Abstract

A microwave oven has an inner casing forming a cooking chamber and an outer casing enclosing the inner casing. The inner casing has discharge holes for discharging gas in the cooking chamber. A guide member is installed between the inner casing and the outer casing for providing discharge passage to gas discharged from the discharge holes. A discharge guide member having an opening is formed on the outer casing for discharging the gas and assembled with the outer casing or the guide member. The guide member is pushed to maintain the connection with the inner casing. Because the discharge guide member is integrated with the outer casing or the guide member and the guide member is supported by the outer casing, so the number of the components of the microwave oven is reduced and the manufacturing process is simplified.
