Description

Mobile payment method and system thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to a mobile payment method and a system thereof, in particular to a method and a system which are applicable to all types of mobile communication terminals (such as mobile phones and the like) and provide mobile payment through a mobile financial service transaction center.
Background
Mobile communication has entered the major development stage since the 90 s of the 20 th century, and the number of global users doubles every 20 months; the number of users around the world has currently exceeded 7 billion, with an estimated 10 billion breakthrough in the end of 2001. Mobile users in China are also growing at a high speed, and the time is 10 years from the beginning of development to 1000 thousands of users; the first quarter in 2001 has become a second country which breaks through 1 hundred million customs in the world, from 1000 ten thousand households to 1 second household, only takes less than 4 years, and creates the best world. Recent statistics show that at the end of 7 months in 2001, mobile communication users in China reach 1.206 hundred million households, which exceed 1.201 hundred million households in the United states, and jump the world first. With the development of mobile communication, wireless communication is increasingly emphasized, the status thereof becomes more important, and the application thereof is also more and more extensive.
While the mobile communication voice Service continues to keep developing, the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) proposed by china mobile is a significant representative of the second generation mobile communication system for meeting the requirements of IP and high-speed data services, and will also become the main Service feature of the third generation mobile communication system. GPRS is a new bearer service developed on the existing Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), and aims to provide packet-based data services for GSM users. GPRS uses the same radio modulation standard, the same frequency band, the same burst structure, the same frequency hopping rule, and the same Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) frame structure as GSM. This new packet data channel is very similar to the current circuit switched voice traffic channel, so that the existing Base Station Subsystem (BSS) can provide full GPRS coverage from the beginning. GPRS allows users to send and receive data in end-to-end packet transfer mode without utilizing circuit-switched mode network resources. Thereby providing an efficient, low-cost wireless packet data service. The method is particularly suitable for intermittent, burst and frequent small-amount data transmission and is also suitable for occasional large-amount data transmission.
GPRS technology can be very well adapted to: information notification-E-mail and wireless E-mail, personal transactions, information services, banking, E-commerce, vending machine reporting, and prepaid data services.
The Chinese financial system in the 20 th century mainly provides simple deposit, credit and remittance services for industrial and commercial enterprises, continuously deduces new financial varieties and financial tools on the basis of the traditional business, breaks through the traditional manual operation and basically realizes the financial electronization.
The Chinese financial system in the 21 st century will further realize financial globalization along with the integration of the world economy. With the addition of WTO in China, the mixed financial management of China is promoted; financial innovation is related to the survival and development of the Chinese financial industry, so that the way of the mutual contact between a bank and a client is changed, and the service way, the product promotion way and the transaction processing way of the bank are also changed; electronic money will be developed rapidly and is well-behaved in network transactions and electronic transactions; informatization, modernization and internationalization of financial supervision become important means for central banks to maintain financial order, standardize financial markets and prevent financial risks; the operation idea of the bank is fundamentally changed, and the bank obtains income mainly by relying on credit and interest difference and turns to obtain benefit by providing high-quality financial service for customers; banks do not simply pursue point-spread type extension expansion, but pay more attention to and rely on modern information technology and network environment to provide brand-new, more convenient and thoughtful financial services.
The mobile phone payment prospect is wide as a product of combining currency electronization and mobile communication business and a business of mobile phone banking. It is expected that by 2003, the global mobile financial services revenue will reach 200 billion euros, with european regions likely reaching around 47 billion euros. Compared with the internet banking, the mobile phone banking has wider potential customer groups and is better in safety and real-time performance. Particularly, in the actual situation of China, due to the particularity of the Chinese situation, the bank card is not popularized, so that the mobile phone payment system is believed to be an important component in China and even play a leading role in the micropayment market.
The popularity of cell phones is temporarily less than that of bank cards in absolute quantities. According to the existing data statistics, the total number of card issuing is more than 2.77 hundred million by 55 card issuing financial institutions in China in the end of 2000 years. On the aspect of mobile phones, as the year 2001, China mobile users have more than one hundred million, China Unicom users reach 1489 million, and the total amount of the users is less than half of the number of issued bank cards. However, if the problem is found to be not so simple if the analysis is carried out carefully, firstly, the repetition rate of the bank card is high, it is quite common that one person owns two or even more cards, if the calculation is not repeated, the number of bank card users is greatly reduced, and the situation that one person owns two mobile phones is rare, so that the data of the number of about one hundred million or two million of mobile phone users has little moisture. Secondly, the bank card which is greatly shrunk can be used for online payment, and is only a small part. At present, the bank cards supporting online payment nationwide at the B2C website MY8848 which is the largest at home only comprise six cards, namely a peony credit card of a commercial bank, a one-network communication of a tenderer bank, an electronic debit card of a great wall of the middle bank, a RMB credit card of the great wall of the middle bank, a Guangdong-developed bank wide-issue credit card and a Guangdong-developed bank wide-issue financing communication card, and all card issuing institutions have 55 cards, and the card issuing types are hundreds of types, the proportion is small, and the cards can be seen in a spot. Based on the above two points, it is reasonable to believe that the number of bank cards that can be used for online payment is far smaller than the owned number of mobile phones.
The existing bank card has a gold card project for solving the problem that the cards of 55 card issuing organizations are not compatible with each other. However, as far as the current situation is concerned, the progress is still not satisfactory, so e-commerce websites such as MY8848 have to support a large number of bank cards simultaneously, which is a complex problem for the whole payment system, both in terms of cost, difficulty and complexity. The problem is much simpler if a mobile phone is used as a means of payment on the internet. The existing mobile phone service providers in China are only two families of China Mobile and China Unicom, and do not seem to increase in a short term. Thus, for the e-commerce website, only two parties of China Mobile and China Union are coordinated, and the complexity is much lower than that of 55 bank cards. If the current huge market share of China Mobile is considered, almost the vast majority of mobile phone users can be covered by coordinating China Mobile alone, the whole problem is simpler, which is a good thing for e-commerce websites, and the difficulty in establishing a payment system is greatly reduced; the method is good for consumers, a large pile of cards do not need to be prepared, even one card is specially applied to deal with different payment systems of different websites, and the online consumption is greatly facilitated.
Any online payment method is costly, which means that the online payment system will charge a certain amount for each online payment of the e-commerce website, and although the current information does not disclose how much proportion of the amount is charged by the bank in the current online payment system, the cost is not low from the perspective of 3% commission of the past credit card, which is a little influence on the profit of the e-commerce website. The cost of mobile phone payment is much lower, so that the mobile phone payment has a huge cost advantage.
The existing mobile phone payment can be realized only by that a mobile phone user purchases an STK card with the communication capability with a mobile phone banking system, or a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM card for short) in a common mobile phone is replaced by a Subscriber Identity Module (SIMToolkit for short) with the communication capability with the mobile phone banking system; by adopting the method, the cost and complexity of mobile phone payment for general mobile phone users are obviously increased.
