Abstract

固定夹
技术领域
本发明涉及固定夹,尤其涉及用于固定诸如通过计算机的壳体中的孔安装的电连接器的固定夹,所述计算机包括服务器或者其它电子装置。
背景技术
为了在计算机的壳体中的孔中的位置上保持电连接器(例如数据连接器),公知的是使用一对C形夹,所述C形夹邻接在壳体的表面上并与凸起超出所述孔的电连接器部分的端部之一连接。美国专利No.6,513,206描述了一种可选的固定夹,并结合图1中所示的传统电连接器进行说明。固定夹包括单面元件1,所述单面元件1具有用于接纳电连接器3的自由端的孔2和锁定翼片4、5。锁定翼片4、5被安置以通过箭头A方向的滑动运动与设置在电连接器上的下凹表面相接合。
发明内容
本发明用于提供对现有固定夹的改进,尤其提供有助于连接器形成其一部分的电子装置的屏蔽的固定夹。
根据本发明,提供一种固定夹,用于固定将通过面板上形成的开口插入的电连接器,所述固定夹包括:
基部,所述基部具有孔,通过所述孔用于容纳电连接器的自由端,并具有用于与电连接器接合并保持电连接器的一个或者多个接合装置,所述基部的形状用于接触其重叠的面板的表面的至少一部分;以及
多个指状件,从基部延伸离开的所述多个指状件可移动,以允许匹配连接器插入并接触匹配连接器的表面,由此所述夹相对所述面板屏蔽匹配连接器的表面,
其中所述接合装置包括一个或者更多个锁定翼片,所述翼片突出到所述固定夹的孔中,
其中在所述孔容纳所述电连接器的自由端的状态下、所述一个或者更多个锁定翼片用沿着所述面板的表面移动的固定夹而与所述电连接器可接合;以及
其中每个所述指状件具有大体上垂直于所述基部延伸的第一部分。
这样,使用本发明,所述固定夹提供了额外的电磁屏蔽功能。

具体实施方式
如图1-3所示,固定夹10包括具有开口或者孔12的基部11,所述孔的形状用于容纳电连接器的自由端。基部11用于接触诸如基部放在其上的用于电子装置(例如计算机)的壳体的外表面的一部分,并相对壳体将所述夹接地。因此,在壳体的面板是平面时,基部也相似地为平面。一对锁定翼片13、14形式的接合装置横过所述孔12的一端部分凸起,所述一对锁定翼片13、14优选地与基部11一体形成。锁定翼片13、14的形状用于接合设置在传统电连接器上的定位凹槽。锁定翼片13、14与电连接器上的定位凹槽的连接通过固定夹10相对电连接器的侧向运动实现。
自基部11向上延伸的是多个形成盒状的壁的弹性指状件,所述盒用于容纳传统电连接器的自由端。自其相邻以窄槽16分离的各指状件15包括第一和第二部分17、18。第一部分17大体垂直于基部11而延伸,同时第二部分18画出弧状,所述弧状沿第一部分17至其自由端的方向,首先弯曲到孔12之上的区域中,然后离开所述区域。这样,各弧部分18的弯曲部分作为与电连接器的自由端的接触表面。所述指状件15沿着所述夹的长侧并横过所述夹的各端延伸。在固定夹的短端包括指状件是可选的。
各指状件15可以移动以允许电连接器通过,同时也用于与连接器的表面相接触。优选地,所述指状件朝紧靠孔12之上的体积偏压,但是在接触电连接器时具有足够弹性,单个指状件能够往外屈曲以允许连接器通过。各指状件的弧形部分18的结果是,一旦连接器锁定在位,在电连接器插入孔12中时所述指状件与电连接器接触,并且即使在不规则连接器形状的表面之上也能够保持接触。各指状件15的宽度和其长度根据由指状件施加到电连接器的力进行选择。所述固定夹10的指状件15用于将电连接器横过较宽的区域将电连接器接地,在基部11将壳体接触到电子装置时,固定夹用于将电连接器相对壳体接地。这样,指状件15用于电磁屏蔽以防止电子装置的电磁辐射的逃逸,电连接器形成所述电子装置的一部分并屏蔽外部电磁辐射。
提供电磁屏蔽的两个固定夹10的性能使用标准的电磁兼容性腔(emcchamber)进行了测试,下述是获得的结果。

在图5-7中,说明了替换版本的固定夹。此替换版本的固定夹与图2-4中的固定夹非常类似,并且相似的附图标记用于指示相似的元件。两个版本的固定夹的主要差异在于包括多个槽19’,所述多个槽19’切割到基部11’中,每个槽19’延伸到各弹性指状件15’的第一部分17’中。这些槽截断固定夹10的第一版本中的连续基部。这样,在此替换的版本中,基部11’包括多个围绕孔12’的分离段,指状件15’作为桥接元件以将基部11’的分离段保持在一起。
对于上述的两种版本的固定夹,所述夹10优选地由单金属薄片制造,所述金属薄片通过压力机的冲压而切割并折叠为所需的形状。此简单的结构极大地有助于使得制造成本最小化。
参照图8-10,说明了另外一个版本的固定夹。固定夹的另外一个版本与图2-4中的固定夹相似,相似的附图标记用于指示相似的特征。两个版本之间的差异将在后面进行说明。
在第一实施例中,各指状件15通过窄槽16自其相邻的部件分离。另一方面,此版本中自基部11”的相对短侧延伸的每个弹性可变形扁平板15”没有槽,如图8中所示。因此,各扁平板15”弹性小于第一实施例中的各指状件15,并与第一实施例中的各指状件15相比不容易变形。
此版本中的固定夹10”、插头连接器21、面板31之间的机械关系将参照图9和10进行说明。
固定夹10”被固定到面板31的孔32中,如图9所示。在图9中,插头连接器21还没有插入固定夹10”。
在图10中,插头连接器21被插入固定夹10”。
在此状态中,插头连接器21将力F1、F2沿箭头方向分别施加到各扁平板15”。然后,力F3、F4、F5、F6分别沿箭头方向在固定夹11”的四点A、B、C、D上产生。力F3、F4通过固定夹10”施加以推动面板31。力F5、F6通过固定夹10”施加以推动插头连接器21。在力F1、F2、F3、F4、F5和F6的作用下,插头连接器21、固定夹10”、面板31和容器连接器41电连接并接地。
参照图11、12,固定所述固定夹10的结构将在下面详细说明。
在图12中,屏蔽盖42从容器连接器41的上表面被连接到容器连接器41。衬垫43自容器连接器41的前表面固定到容器连接器41。此后,容器连接器41自面板31的后表面被插入到面板31的孔32中。在图11所示的状态中,插头连接器21被插入固定夹10。
这样,根据本发明的固定夹提供了一种锁定机构,用于在插入到诸如计算机的电子装置的壳体中的孔时保持电连接器在位,并以及通过将电连接器的较宽表面区域接地到所述壳体的外表面而提供电磁屏蔽。
对上述固定夹的改变可以在部背离本发明的精神的情况下预见,其范围受所附权利要求限制。

Claims (6)

1.一种固定夹,用于固定将通过面板上形成的开口插入的电连接器,所述固定夹包括:
基部,所述基部具有孔,通过所述孔用于容纳电连接器的自由端,并具有用于与电连接器接合并保持电连接器的一个或者多个接合装置,所述基部的形状用于接触其重叠的面板的表面的至少一部分;以及
多个指状件,从基部延伸离开的所述多个指状件可移动,以允许匹配连接器插入并接触匹配连接器的表面,由此所述夹相对所述面板屏蔽匹配连接器的表面,
其中所述接合装置包括一个或者更多个锁定翼片,所述翼片突出到所述固定夹的孔中,
其中在所述孔容纳所述电连接器的自由端的状态下、所述一个或者更多个锁定翼片用沿着所述面板的表面移动的固定夹而与所述电连接器可接合;以及
其中每个所述指状件具有大体上垂直于所述基部延伸的第一部分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的固定夹,其特征在于,所述基部大体是平面的。
3.根据权利要求1所述的固定夹,其特征在于,所述基部包括多个段,所述段通过各桥接元件围绕所述夹中的孔而保持在位。
4.根据权利要求3所述的固定夹,其特征在于,一个或者多个指状件包括桥接元件。
5.根据权利要求1所述的固定夹,其特征在于,多个指状件被朝向所述夹的孔之上的体积偏压。
6.根据权利要求1所述的固定夹,其特征在于,所述基部具有矩形形状,单个扁平板延伸离开矩形形状的每个相对短边。
