Abstract
本发明涉及一种乘车人束护系统用的压缩气体存储装置,该装置的存储容器(1)有一内腔(3),其中含有在高压下存储的气体,其特征在于,内腔(3)的内壁表面有一层由具有很高的比表面面积的材料构成的涂层。
Description
本发明涉及一种乘车人束护系统用的压缩气体存储装置,该装置的存储容器有一内腔,其中含有在高压下存储的气体。
压缩气体存储装置,特别是乘车人束护系统的气袋膨胀用的这种装置,是在应急时由少量烟火药的作用打开的,为的是使存储在存储容器内的气体跑出并引起气袋的胀开。就这方面而言,气袋必须在极短的时间内完全胀开,要求气体具有高压力以便快速充满气袋,并且这种气体压力必须维持到胀开的最终阶段。如果气体压力只是在开始时高,那末它反而会成为初始胀开部分的障碍,这样就不能保证气袋完全被胀开。
本发明的目的是要提供一种压缩气体存储装置,在该装置内,体积不改变就可存储大量的气体,以致在胀开操作的最终阶段,仍有足够的气体可使气袋完全胀开。在上述型式的压缩气体存储装置中,本发明所以能做到这一点是因为在内腔的内表面有一个由具有很高的比表面面积(即单位重量的表面面积)的材料构成的涂层。最好,该材料具有的比表面面积在200到400m2/g的范围内。在本发明的一个特优的实施例中,所说材料为一种氧化物或分子筛,并且最好为沸石。
从下面结合附图对较优实施例所作说明可知本发明的另外一些特点和优点。
图1示出按照本发明的作为气袋组件一部分的压缩气体存储装置的纵向剖面。
图2为随着时间而变的腔内压力的曲线图。
图3为随着时间而变的从内腔出来的物质流的曲线图。
图1示出的压缩气体存储装置用来使成为完整气袋组件一部分的、在图上未示出的气袋膨胀。在存储容器1的内部有一内腔3,其内装有惰性气体如氩、氦或空气。但也可应用工业用的其他气体或气体混合物。气体是在超过200巴的压力下存储在内腔3内的。设在前面的装料端5与排放端7遥遥相对。有一点燃单元9从排放端伸入到内腔3内。点燃单元9装有烟火药,只要发信号给它便可及时点燃。在排放端7的端壁11上设有多个均匀分布在周边上的排放孔13,这些排放孔在单元9的未操作的状态下被壁15与内腔3隔开。在点燃单元9的连接销17上装有从端壁11伸出的扩散障壁19,其上开有多个排放孔21。这个存储容器1的障壁19伸入到在图上没有示出的气袋内,存储容器1和气袋组成气袋组件。
内腔3的内壁表面有一个由具有很高的比表面面积的材料最好为沸石构成的涂层23,这种材料的比表面面积最好在200到400m2/g的范围内。作为具有高比表面面积的材料,其他氧化物或分子筛也可应用。这种材料的比表面面积也可大于400m2/g。
下面说明本发明的压缩气体存储装置的操作方式。
由于敷设在内腔3的内壁表面上的涂层23作用在气体分子上的粘合力或吸附力,使它有可能将引入到内腔内的气体浓集到涂层的表面上一直到达到液体状态为止。因此对于同样大小的内腔3的容积,有可能存储数量更多的气体。在应急时装在点燃单元9内的烟火药被点燃以致添加的气体都往内腔3的内部流,于是腔3内的压力便急剧增加致使壁15破裂,这时气体便通过扩散障壁19并经排放孔21流到气袋内。随着腔内压力的降低,涂层23就将吸附在其表面上的气体释出,这样在胀开操作的最终阶段,这些添加的气体就能供上使气袋完全胀开。
图2图解地示出腔3内压力随着时间(t)而变化的情况。如上所述,紧接着烟火药的爆发,腔内压力会急剧升高,而在壁15破裂后,又会急剧下落。但在压缩气体存储装置未设涂层时,压力的下落要比本发明的压缩气体存储装置急剧得多,并且腔内压力更快降落到接近周围压力。因此在气袋胀开的最终阶段,按照本发明的压缩气体存储装置的腔内压力要比迄今已知的压缩气体存储装置来得高。
从内腔出来的物质流随着时间而变化的情况同这个差不多,并在图3中图解地示出。烟火药的爆发首先引起腔内气体数量的增加,而在壁15破裂后气体就流到气袋内并使它胀开。但由于气体被吸附在涂层23上,气体的释放在时间上被延迟,因此在胀开操作的最终阶段,能够有比通常的压缩空气存储装置更多数量的气体供应。
另外,采用本发明的压缩气体存储装置,环境温度对胀开操作较少影响,因为涂层23可起到蓄能器的作用,温度的变化较易得到补偿。
在制造本发明的压缩气体存储装置时,内腔3可用所需沸石的稀浆涂敷,然后在约500到600℃干燥。最好在用来涂敷的具有高比表面面积的材料的悬浮液中加入粘结剂再涂敷,然后在高温下并且如果需要,在惰性气体氛围中进行烧结。在压缩气体存储装置内充填气体及/或装入烟火药可用一般已知的工艺进行。
虽然本发明系将压缩气体存储装置作为气袋组件的一个构件来说明,但涂敷具有高比表面面积的材料的原理可适用于乘车人束护系统用的其他任何一种压缩气体存储装置上。
Claims (4)
1.一种乘车人束护系统用的压缩气体存储装置,包括一有一内腔(3)的存储容器(1),其中含有在高压下存储的气体,其特征在于,内腔(3)的内壁表面有一层由具有很高的比表面积的材料构成的涂层(23)。
2.如权利要求1所述的压缩气体存储装置,其特征在于,该材料为一氧化物或一分子筛。
3.如权利要求2所述的压缩气体存储装置,其特征在于,该材料为沸石。
4.如权利要求1到3中任一项所述的压缩气体存储装置,其特征在于,该材料的比表面面积为200到400m2/g。
