Description

Single-component polyurethane primer and adhesive tape using same
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of primer, and particularly relates to a single-component polyurethane primer and an adhesive tape using the same.
Background
In many cases, when an object is bonded by using an adhesive tape or a protective film, the adhesive tape or the protective film has poor surface affinity to a base material, which tends to cause poor structural stability of the adhesive tape and poor adhesive adhesion. The PET substrate has good heat resistance, high transparency and strength, is not easy to stretch, and has lower tension control requirement than other substrates, but has poorer surface affinity, printability and ink adhesion fastness due to regular macromolecular chain structure and higher crystallinity of the PET substrate.
The common surface treatment method of the base material is a corona method, but the corona method has timeliness, and the treatment effect can be attenuated to different degrees according to different storage environment humiture and storage time. The primer is used as a pretreatment means, so that the surface tension of the base material can be increased, the structural stability of the adhesive tape or the protective film is improved, and the occurrence of the degumming phenomenon is reduced. In addition, as the primer is arranged between the base material and the adhesive layer, the adhesive property between the adhesive layer and the base material is improved, and most of commercially available adhesives contain alcohol, ester, benzene and ketone materials, so that the primer is easy to corrode.
Therefore, there is a need for a primer that can raise the surface tension of a substrate and has good solvent resistance.

The single-component polyurethane primer provided by the scheme can improve the surface tension of a base material, and the primer layer formed by the single-component polyurethane primer has high adhesive force to the base material, so that the base material layer and the primer layer can be firmly attached. Meanwhile, the primer layer has good solvent resistance and is not easy to be corroded by alcohols, esters, benzene and ketone materials, so that the adhesive tape and the protective film applying the single-component polyurethane primer have good structural stability. The scheme adopts the polyester polyol with high polarity and isocyanate materials meeting the requirements according to the proportion, and the prepared primer has high cohesive strength, can form a primer layer with high surface tension, good adhesive force, stable structure, good solvent resistance, good flexibility and good tensile strength, and is favorable for firmly attaching a base material and the primer layer. When the single-component polyurethane primer is used for preparing the adhesive tape, the primer layer in the adhesive tape is not easy to corrode by the adhesive, and the surface tension of a base material can be stably improved, so that the structural stability of the adhesive tape can be improved, and residual adhesive is not easy to remain on the surface of an object after the adhesive tape is torn after being attached to the surface of the object. Particularly when PET is used as a base material, the single-component polyurethane primer can obviously improve the surface tension of the PET base material, so that the bonding effect of the PET base material and the adhesive layer is improved. In addition, the single-component polyurethane primer provided by the scheme belongs to a hydroxyl-terminated polyurethane primer, is not easy to react with water, and avoids the condition that the primer expands when being foamed with water, thereby further improving the storage stability of the primer and the water resistance and solvent resistance of a primer layer.

The inventor prepares NCO end-capped polyurethane prepolymer through prepolymerization, and then reacts the polyurethane prepolymer with hydroxyl chain extender to prepare hydroxyl end-capped polyurethane. The preparation method not only increases the hard segment content of the single-component polyurethane primer, but also effectively avoids the defects of water foaming and poor storage stability of NCO-terminated polyurethane. In summary, the single-component polyurethane primer is prepared by the above operation steps, so that the formed primer layer has the advantages of high surface tension, stable structure and quick surface drying.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided an adhesive tape comprising a base material layer, a primer layer, and an adhesive layer disposed in this order, the primer layer being made of the above one-component polyurethane primer. The adhesive tape provided by the scheme has stable structure and is not easy to be left. The primer layer in the adhesive tape provides an adhesion surface with higher surface tension for the substrate layer to be attached by the adhesive layer, so that the adhesive tape structure is stable. When the adhesive layer is attached to the surface of an object and torn off, the stripping force between the adhesive layer and the primer layer is larger than that between the adhesive layer and most of the objects, so that the structural stability of the adhesive tape is improved, and the adhesive tape is not easy to leave residual adhesive on the surface of the object.

TABLE 1 Performance test results of one-component polyurethane primer and adhesive tape
Analysis of results:
Comparing the test indexes of examples 1 to 7 with those of comparative examples 1 to 5 in Table 1, it can be found that the single-component polyurethane primer provided in examples 1 to 7 can raise the corona value of the substrate layer, and has stable structure, good storage stability and good solvent resistance. Among them, in the actual production test process, the single-component polyurethane primer provided in comparative examples 1 to 3 has the obvious problem of poor storage stability, because the reaction R value in comparative examples 1 to 3 is too large, the formed polyurethane has poor reaction regularity, and the film is hard and brittle. Therefore, although the primer compositions of comparative examples 1 to 3 can raise the surface corona value of the substrate layer in a short time, the structural stability is poor and it is impossible to provide a high corona value for a long period of time.
Comparing the properties of examples 1 to 7 in Table 1 with those of comparative example 4, it was found that the primer of comparative example 4 was less likely to be dry, since the R value of the reaction in comparative example 4 was too small, corresponding to an excess of-OH, and was less likely to be dry.
Comparing the performances of examples 1 to 7 with those of comparative example 5, it can be found that the pretreatment means of the one-component polyurethane primer adopted in examples 1 to 7 not only improves the surface dyne value of the substrate layer, but also improves the structural stability of the adhesive tape. Therefore, the single-component polyurethane primer has good solvent resistance and structural stability on the premise of improving the surface tension of the substrate layer.
