Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of orthodontic treatment, in particular to a split type bite plate device and an orthodontic accelerator.
Background
With the progress of society and the continuous development of economy, people are gradually shifting attention from basic living demands to improvement of living quality, and oral health is also a focus of attention. More and more people recognize the severity of the mismatching deformity, however, traditional orthodontic treatment typically requires 18-30 months with a monthly tooth movement rate of only about one millimeter. Too long a treatment time may lead to problems of root absorption, gingival atrophy, caries, etc., and patient compliance is reduced and orthodontic treatment becomes more difficult.
Piezoelectric hypothesis suggests that tooth movement is affected by piezoelectric charge-induced osteogenic reactions. Several studies have shown that periodontal tissue metabolism changes during the vibration load induced by the application of intermittent force to activate stress, accelerating bone resorption on the compression side of the periodontal ligament and bone deposition on the tension side. The orthodontic accelerator is used as an auxiliary vibration device capable of accelerating orthodontic treatment, so that the tooth moving speed is remarkably increased, the number of times of treatment is reduced, and the discomfort of a patient in the orthodontic process can be relieved. Animal experiments and clinical studies confirm their effectiveness. The orthodontic accelerator has the advantages of portability, convenience, no wound and the like, has a wide application range, can be matched with the orthodontic accelerator for use in the whole stage of fixed correction or invisible correction, and meets the expectations of people pursuing a rapid orthodontic effect.
However, orthodontic accelerators require the transmission of shock through the bite plate when in use. Traditional occlusal plate is integrated design, can't adjust according to patient's dental arch curve. After the patient bites, the instrument cannot be completely attached, so that the vibration effect received by the target teeth is not expected. Meanwhile, the method cannot accurately accelerate specific tooth positions and lacks accuracy.
Therefore, a split type bite plate device and an orthodontic accelerator are needed, self-adaptive adjustment of dental arch curves of different patients can be achieved, and meanwhile, tooth vibration pieces can be installed according to requirements, so that accurate vibration is achieved.
