Fig. 3 is a flowchart of a game information display method according to an embodiment of the present application, in which a graphic user interface is provided through a terminal device, and contents displayed on the graphic user interface at least partially include virtual game scenes, in which contents are displayed including: the first view, as shown in fig. 3, includes the following steps:
Step S31, responding to the virtual game scenes except the virtual game scenes corresponding to the first view field picture to identify a target game event, and acquiring a media data stream corresponding to the target game event and event positioning information, wherein the media data stream comprises a second view field picture corresponding to the target game event, and the event positioning information is used for determining relative distance information and relative azimuth information between the central position of the first view field picture and the central position of the second view field picture;
Step S32, displaying the media data stream and the event positioning information in the graphical user interface by using the target field control.
The first Field View screen is used for displaying a virtual space display range, i.e., a Field Of View (FOV), which is currently visible to a player in a hardware display device or a software window. The first view field picture contains contents including player characters, game world environments, other characters or enemies, maps, task targets and the like, and the elements jointly form the visual experience of the player in the game.
The target game event is a key event in the game, and specifically may be a certain type or types of instant events which may be triggered in the running of the software system and are customized by a developer or a user. The content of the target game event depends on the specific game type and setting. In general, target game events may include a player completing a particular mission, reaching a particular score, defeating a particular enemy, unlocking a new map or gate, obtaining a particular prop or equipment, triggering a special scenario or event, and so forth. The target game event may have different specificities and requirements in different types of games. For example, in shooting-type games, the target game event may be a defeating key enemy; in role playing games, the target game event may be an important task in completing a mainline scenario. The target game event is a vital part of the game, can bring the game experience of the player, and arouses the interest and the challenges of the player.
The media data stream is a Live stream (Live) of the target game event, and a player can watch the specific process of the target game event in real time through the Live stream, so that abundant instant event information is obtained, and the requirement of thinking decision of a user is met. The event positioning information is used for determining relative distance information and relative azimuth information between the central position of the first view picture and the central position of the second view picture, wherein the relative distance information can be displayed in a digital form, and the relative azimuth information can be displayed in an arrow form.
The target visual field control may be a picture-in-picture UI, and the user may be enabled to view a first visual field picture and a second visual field picture on a screen at the same time through the target visual field control, where the first visual field picture is a main picture. The pip UI is a user interface for controlling and managing the pip function by which the size, position, display, and hiding of different pictures can be adjusted and controlled. The target field of view control provides a more flexible and convenient manner of operation for the pip UI, allowing players to more conveniently use the pip functionality.
For example, game information associated with a target game event may also be displayed in the target field of view control, e.g., when the target game event is a defined period open task, the target field of view control may also display the remaining countdown of the current round of tasks; also for example, when the target game event is a dominant city/hero being attacked, the target field of view control may also display the remaining life value or percentage of life of the attacked object.
Based on the steps S31 to S32, the target game event is identified by responding to the virtual game scene outside the virtual game scene corresponding to the first view field picture, the media data stream and the event positioning information corresponding to the target game event are obtained, and then the media data stream and the event positioning information are displayed in the graphical user interface by using the target view field control, so that the aim of efficiently sensing the target game event is achieved, the technical effects of reducing the game understanding cost and improving the game experience of the player are achieved, and the technical problems of high game understanding cost and poor game experience when prompt is carried out on the instant event information outside the current game view field in the related art are solved.
The game information display method in the embodiment of the application is further described below.
Optionally, at step S32, displaying the media data stream and the event localization information in the graphical user interface using the target field of view control includes:
step S321, determining a first edge position of a target field-of-view control in a graphical user interface based on event positioning information;
In step S322, the media data stream and event localization information are displayed at the first edge location using the target view control.
Specifically, fig. 4 is an interface schematic diagram of a game information display method according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, if a target game event occurring in a southwest direction of a current position is identified outside a first view field, time positioning information corresponding to the target game event is obtained, relative distance information between a center position of the first view field and a center position of a second view field is determined to be 90m, and relative azimuth information is determined to be southwest direction, so that a first edge position of a target view control in a graphical user interface can be determined to be a lower left edge position of the graphical user interface, and media data stream and event positioning information can be displayed in the graphical user interface by using the target view control.
Fig. 5 is an interface schematic diagram of another game information display method according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 5, if a target game event occurring in the north direction of the current position is identified outside the first view, time positioning information corresponding to the target game event is acquired, the relative distance information between the center position of the first view and the center position of the second view is determined to be 90m, and the relative azimuth information is determined to be north, so that the first edge position of the target view control in the graphical user interface can be determined to be the upper edge of the graphical user interface, and the media data stream and the event positioning information can be displayed in the graphical user interface by using the target view control.
Based on the above optional embodiments, by determining the first edge position of the target view control in the graphical user interface based on the event positioning information, and then displaying the media data stream and the event positioning information by using the target view control at the first edge position, the user experience and the operation efficiency can be improved, the understanding cost of the user for the target game time can be reduced, and the perception efficiency of the game time can be further improved.
Optionally, at step S32, displaying the media data stream and the event localization information in the graphical user interface using the target field of view control includes:
Step S323, obtaining a second edge position of the target field control in the graphical user interface;
In step S324, the media data stream and event localization information are displayed at the second edge location using the target field of view control.
FIG. 6 is an interface diagram of yet another method of displaying game information according to one embodiment of the present application, the second edge position being a fixed edge position of the display target field of view control, for example, the second edge position being an upper left corner edge position of the graphical user interface. If a target game event which occurs in the southwest direction of the current position is identified outside the first view field picture, time positioning information corresponding to the target game event is acquired, relative distance information between the central position of the first view field picture and the central position of the second view field picture is determined to be 90m, relative azimuth information is southwest direction, and media data stream and event positioning information are displayed in the second edge position by utilizing the target view field control.
Based on the above-mentioned optional embodiment, by acquiring the second edge position of the target view control in the graphical user interface, and further displaying the media data stream and the event positioning information by using the target view control at the second edge position, the user experience and the operation efficiency can be improved, the understanding cost of the user on the target game time can be reduced, and the perception efficiency of the game time can be further improved.
