Currently, a television displays an Application (APP) corresponding to a video and a prompt message corresponding to the APP while playing the video. The prompt information is used for prompting a key (which may be called a control key corresponding to the application) to which the application can respond. The application may be referred to as an interactive application. The prompt information corresponding to different applications is different, for example, the styles of key icons included in the prompt information are different, and the layout styles of the prompt information are also different.
The application may be provided, for example, by a television channel. The background server of each television channel provides data support for the application provided by the television channel, for example, generates prompt information corresponding to the application, and acquires and processes instructions input by a user for the application. The prompt messages generated by the background servers of different television channels tend to be quite different. Therefore, the prompt information displayed by the television when switching different television channels is also various. Thereby causing the user to have an excessively complicated impression of prompt information and causing the user to more easily confuse the control keys corresponding to the respective applications.
Exemplary, fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of prompt information corresponding to a plurality of applications provided by a related solution. And the television responds to the first instruction input by the user and displays the video provided by the first television channel, the interface of the application A and the first prompt message. The interface of the application a may include other multimedia resources provided by the first television channel, such as historical video, hot spot video, and the like. As shown in fig. 1, the prompt message one includes a plurality of control keys (including a left direction key, a right direction key, a down direction key, and a confirm key (may be referred to as OK keys)) corresponding to the application a. The user can control the application a to execute corresponding operations by operating any one control key corresponding to the application a in the remote controller, for example, control the application a to replace the video played by the television with other videos provided by the first television channel.
Then, the television can respond to the second instruction input by the user to display the video provided by the second television channel, the interface of the application B and the prompt information II. As shown in fig. 1, the prompt message two includes a plurality of control keys (including) corresponding to the application B. And the television responds to the fourth instruction input by the user, and displays the video provided by the fourth television channel, the interface of the application D and the prompt information. As shown in fig. 1, the prompt message four includes a plurality of control keys (including an up direction key and a down direction key) corresponding to the application D.
As shown in fig. 1, the layout patterns of four hints (i.e., hint one, hint two, hint three, and hint four) corresponding to the four applications are different. Specifically, the arrangement of the positions of the key icons in the four prompting messages is different, and the four prompting messages also comprise different contents. In addition, the four types of key icons included in the four prompt messages corresponding to the four applications are different.
In view of the foregoing, an embodiment of the present application provides an operation prompting method, when a first application corresponding to a first multimedia resource is displayed in response to a first operation, acquiring a second key icon corresponding to the first application from a plurality of first key icons. Further, the key icons corresponding to the applications may be obtained from the plurality of first key icons for different applications, that is, the key icons in the plurality of first key icons are used by different applications. Second, the functions corresponding to the plurality of first key icons are different, that is, the plurality of first key icons includes one key icon corresponding to each function. Thus, the same key icon may also be used if the same function corresponds to different applications. In summary, the key icons in the plurality of first key icons are used by different applications, and the same function corresponding to different applications can also use the same key icon, so that unification of the key icons corresponding to different applications is realized. The key icons in the prompt messages corresponding to different applications are unified, so that the prompt messages corresponding to different applications are simplified. The simplified prompt information can play a more visual prompt role for a user to control different applications.

In some embodiments, the system of the television 200 may be divided into four layers, from top to bottom, an application layer (simply "application layer"), an application framework (Application Framework) layer (simply "framework layer"), a system library layer (simply "system runtime layer"), and a kernel layer, respectively.
In some embodiments, at least one application is running in the application layer, which may include an application (e.g., browser application) hosted by the operating system, and may also include an application (e.g., first application) developed by a third party developer. In particular implementations, the application in the application layer is not limited to the above examples.
The application framework layer provides an application programming interface (application programming interface, API) and programming framework for applications. The application framework layer includes a number of predefined functions. The application framework layer corresponds to a processing center that decides to let the applications in the application layer act. Through the API interface, the application can access the resources in the system and obtain the services of the system in execution.
In some embodiments, the system runtime layer provides support for upper layers (i.e., application framework layers), and when the application framework layer is in use, the android operating system runs the C/C++ libraries contained in the system runtime layer to implement the functions to be implemented by the application framework layer.
In some embodiments, the kernel layer is a layer between hardware and software. The kernel layer contains at least one of the following drivers: audio drive, display drive, bluetooth drive, infrared drive, camera drive, wi-Fi drive, USB drive, HDMI drive, sensor drive, power supply drive, and the like.
Taking a communication module in the television 200 as an example, fig. 5 shows a system configuration diagram of a display device according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 5, in order to enable the television 200 to display the first application corresponding to the first multimedia resource and the prompt information corresponding to the first application, not only the coordination of the infrared module of the television 200 and the display 260, but also the coordination of the first application included in the application layer, the input system included in the application framework layer, the UI framework and the presentation framework included in the system running layer, and the driver (including the infrared driver and the display driver) included in the kernel layer are required.
The process by which the television 200 displays a reminder will be described in connection with fig. 5. The infrared module in the television set 200 may receive the first operation transmitted by the communication module in the control device 100. The first operation is for triggering display of the first multimedia asset. The infrared module in the television 200 sends the first operation to the infrared driver in the kernel layer, which in turn forwards the first operation to the input system in the application framework layer. The input system generates a corresponding first event in response to the first operation and sends the first event to the browser application and the first application in the application layer. And the browser application responds to the first event, and a UI framework in the running layer of the control system draws and renders the interface of the first application to be displayed to obtain a rendered picture I. And synthesizing the rendered first picture by the display frame in the system running layer to obtain the interface of the first application. The presentation framework sends an interface of the first application to the display driver. The display driver drives the display 260 to display an interface of the first application.
And secondly, the first application responds to the first event and can send key information corresponding to the first application to the browser application. The browser application can determine prompt information to be displayed according to key information corresponding to the first application; and then the UI framework is controlled to draw and render the prompt information to be displayed, so as to obtain a rendered picture II. And synthesizing the rendered picture II by the display frame to obtain prompt information. The presentation framework sends the prompt to a display driver. The display driver display 260 displays the prompt.
The methods in the following embodiments may be implemented in a display device having the above-described hardware structure or software structure.
The following describes in detail the operation prompting method provided in the embodiment of the present application with reference to fig. 6. As shown in fig. 6, continuing to take a display device as an example of a television set for illustration, the operation prompting method provided in the embodiment of the present application may include the following S601-S604.
S601, responding to a first operation input by a user, and displaying a first multimedia resource and a first application corresponding to the first multimedia resource.
The user may send a first operation (e.g., a user's pressing operation of a key in a remote control) to the television set 200 through the control device 100. The first operation is for triggering the television 200 to display a first multimedia asset (e.g., a first video). Then, the television 200 displays the first multimedia resource and the interface of the first application corresponding to the first multimedia resource in response to the first operation.
In some embodiments, the first application may be used to expose at least one second multimedia resource. At least one second multimedia asset is different from the first multimedia asset. Thus, the user can change the multimedia asset displayed on the television 200 by controlling the first application, for example, changing the first multimedia asset displayed on the television to any one of the second multimedia assets.
Illustratively, the first operation may be for triggering the television set 200 to display the first television channel. In this case, the first multimedia asset may be a multimedia asset provided by a first television channel. In response to the first operation, the television 200 displays a first multimedia asset provided by a first television channel and a first application corresponding to the first television channel. The first application may be used to present at least one second multimedia asset provided by the first television channel such that the user replaces the multimedia asset under the first television channel displayed by the television set 200 by controlling the first application.
S602, acquiring a second key icon corresponding to a first application from a plurality of first key icons; the functions corresponding to the preset key icons are different.
When the television 200 displays the first application, the prompt information corresponding to the first application may also be displayed. The prompt information is used for prompting a key capable of controlling the first application (namely, a control key corresponding to the first application). In order to obtain the prompt information, the television 200 first obtains a second key icon corresponding to the first application from the plurality of first key icons. The key indicated by the second key icon corresponding to the first application may be a key for controlling the first application.
Illustratively, the television 200 may include a browser application. The browser application may obtain a second key icon corresponding to the first application from the plurality of first key icons stored in the television 200.
In some embodiments, the television 200 may first obtain key information corresponding to the first application. Then, the television 200 obtains a second key icon corresponding to the first application from the plurality of first key icons according to the key information corresponding to the first application and the key information corresponding to each of the plurality of first key icons. The key information corresponding to the second key icon belongs to the key information corresponding to the first application. The key information (including the key information corresponding to the first application and the key information corresponding to the first key icon) may be a key value (e.g., 0001, 0002) or a key character (e.g., up, down).
It should be noted that, when the first application is executed for the first time, the television 200 may obtain key information corresponding to the first application and store the key information corresponding to the first application. When the television 200 does not run the first application for the first time, the locally stored key information corresponding to the first application is directly used. The first running of the first application by the tv set 200 may refer to the first running of the first application from the first start after the tv set 200 leaves the factory.
Illustratively, the television 200 starts running the first application in response to the first operation, and displays an interface of the first application. After the first application starts to run, the key information corresponding to the first application is sent to the browser application in the television 200. Then, the browser application may determine that the first key icon corresponding to the key information corresponding to the first application in the plurality of first key icons is the second key icon.
The television 200 may employ any digital television standard, for example, digital television national standard (Advanced Television Systems Committee, ATSC) 3.0. The first application may send key information corresponding to the first application to a browser application in the television 200 through any communication protocol (e.g., websocket) based on any protocol (e.g., ATSC3.0 protocol) specified by the digital television standard.
The first application is illustratively application a described above. The control key corresponding to the application a may include a left direction key, a right direction key, a down direction key and an OK key, and the key character corresponding to the application a may include: left indicating a left direction key, right indicating a right direction key, down indicating a down direction key, and enter indicating an OK key. Second, key characters corresponding to the plurality of first key icons may include: left, right, up, down, back and enter. The television 200 may determine a first key icon corresponding to left, right, down and enter, respectively, of the plurality of first key icons as a second key icon corresponding to the application a.
In some embodiments, the plurality of first key icons may be determined based on key icons on the remote control.
Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram illustrating key icons on a remote controller according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 7, a plurality of key icons on the remote controller represent a left direction key, a right direction key, an up direction key, a down direction key, a back key, and an OK key on the remote controller, respectively. The plurality of first key icons stored by the television 200 may be the same as the plurality of key icons on the remote control.
It can be understood that if the plurality of first key icons are key icons on the remote controller and the second key icon corresponding to the first application belongs to the plurality of first key icons, it can be known that the second key icon corresponding to the first application is also a key icon on the remote controller. Furthermore, when the second key icon corresponding to the first application is displayed to the user, the control key corresponding to the first application can be more intuitively and clearly prompted to the user.
In some embodiments, after the television 200 stores the key information corresponding to the first application, the triggering operation of the user on any key may be received. And under the condition that the key information of any one key belongs to the key information corresponding to the first application, responding to the trigger operation, and sending the trigger operation to the first application.
S603, generating prompt information according to the second key icon.
After the television 200 obtains the second key icon corresponding to the first application, a prompt message including the second key icon may be generated.
In some embodiments, the television 200 may add the second key icon to a corresponding position in a preset alert information template (may be referred to as a UI alert interface) to obtain the alert information.
For example, the preset hint information template may be a pattern of removing a plurality of key icons from the picture shown in fig. 7. The preset prompt message template comprises positions corresponding to a left direction key, a right direction key, an upper direction key, a lower direction key, a return key and an OK key respectively. The television 200 may add a second key icon to the prompt message template at a location corresponding to the key represented by the second key icon.
In some embodiments, the layout pattern of the hint information may be a preset layout pattern, which may be determined based on a key layout pattern on the remote control (e.g., the key layout pattern on the remote control shown in fig. 7).
Illustratively, taking the example that the layout style of the prompt information is the key layout style on the remote controller shown in fig. 7, and the first application is the application a, the second key icon corresponding to the application a includes: a plurality of second key icons respectively representing a left direction key, a right direction key, a down direction key, and an OK key. As shown in fig. 8, the prompt message 80 corresponding to the application a includes: a plurality of second key icons respectively representing a left direction key, a right direction key, a down direction key, and an OK key.
It can be understood that if the layout style of the prompt information is the same as the layout style of the key on the actual remote controller, the user sees the prompt information just like seeing the remote controller, so the prompt information can prompt the user more intuitively and clearly about the control key corresponding to the first application.
S604, displaying prompt information.
The television 200 may display a reminder message on the interface of the first application. Second, the television 200 may also display the reminder information for a preset duration (e.g., 2 seconds or 3 seconds).
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 9, the television 200 displays the interface of the first multimedia resource and the application a, and also displays the prompt message 80 at the upper layer of the interface of the first application. The television 200 may be hidden after 3 seconds of display of the reminder 80.
It is understood that the first multimedia resource may be any one of all multimedia resources included in the television 200, and the first application is an application (may be referred to as any one application) corresponding to any one of all multimedia resources. That is, any one application in the television 200 acquires a key icon corresponding to any one application from the plurality of first key icons. The unification of the key icons corresponding to different applications in the television 200 is realized. Secondly, the layout patterns of the prompt messages corresponding to any one application in the television 200 are all preset layout patterns, so that the unification of the layout patterns of the prompt messages corresponding to different applications in the television 200 is also realized. In summary, the layout patterns of the prompt messages corresponding to different applications are the same, and the key icons used in the prompt messages corresponding to different applications are all key icons in the plurality of first key icons, so that the prompt messages corresponding to different applications can be simplified. The simplified prompt information can play a more visual prompt role for a user to control different applications.
Further, if the layout patterns of the prompt messages corresponding to different applications are all key layout patterns on the remote controller, the key icons used in the prompt messages corresponding to different applications are all key icons on the remote controller. The user can see the prompt information just like the remote controller, so that the prompt information can play a more visual prompt role for the user to control different applications.
In some embodiments, the control key corresponding to the first application may be a part of all keys included in the control device 100. The prompt information may be used to prompt a key that is not capable of controlling the first application, in addition to a key that is capable of controlling the first application. Thus, the television set 200 may also obtain a fourth key icon from the plurality of third key icons. The key represented by the fourth key icon is not capable of controlling the first application (or the first application does not respond). And if the patterns of the third key icons are different from the patterns of the first key icons, the patterns of the fourth key icons are different from the patterns of the second key icons. Therefore, the user can distinguish the keys capable of controlling the first application from the keys incapable of controlling the first application through the prompt information.
Illustratively, in connection with fig. 6, as shown in fig. 10, S602 in an operation prompting method provided in an embodiment of the present application may include S901-S902, S603 may include S903-S904, and S604 may include S905.
And S901, acquiring key information corresponding to the first application.
S902, acquiring a second key icon corresponding to the first application from the plurality of first key icons according to key information corresponding to the first application and key information corresponding to each of the plurality of first key icons; the key information corresponding to the second key icon belongs to the key information corresponding to the first application.
It should be noted that, the specific process of S901-S902 may refer to the detailed description of the descriptions of S901-S902 in S602, which is not repeated herein in the embodiment of the present application.
S903, acquiring a fourth key icon from the plurality of third key icons; the fourth key icons are other key icons except the fifth key icon in the plurality of third key icons; the fifth key icon is a key icon corresponding to the first application in the plurality of third key icons.
The keys represented by the third key icons are the same as the keys represented by the first key icons, i.e., the functions corresponding to the third key icons are the same as the functions corresponding to the first key icons. The patterns of the plurality of third key icons and the patterns of the plurality of first key icons are different. The pattern includes at least one of color, line thickness, and line type (e.g., dotted line and solid line). For example, each of the plurality of first key icons is black or white in color and each of the plurality of third key icons is gray in color.
It should be noted that, the plurality of first key icons is used to represent enabled keys, that is, the keys represented by the application response plurality of first key icons. The first key icon may also be referred to as an ok class key icon. Second, the plurality of third key icons is used to represent inactive keys, i.e., the application does not respond to keys represented by the plurality of third key icons. The third key icon may also be referred to as a ng class key icon.
For example, the television 200 may acquire and store, for a plurality of keys included in the remote controller, a plurality of first key icons corresponding to the plurality of keys, and a plurality of third key icons corresponding to the plurality of keys. The first key icon and the third key icon corresponding to the same key are identical in shape, and the first key icon and the third key icon corresponding to the same key are different in style.
Illustratively, taking the plurality of keys included in the remote controller as an up direction key, a down direction key, a left direction key, a right direction key, a return key, and an OK key as an example, the television set 200 may store a plurality of first key icons and a plurality of third key icons corresponding to the plurality of keys. The plurality of first key icons and the plurality of third key icons corresponding to the plurality of keys are shown in table 1 below.
TABLE 1 Key icon list
The first key icon corresponding to the up direction key, the first key icon corresponding to the down direction key, the first key icon corresponding to the left direction key, the first key icon corresponding to the right direction key, the first key icon corresponding to the return key, and the first key icon corresponding to the OK key may be an up_ok.png picture, a down_ok.png picture, a left_ok.png picture, a right_ok.png picture, a back_ok.png picture, and an enter_ok.png picture, respectively. The third key icon corresponding to the up direction key, the third key icon corresponding to the down direction key, the third key icon corresponding to the left direction key, the third key icon corresponding to the right direction key, the third key icon corresponding to the return key, and the third key icon corresponding to the NG key may be an up_ng.png picture, a down_ng.png picture, a left_ng.png picture, a right_ng.png picture, a back_ng.png picture, and an enter_ng.png picture, respectively. The names of the pictures are named according to the key information of the keys corresponding to the pictures.
In some embodiments, the television 200 obtains the fourth key icon from the plurality of third key icons according to the key information corresponding to the first application and the key information corresponding to each of the plurality of third key icons. The key information corresponding to the fourth key icon is different from the key information corresponding to the first application. For example, the television 200 may determine that the third key icon corresponding to the key information not belonging to the key information corresponding to the first application among the plurality of third key icons is the fourth key icon.
Illustratively, television 200 may employ ATSC3.0. Based on the specifications of the ATSC3.0 protocol, television 200 performs the following steps: after a first application in the television 200 starts to run, sending key information corresponding to the first application to a browser application in the television 200; the browser application in the television 200 stores the key information corresponding to the first application into a first list (e.g., req_keys_list list); and the browser application acquires the second key icon corresponding to the first application from the plurality of first key icons and acquires the fourth key icon from the plurality of third key icons according to the first list. The second key icon and the fourth key icon are stored in a second list (e.g., total_keys_list).
Further, taking the first application as an application a as an example, as shown in fig. 11, a first list of the application a stores key information corresponding to the application a, and specifically includes left, right, down and enter. The television 200 selects a second key icon (including a picture named left_ok.png, a picture named right_ok.png, a picture named down_ok.png, and a picture named enter_ok.png) corresponding to the application a from among the plurality of first key icons according to the first list of the application a, and also selects a fourth key icon (including a picture named up_ng.png and a picture named back_ng.png) from among the plurality of third key icons. The second key icon and the second key icon are saved in a second list.
S904, generating prompt information according to the second key icon and the fourth key icon.
The television 200 may add the second key icon to a position corresponding to the key represented by the second key icon in the preset prompt message template, and further add the fourth key icon to a position corresponding to the key represented by the fourth key icon in the prompt message template, so as to obtain the prompt message.
Illustratively, taking the above-mentioned second list including the picture named left_ok.png, the picture named right_ok.png, the picture named down_ok.png, the picture named enter_ok.png, the picture named up_ng.png, and the picture named back_ng.png as an example, the television 200 may draw and render all the pictures in the second list in a preset hint information template (may be referred to as a UI hint interface) to generate hint information.
Illustratively, android as shown in fig. 5 is employed with television set 200 TM For example, the UI framework in the television 200 may draw and render all the pictures in the second list, to obtain a plurality of rendered key icon frames. The display frame in the television 200 can be used for synthesizing a plurality of rendered picture frames to obtain prompt information by establishing a layout ir_keys_layout.
The presentation framework can firstly acquire a UI Canvas (UI Canvas) corresponding to the prompt message template. The UI canvas may be simply referred to as a canvas. The UI canvas to which the hint information template corresponds may be referred to as a hint interface background canvas (BACK_GROUND). As shown in fig. 12, the UI canvas corresponding to the prompt message template includes a canvas of a plurality of keys in the remote controller, and specifically includes: a left hand KEY canvas, a right hand KEY canvas, an up hand KEY canvas, a down hand KEY canvas, a return KEY canvas (control_key), and an OK KEY canvas (ENTER). Then, the presentation framework may add the rendered plurality of key icon frames to corresponding ones of the UI canvases corresponding to the prompt information template.
S905, displaying a second key icon in the prompt information in a first display mode and displaying a fourth key icon in the prompt information in a second display mode; the first display mode and the second display mode are different.
For example, the first display mode may include a dynamic display (e.g., a blinking display) and the second display mode may include a static display.
For example, taking the first application as the application a, as shown in fig. 8, in the prompt message 80 corresponding to the application a, the plurality of second key icons respectively representing the left direction key, the right direction key, the down direction key and the OK key are all black, and the second key icon representing the OK key is white. The fourth key icons (including a plurality of fourth key icons respectively representing the up key and the back key) in the prompt message 80 are all gray.
With continued reference to fig. 8, if the first application is the application B, for example, the television 200 may generate the prompt information 81 corresponding to the application B. In the prompt message 81, a plurality of second key icons respectively representing a left direction key and a right direction key are black, and a plurality of second key icons respectively representing an OK key and a return key are white. In the prompt message 81, the fourth key icons respectively indicating the upper direction key and the lower direction key are gray.
Next, if the first application is the application C, for example, the television 200 may generate the prompt 82 corresponding to the application C. The second key icons of the prompt 82, which respectively represent the left direction key and the right direction key, are black, and the fourth key icons of the prompt 82, which respectively represent the up direction key, the down direction key, the OK key, and the return key, are gray.
Then, if the first application is the application D, the television 200 may generate the prompt 83 corresponding to the application D. In the prompt 83, a plurality of second key icons respectively indicating the upper direction key and the lower direction key are black. The fourth key icons of the prompt 83, which respectively indicate the left direction key, the right direction key, the OK key, and the return key, are all gray.
It can be seen that the layout patterns of the prompt messages of different applications are the same, and the key icons in the prompt messages of different applications are uniform.
