Description

Packaging assembly of consumable container and using method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of printing, in particular to a packaging assembly of a consumable container and a using method of the packaging assembly.
Background
The printing equipment is used as common office equipment, great convenience is provided for modern office, the existing printing equipment is divided into ink-jet printing equipment and laser printing equipment, and the ink-jet printing equipment uses an ink box containing ink as a consumable container to jet the ink to paper so as to form characters or patterns to be printed on the paper; the laser printing device uses a toner cartridge containing toner as a consumable container to form text or patterns on a medium to be printed.
In general, a cartridge chip is disposed on an outer wall of the toner cartridge, the cartridge chip includes a substrate, an electrical contact is disposed on one surface of the substrate, an electronic module is disposed on the other surface, a processor, a memory, etc. are disposed in the electronic module, and the electronic module is electrically connected to the electrical contact. When the toner cartridge is sold, the toner cartridge is usually packaged in a packaging box, and in order to avoid damage of the toner cartridge in the transportation and storage processes, the existing packaging box completely packages the toner cartridge, so that the toner cartridge chip is completely positioned in the packaging box, and a user cannot contact the toner cartridge chip from the outside of the packaging box.
However, due to the laser printer program upgrade of the toner cartridge adaptation, the data stored in the toner cartridge chip needs to be changed, or the program run by the memory of the toner cartridge chip needs to be upgraded. Because the existing packaging box is used for completely sealing the carbon powder box communicated with the carbon powder chip, if the data of the carbon powder box chip is required to be updated or the program is required to be updated, the packaging box can only be damaged. However, this method needs to re-pack the toner cartridge after the data of the toner cartridge chip is updated or upgraded, which leads to waste of the packing box on one hand and high labor cost on the other hand, resulting in excessive data update or upgrade cost of the toner cartridge chip.
For this reason, some existing powder box packages are provided with an opening on the surface of the package, the electrical contact of the powder box chip can be exposed on the opening, and when the data of the powder box chip needs to be updated or upgraded, the probe of the reader-writer is passed through the opening and connected to the electrical contact, and the data of the powder box chip is updated or upgraded by the reader-writer.
However, this approach would result in the cartridge chip being directly exposed to the package and the package not being completely sealed, and the exposed cartridge chip being easily damaged by collisions between the cartridges during shipping and storage of the cartridge, especially the electrical contacts of the cartridge chip. Once the electrical contacts of the powder box chip are damaged, the powder box chip cannot communicate with the laser printing equipment, and the printing operation is affected.

First embodiment:
the consumable container of the present embodiment is a toner cartridge applied to a laser printing apparatus, and referring to fig. 1 and 2, a packaging assembly of the consumable container includes a packaging box 10, the packaging box 10 has a box body, the box body is a cuboid, and the box body has a plurality of packaging walls, for example, a packaging wall 11 located at the top. The package walls of the package 10 enclose a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped package cavity in which the toner cartridge 15 is placed, see fig. 2 and 3. Preferably, a shock-absorbing member, such as a shock-absorbing member formed of foam or a vacuum bag or the like having a cushioning effect, is provided in the packaging chamber, and abuts against the toner cartridge 15 to avoid damage to the toner cartridge 15 during transportation.
A cartridge chip 20 is provided on one outer wall of the toner cartridge 15, and referring to fig. 4, the cartridge chip 20 has a rectangular substrate 21, and two electrical contacts 22 are provided on one surface of the substrate 21. On the other surface of the substrate 21 an electronic module (not visible in the figures) is provided, which is electrically connected to the electrical contacts 22. The electronic module is internally provided with a processor and a memory, and the memory is used for storing a program to be run by the processor and data related to the toner cartridge 15, wherein the data stored in the memory can comprise the model of the toner cartridge, applicable laser printing equipment, toner color, residual toner amount and the like.
A packaging wall 12 with a smaller area is arranged below the packaging wall 11 at the top, the packaging wall 12 can be folded along one edge of the packaging box 10, a mounting hole 13 is formed in the packaging wall 12, and the mounting hole 13 is a circular through hole which penetrates through the upper surface and the lower surface of the packaging wall 12. Preferably, the packaging wall 12 is adjacent to the packaging wall 11, and the packaging wall 11 is also provided with circular through holes of the same size, and the through holes of the packaging wall 11 and the packaging wall 12 overlap each other when the package 10 is closed.
When the package wall 12 is closed, the conductive connector 30 is located on one side of the compact chip 20, for example, directly above the compact chip 20. Referring to fig. 4 to 6, the conductive connector 30 is generally cylindrical and has a body 31, a concave groove 33 is provided at an upper end of the body 31, and the groove 33 is concave downward from an outer end surface 32 of the conductive connector 30.
As shown in fig. 1, after the package 10 is capped, the outer end surface 32 of the conductive connector 30 is exposed on the package wall 11, that is, the outer end surface 32 of the conductive connector 30 is directly accessible to a user outside the package 10. A ring of sealing ring 38 is arranged on the body 31 near the outer end wall 32, the sealing ring 38 extends around the peripheral wall of the body 31, and the sealing ring 38 is made of elastic materials such as rubber or silica gel. The seal ring 38 is an interference fit with the mounting hole 13 such that the conductive connector 30 is sealed within the mounting hole 13.
Two conductor mounting holes 34 are provided in the body 31 of the conductive connector 30, and two conductors 40 are provided in the conductive connector 30, each conductor 40 being mounted into one conductor mounting hole 34. The conductor mounting hole 34 is a cylindrical through hole penetrating the upper and lower surfaces of the conductive connector 30. As can be seen from fig. 5, the conductive body 40 is in a strip shape, the upper end thereof is an exposed end 41, and the outer diameter of the exposed end 41 is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the conductive body mounting hole 34, so that the exposed end 41 does not extend into the conductive body mounting hole 34, thereby limiting the conductive body 40 in the axial direction of the conductive connecting piece 30 and avoiding the conductive body 40 from being inserted into the conductive body mounting hole 34 for too long distance.
The lower end of the electrical conductor 40, i.e., the end near the compact chip 20, is provided with abutment portions 42, preferably the abutment portions 42 are barb-shaped, each abutment portion 42 abutting on one of the electrical contacts 22.
And, a chip mounting groove 35 is provided at the lower end of the conductive connector 30, the chip mounting groove 35 is recessed upward from the lower end of the conductive connector 30, and the thickness of the chip mounting groove 35 is greater than the thickness of the powder box chip 20, that is, a certain gap is provided between the top wall of the chip mounting groove 35 and the powder box chip 20. In addition, an end of the electrical conductor 40 adjacent the compact chip 20 protrudes from the top wall 36 of the chip mounting slot 35 so that the abutment 42 abuts against the electrical contacts 22 of the compact chip 20.
When the package 10 is in use, the toner cartridge 15 is placed into the housing of the package 10 and the package walls 11, 12 are closed such that the conductors 40 of the conductive connector 30 are in contact with the electrical contacts 22 of the toner cartridge chip 20 of the toner cartridge 15. When the data of the powder box chip 20 is required to be updated or upgraded, an operator only needs to contact the probe of the reader-writer with the conductor 40 of the conductive connecting piece 30 positioned on the outer wall of the packaging box 10, and the exposed end 41 of the conductor 40 is exposed on the packaging box 10, so that the operator can very conveniently contact the probe with the exposed end 41 and send a signal to the electronic module of the consumable chip 20 through the probe and the conductor 40, thereby sending the data required to be updated or the program required to be upgraded. In this way, the data update or upgrade of the powder box chip 20 does not require the removal of the package box 10, does not result in waste of the package box 10, and has low cost of manpower and low cost of data update or upgrade. Of course, if testing of the powder cartridge chip 20 is desired, the powder cartridge chip 20 may also be tested by probes connected to the electrical conductors 40 and reading the data of the powder cartridge chip 20.
In addition, since the conductive connecting piece 30 is in sealing connection with the packaging box 10, and the conductive body 40 is arranged in the conductive connecting piece 30, the conductive body 40 can isolate the electric contact 22 of the powder box chip 20 from the outside, on one hand, the electric connection with the electric contact 22 can be realized through the conductive body 40, and on the other hand, the damage of the electric contact 22 in the transportation and storage processes caused by the exposure of the electric contact 22 on the surface of the packaging box 10 can be avoided.
Second embodiment:
the packaging component of the consumable container of this embodiment includes a packing box, and the packing box has the box body, and the box body is a cuboid, and the box body has a plurality of package walls, and a cuboid form's packing chamber is enclosed to a plurality of package walls of packing box, and the carbon powder box is placed in this packing intracavity.
A cartridge chip is provided on one outer wall of the toner cartridge, the cartridge chip having a rectangular substrate with two electrical contacts provided on one surface and an electronic module provided on the other surface. One package wall of the package is further provided with a mounting hole in which the conductive connecting member 50 is mounted, and referring to fig. 7 and 8, the conductive connecting member 50 is substantially cylindrical and has a body 51, a concave groove 53 is provided at an upper end of the body 51, and the groove 53 is concave downward from an outer end surface 52 of the conductive connecting member 50.
After the packaging box is covered, the outer end face 52 of the conductive connecting piece 50 is exposed on the packaging wall, a circle of sealing ring 58 is arranged at the position, close to the outer end wall 52, of the body 51, the sealing ring 58 extends around the peripheral wall of the body 51, and the sealing ring 58 is made of elastic materials such as rubber or silica gel. The seal 58 is an interference fit with the mounting hole such that the conductive connector 50 is sealed within the mounting hole.
A chip mounting groove 55 is provided at the lower end of the conductive connector 50, and the chip mounting groove 55 is recessed upward from the lower end of the conductive connector 50. After the package is capped, the powder cartridge chip 60 is positioned within the chip mounting groove 55.
The conductive connector 50 is provided with two conductive bodies 62 therein, unlike the first embodiment, the conductive bodies 62 of the present embodiment do not extend to the outer end surface of the body 51, but are provided only at the lower end of the conductive connector 50. Two connection holes 54 are provided on the conductive connection member 50, each connection hole 54 being a through hole penetrating the conductive connection member 50, and thus each connection hole 54 extends to the outer end surface 52 of the conductive connection member 50. Preferably, the electrical conductor 62 is secured to the end of the attachment hole 54, i.e., the end adjacent the chip mounting slot 55, in an interference fit. And, one end of the electrical conductor 62 near the compact chip 60 protrudes from the top wall 56 of the chip mounting slot 55 so that the lower end of the electrical conductor 62 abuts against the electrical contacts of the compact chip 60.
Alternatively, the conductive connecting member 50 may be made of a material such as rubber, and when the conductive connecting member 50 is manufactured, the conductive body 62 made of conductive metal is manufactured in advance, and the conductive connecting member 50 is formed by injection molding in a two-shot molding manner, so that the conductive body 62 is firmly fixed on the conductive connecting member 50.
When the data of the powder cartridge chip 60 is to be updated or upgraded, the operator only needs to insert the probe of the reader/writer into the connection hole 54 and bring the probe into contact with the conductor 62. In this way, the data update or upgrade of the compact chip 60 does not require removal of the package, and does not result in wastage of the package. In addition, the conductive connecting piece 50 is in sealing connection with the packaging box, so that the electrical contact of the powder box chip 60 is not exposed on the packaging box, and the powder box chip 60 is effectively prevented from being damaged in the transportation and storage processes.
Third embodiment:
the packaging component of the consumable container of this embodiment includes a packing box, and the packing box has the box body, and the box body is a cuboid, and the box body has a plurality of package walls, and a cuboid form's packing chamber is enclosed to a plurality of package walls of packing box, and the carbon powder box is placed in this packing intracavity.
A cartridge chip is provided on one outer wall of the toner cartridge, the cartridge chip having a rectangular substrate with two electrical contacts provided on one surface and an electronic module provided on the other surface. One package wall of the package is further provided with a mounting hole in which a conductive connecting member 70 is mounted, and referring to fig. 9 and 10, the conductive connecting member 70 is substantially cylindrical and has a body 71, a concave groove 73 is provided at an upper end of the body 71, and the groove 73 is concave downward from an outer end surface 72 of the conductive connecting member 70.
After the packaging box is covered, the outer end face 72 of the conductive connecting piece 70 is exposed on the packaging wall, a circle of sealing ring 78 is arranged at the position, close to the outer end wall 72, of the body 71, the sealing ring 78 extends around the peripheral wall of the body 71, and the sealing ring 78 is made of elastic materials such as rubber or silica gel. The seal 78 is an interference fit with the mounting hole such that the conductive connector 70 is sealed within the mounting hole.
A chip mounting groove 75 is provided at the lower end of the conductive connector 70, and the chip mounting groove 75 is recessed upward from the lower end of the conductive connector 70. After the package is capped, the powder cartridge chip 80 is positioned within the chip mounting groove 75.
The conductive connector 70 has two conductors 82 disposed therein, and the conductors 82 do not extend to the outer end surface of the body 71, but are disposed only at the lower end of the conductive connector 70. Two connection holes 74 are provided in the conductive connector 70, each connection hole 74 is a through hole penetrating the conductive connector 70, and the conductor 82 is fixed to an end of the connection hole 74, that is, an end near the chip mounting groove 75, in an interference fit. The upper end of the conductor 82 has a connecting portion 83 having a large diameter, and the connecting portion 83 is fixed to the end of the connecting hole 74 in an interference fit manner.
Unlike the second embodiment, the inner wall of the connection hole 74 of the present embodiment is coated with a conductive layer, for example, a conductive film is formed, and the conductive layer is electrically connected to the conductor 82. One end of the electrical conductor 82 adjacent the compact chip 80 protrudes from the top wall 76 of the chip mounting slot 7 so that the lower end of the electrical conductor 82 abuts against the electrical contacts of the compact chip 80.
Thus, when it is desired to update or upgrade the data of the cartridge chip 80, the operator only needs to insert the probe of the reader/writer into the connection hole 74 and contact the probe with the conductive coating of the inner wall of the connection hole 74, without contacting the conductive body 82. Therefore, the distance of the probe extending into the connection hole 74 is short, and the operation is very convenient. In addition, the conductive connecting piece 70 is in sealing connection with the packaging box, so that the electrical contact of the powder box chip 80 is not exposed on the packaging box, and the powder box chip 80 is effectively prevented from being damaged in the transportation and storage processes.
Of course, the above only uses the cartridge as an example to explain, during practical application, the consumable container also can be the ink horn that holds ink, be provided with the ink horn chip as consumable chip on the lateral wall of ink horn, the package assembly of ink horn also can adopt such as above-described structure, set up conductive connection spare on the packing carton, set up the electric conductor in conductive connection spare, realize data's update or upgrading through the electric connection of electric conductor and ink horn chip's electric contact electricity, and shelter from the ink horn chip through conductive connection spare, avoid the electric contact direct exposure of ink horn chip on the packing carton and lead to electric contact damage.
Finally, it should be emphasized that the invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, for example, changes in the specific structure of the conductive connection element, or changes in the shape of the conductive body, or changes in the number of connection holes, etc., which are also intended to be included in the scope of the claims of the invention.
