Abstract

Description
对于许多小设备的用户,例如电话、传真机、微型计算机等的用户,文字和/或数字和/或特殊字符的输入常常非常困难。例如在移动电话或无绳电话中,文字符号的输入一般通过多次按下数字键来实现,其中分布在这些数字键上的ASCII字符是(例如由ITU)标准化的。特殊字符例如分布在键“0”、“1”、“*”或“#”上或者挂在ASCII字符后。键上还能分布多个字符,例如键“3”上分布着字符序列{DEF3......}。在预先规定的时间间隔内或者(例如由用户或由服务技术人员〕可调整的时间间隔内(典型为800ms),一次或二次或三次等按这个键,实现输入字符D、E或F等。
代替多次按键,一个长时间按键可以在“自动滚动”方法中随时改变字符。另一个方案基于光标键,使用这种键可以从一般线性排列的字母表中或从另一个字符设备中选出相应字符。
在输入文字(例如在短消息业务中〕或在输入名称(通信终端的电子电话本)时,大小写转换(或相反)经常会引起问题。在大部分移动电话中,在大小写间的转换(Shift键功能)使用下面方法解决:
在第一个已知解决方案中,通过所谓的软键(Softkey)或一个贡献(dedizerten)键实现转换,那么这个转换大部分是持久的,相应的比方说PC键盘中Caps_lock键。因为大多数仅较少的字符、一般为词的第一个字母才大写输入,所以Caps-lock这种形式的用户友好性差。在另一个公开的方法中,使用一个长时间按键,实现了从大写到小写的转换输入。这个方案与经常性的错误输入有联系。第三个公开的方案在小写字母后以多次分布形式挂着大写字母,这将导致很长时间的输入过程。
这里本发明争取达到对下列目标的改善:在所说的情况中尽可能很简单地设计字符输入并且特别是从大写到小写的转换(或反向)。这个任务通过具有根据权利要求1特征的设备实现。
在操作元件上分布一个或几个字符的这种设备中,当第一个操作元件(BE1)在预先规定的时间间隔内或可调节的时间间隔内被操作一次时,第一个操作元件(BE1)的操作引起接下来将按下的第二个操作元件(BE2)的字符分布选择。当它在这个时间间隔内操作超过一次或长时间按下时,此第一个操作元件(BE1)起字符输入键作用。
因此根据本发明的用户能够以十分舒适和易学的方式输入文字字符和其他字符,并且这时可以不费力地在大小写间转换。
本发明的另外的优点在从属权利要求中得出。
接下来,根据优选的实施例详细说明本发明。
根据本发明的设备至少具有第一个操作元件(例如“*”键),当在一个预先给定的时间间隔内或可调节的时间间隔内操作第一个操作元件(BE1)时,对它的操作导致接下来将要按下的第二个操作元件(BE2)的字符分布选择。当第一个操作元件在这个时间间隔内操作超过一次,那么此第一个操作元件(BE1)(习惯上)起字符输入键作用。
在本发明优选的实施例中,假如下一个输入的字符可以大写,“*”键的一次按下实现了下一个字符的大写输入。这一般仅适用于文字字符(字母);“β”是一个例外。两次或多次按下“*”键(在时间间隔内)实现了例如“*”、“/”、“(”等字符的输入。因为对于这些字符(特殊字符)没有定义大写(并且不需要),排除了与此相关的问题。
本发明的基本思想在于共用一个字符输入键作为选择或切换键(Shiftkey)。因此,不必需一个贡献键并节省相应的位置。通过时间测量直到下一个键的操作位置为止来实现这种思想。错误的操作一次“*”键,可以通过接下来对该键的再次操作重新使之无效。
Claims (6)
1.一个电输入装置,含有:
多个输入键,用于选择性地输入文字数字字符和特殊的字符;
所述的多个输入键含有一第一操作元件以及具有其上标记有一组字符的至少一第二操作元件;
所述的第一操作元件,当在给定的时间间隔内被操作一次时,影响对所述的第二操作元件分配的字符组的选择;和
所述的第一操作元件,当在给定的时间间隔内被操作超过一次时,起字符输入键作用。
2.根据权利要求1的装置,其中该给定的时间间隔是可调节的。
3.根据权利要求1的装置,其中该规定的时间间隔是预先规定的时间间隔。
4.根据权利要求1的装置,其中所述的第一操作元件是一个触发键,其在被操作时,将所述的第二操作元件后来的操作在给定的时间间隔内设置到一给定的字符组。
5.根据权利要求1的装置,其中所述的第一操作元件是一个转换键,其在被操作时,将所述的第二操作元件后来的操作设置为代替小写字母的大写字母。
6.根据权利要求4的装置,其中所述的第二操作元件在该给定时间间隔内的单个或者多个的操作影响了字符的输入,并且根据所述的操作元件在该给定的时间间隔被操作的次数,从分配给所述的操作元件的字符组中选出的不同的字符被输入。
