Summary of The Invention
As described above, the present invention provides a statistics method for an intranet call terminal and an extranet call terminal in a video conference, and a system thereof, which obtain the maximum intranet call concurrency and the maximum extranet call concurrency of a designated department in a designated time period, and an administrator supports and adjusts network configuration based on these data, so as to ensure that more terminals are accessed from an intranet MCU, thereby optimizing the operation effect of the video conference system to the maximum extent.
Exemplary method
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a statistical method for an intranet and extranet call terminal in a video conference according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the embodiment includes the following steps:
s101: and marking the terminal as an intranet terminal or an extranet terminal according to the mode of accessing the conference from the intranet MCU or the extranet MCU at preset intervals by taking the conference as a unit.
Since the terminals are slaved to the conference, the management and control of the terminals is typically done in units of the whole conference, the marking of the terminals is done as a separate unit per conference, instead of in units of each terminal in the conference.
The intranet MCU is an MCU deployed in an enterprise intranet; the external network MCU is an MCU deployed in a non-enterprise internal network, and comprises an MCU accessed through the Internet, a DMZ and/or a government external network.
During the whole conference, due to the requirement of network load balancing, the MCU connected with the same terminal may be changed in real time along with the network environment, i.e. dynamically switch the terminal to the MCU with lower load according to the current network load condition, so as to ensure the performance and stability of the whole system, or a certain MCU fails or the network connection is unstable, and automatically switch the terminal to another available MCU, so as to ensure the continuous progress of the conference.
In summary, in order to optimize the communication quality of conference participants, the terminal is automatically connected to provide a better quality MCU according to the network conditions, so as to ensure the smoothness and definition of audio and video transmission.
Because the MCU that the terminal is connected can transform in real time, therefore the MCU that this terminal is connected is intranet MCU or outer net MCU also transforms in real time, namely it marks as intranet terminal or outer net terminal also transforms in real time.
In order to satisfy the real-time property of the terminal marking, the predetermined interval is preferably set to every second.
S102: and giving department attributes to the intranet terminal and the extranet terminal, namely associating specific department identifications to the intranet terminal and the extranet terminal.
For example, the video conference system of the enterprise X marks every second in a conference unit whether each participant terminal in the video conference in progress of the enterprise is an intranet terminal or an extranet terminal, so as to form detailed time sequence data; then, the corresponding departments are associated with each terminal through integration with an identity verification system, a user database or other information sources of the enterprise, and the department attributes corresponding to the terminals are stored through setting a field. In order to ensure that the department attribute of the terminal is accurate, periodic updating can be performed according to the requirement, for example, when an employee changes the department, the department attribute corresponding to the terminal can be changed within 1 hour.
The department attributes include, but are not limited to, department name and department ID.
S103: the department requiring statistics is selected as the designated department.
The departments include the actual departments in the organization architecture and/or SDK (Software Development Kit) virtual departments.
The SDK virtual department is a virtual department created based on special roles or requirements of software developers, technical support, and the like.
S104: and selecting the time period which needs to be counted by the designated department as a designated time period.
The designated period may be one period or a plurality of periods.
For example, the specified time period is daily, weekly, and/or monthly for a certain period of time, and as shown in fig. 3, the specified time period is daily in units of days 2023, 6, 30, to 2023, 7, 6, and seven total time periods.
Additionally, the specified time period may include a past time, a current time, and/or a future time. If the appointed time period contains the past time, calling historical conference data in the appointed time period during statistics; if the specified time period does not contain the past time, the current conference data in the specified time period can be counted in real time.
S105: and counting the number of intranet terminals and the number of extranet terminals of the designated department according to the preset interval time, and counting the maximum value in the number of intranet terminals and the maximum value in the number of extranet terminals at each time in the designated time period to obtain the maximum intranet call concurrency and the maximum extranet call concurrency of the designated department in the designated time period.
For example, the designated division is division a of enterprise X, the predetermined interval is every second, and the designated time period is weekly in the unit of week 2023, 12, 4, and 2023, 12, 31, i.e., the designated time period is four time periods in the unit of week. Counting the number of the intranet terminals and the number of the extranet terminals of the department a per second to form a series of time sequence data; at the end of each week during month 4 of 2023, 12, to month 31 of 2023, the maximum value was found among 604,800 intranet terminal numbers, which is the maximum intranet call concurrence within the week, by summarizing and analyzing the data counted per second (604,800 seconds total for each week) for that week. Similarly, the maximum value is found in the number of 604,800 external network terminals, and the maximum value is the maximum external network call concurrency in the week.
When the specified time period is a plurality of time periods, visualization tools such as a line graph and a bar graph can be utilized to show that the specified department is concurrent with the maximum intranet call and the maximum extranet call in the specified time period, and data export is supported, so that an administrator can conveniently and intuitively acquire data information, further better understand, analyze and optimize the operation condition of the video conference system, and adjust network configuration according to a resource allocation strategy.
As an optional embodiment, when the number of intranet terminals of the designated department reaches a certain threshold at a certain moment in the designated time period, the capacity of the intranet MCUs of the designated department is temporarily increased, for example, the number of the intranet MCUs is increased, so that the terminals of the designated department can still access the conference from the intranet MCUs.
Compared with a terminal which does not occupy the internet bandwidth and accesses the conference from the intranet MCU, the terminal which accesses the conference from the extranet MCU occupies the internet bandwidth, the generated network cost is higher, and compared with the terminal which accesses through the extranet, the intranet is generally more easily protected by the internal security control of the enterprise, so that the terminal user should access the conference from the intranet MCU preferentially when initially participating in the conference. In practical situations, however, the behavior of the user is not always performed according to the optimal network access manner, for example, some users choose to access the conference from the external network MCU if both the internal and external network MCUs can be connected, resulting in higher internet bandwidth usage and network cost.
For this case, the present invention provides the following embodiments of adjusting the number of external network terminals based on the number of external network terminals of a specified department at a certain time within the specified time period:
as another alternative embodiment, departments are ranked according to importance, such as a higher level department and a lower level department; when the number of the external network terminals of the designated department reaches a certain threshold value at a certain moment in the designated time period, the threshold value of the designated department is adjusted according to the grade of the designated department: if the designated department is a high-level department, the number threshold of the external network terminals of the designated department is temporarily increased, and if the designated department is a low-level department, the number threshold of the external network terminals of the original designated department of the designated department is kept unchanged, and the terminals of the designated department cannot be accessed from an external network MCU.
For example, the designated department is a primary leader (advanced department), and when the number of external network terminals is 50 sides above the threshold number of external network terminals of the designated department at a certain time in the designated time period of the primary leader, the external network call budget of the primary leader is automatically increased to raise the maximum external network call concurrency threshold of the primary leader to be 100 sides.
In a word, the departments are classified according to the importance degree, an intelligent foundation is provided for the subsequent adjustment of the external network call budget, the high-level departments are ensured to have enough resources to support the maximum external network call concurrency requirement, and the low-level departments can more economically utilize the resources.
As a further alternative embodiment, when the number of the external network terminals of the designated department at a certain moment in the designated time period reaches a certain threshold, the permission of accessing the conference mode is allocated to the terminals of the designated department according to the service requirement.
For example, the corresponding number of times of accessing the conference from the external network MCU is allocated to the corresponding terminal according to the business trip frequency of the terminal user, when the number of external network terminals is higher than 30 parties at a certain moment in a specified time period of the sales department, the corresponding number of times of accessing the conference from the external network MCU is allocated to the corresponding terminal according to the average business trip number of each member of the sales department in the history record, for example, the average business trip number of the terminal per month is 0, and the number of times of accessing the conference from the external network MCU by the terminal is 0, that is, only accessing the conference from the intranet MCU is possible.
In a word, assign the authority of the meeting mode of access to the terminal station of the appointed department according to the business requirement, reduce the unnecessary external network MCU and cut in the number of times.
As still another alternative embodiment, when the number of the external network terminals of the designated department reaches a certain threshold at a certain moment in the designated time period, the terminal of the designated department is prompted to access the conference from the internal network MCU preferentially before meeting, so that the terminal user is guided to select the internal network MCU, the internet bandwidth is not occupied, the network cost is not generated, and meanwhile, the network security is enhanced. An administrator can adjust the threshold according to actual requirements to adapt to video conference operation and network management requirements of departments in an enterprise.
For example, when the statistics is performed in real time that the number of terminals of the external network is higher than the threshold value by 50 at a certain moment in a week of a designated time period of the third-level department, the user interface receives a prompt "please prefer to access the conference from the intranet MCU" immediately before all terminals of the third-level department enter the conference. The user is reminded to preferentially select the intranet MCU access, so that the user is guided to more accord with the network use behavior of the whole benefit of the enterprise.
In addition, besides the above embodiment, user guiding information can be provided to explain advantages of access from the intranet MCU, including reducing network cost, improving access speed, and the like, so as to ensure that more terminals are accessed from the intranet MCU, thereby reducing network cost, improving overall system performance, maintaining internal security of enterprises, and optimizing operation effects of the video conference system to the maximum extent.
When the concurrency of a plurality of maximum extranet calls of the designated department reaches a certain threshold value in the designated time period, the threshold value of the number of extranet terminals of the designated department is increased; and when the concurrency of a plurality of maximum intranet calls of the designated department reaches a certain threshold value within the designated time period, increasing the intranet MCU capacity of the designated department.
