Abstract
The invention provides an application software management method and device, wherein a scanning unit in the application software management device scans newly installed software, identifies identification information of the newly installed software, sends the identification information to a server, and the server determines the type of the application software according to the identification information, stores related information of the application software into one or more folders in a storage unit, and names the folders according to the identification information so as to facilitate subsequent management operation. The application software management device comprises a scanning unit, a monitoring unit, an analysis feedback unit, a deleting unit, a storage device and a server. The application software management method provided by the invention can reasonably identify and store the software installed in the equipment, can actively analyze and judge the software in the use process, and can control the risk of the software; meanwhile, the method can also actively respond to the user request and delete one or more folders related to the application software, so that related information can be flexibly deleted.

Background
With the development of computer and internet technologies, various application software layers are endless. Most application software is user friendly when installed on computing devices such as desktop computers, notebook computers, tablet computers, smart phones, personal digital assistants, and the like. However, the three methods have the following disadvantages respectively: 1. formatting a computing device may not only delete relevant information for application software but also information that is useful to the user and is therefore inconvenient and impractical for the user; 2. cleaning junk files in the computing device, wherein only related junk files of the application software can be deleted, but not related non-junk files of the application software can be deleted, so that related information of the application software can not be completely deleted from the computing device; 3. the application manager of the computing device can only delete the related information of the application software stored in the storage space of the computing device itself, but cannot delete the related information of the application software stored in an external secure digital card (SD card) of the computing device.
In view of the above, a new application management method is needed to solve the above problems.

The application software management method includes scanning newly installed software by means of scanning unit in the application software management device, identifying its identification information, sending the identification information to the server, determining the type of the application software by the server according to the identification information, storing the relevant information into one or several folders in the storage unit, and naming the folders according to the identification information for convenient subsequent management operation.
