Detailed Description
The following describes the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The terms "comprising" and "having" and any variations thereof, as referred to in the description of the present application, are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusion. For example, a process, method, system, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of steps or elements is not limited to only those listed but may optionally include other steps or elements not listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus.
It should be noted that, in the embodiments of the present application, words such as "exemplary" or "such as" are used to mean serving as an example, instance, or illustration. Any embodiment or design described herein as "exemplary" or "for example" should not be construed as preferred or advantageous over other embodiments or designs. Rather, the use of words such as "exemplary" or "such as" is intended to present related concepts in a concrete fashion.
In the description of the present application, unless otherwise indicated, the meaning of "a plurality" means two or more. "and/or" herein is merely an association relationship describing an association object, and means that three relationships may exist, for example, a and/or B may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist together, and B exists alone.
With the advent of the universal interconnection era, electronic devices are increasingly being used, and the same user may have multiple electronic devices such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a smart watch, a notebook computer, and the like. The same application may be installed on different electronic devices to meet the needs of the user to use the application on different electrons.
When the same application is installed on different electronic devices, for each electronic device, an installation package corresponding to the application is downloaded through an application market installed by the electronic device, so that the installation of the application is completed on the electronic device. Taking two electronic devices, i.e. a mobile phone and a tablet computer, as an example, if a user wants to install the game 1 on the mobile phone, the user needs to download an installation package of the game 1 in an application market installed on the mobile phone, so as to complete the installation of the game 1 on the mobile phone. If the user also wants to install the game 1 on the tablet, the user also needs to download the installation package of the game 1 in the application market where the tablet is installed to complete the installation of the game 1 on the tablet. In this process, the installation package of the application (e.g., game 1) is repeatedly downloaded, which causes waste of network traffic and takes a long time to install the application.
In addition, usage data for the same application on different electronic devices may not be synchronized, such as: after the user uses the social application to chat on the mobile phone with the social application installed, the social application is downloaded and installed through the tablet computer, but the social application installed on the tablet computer may not store the use data (such as chat records in the social application) on the mobile phone, which brings inconvenience to the user and causes the user experience to be split. In order to solve the problem, in one possible solution, after an application is installed on an electronic device, a user may log in the application using an account, and perform an operation of synchronizing usage data of the application, and in response to the operation, the electronic device may synchronize the usage data of the application from a cloud corresponding to the application according to the account input by the user, for example: after the social application is installed on the tablet computer, the use data of the social application can be synchronized from the corresponding cloud by the login account of the social application. However, this process of synchronizing usage data of an application also consumes network traffic and takes a long time.
Based on this, the embodiment of the application provides an application installation method, which can reduce the waste of network traffic and reduce the time consumption of installing the application. The consumption of network traffic for synchronizing the usage data of the application and the time consumption of synchronizing the usage data of the application can also be reduced while solving the problem of the user's experience of using the application being split.

The technical solutions related to the following embodiments may be implemented in devices having structures as shown in fig. 2 and 3.
It can be understood that each interface of the first electronic device in the embodiments of the present application is exemplified by the first electronic device as a mobile phone.
It is further understood that, in the embodiments of the present application, the first electronic device and/or the second electronic device may perform some or all of the steps in the embodiments of the present application, these steps or operations are merely examples, and other operations or variations of various operations may also be performed in the embodiments of the present application. Furthermore, the various steps may be performed in a different order presented in accordance with embodiments of the present application, and it is possible that not all of the operations in the embodiments of the present application may be performed.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart of an application installation method according to an embodiment of the present application, where the method includes the following steps:
s401, the first electronic device receives a first user operation.
In some embodiments, the first user operation is an operation for installing a first application (or software) on the first electronic device. By way of example, the first application may be a social application, a photographing application, a game application, or other various types of applications, and the application does not limit the type of the first application. Optionally, the first application may be an application included in a web page opened by the first electronic device, or may be an application included in an application market installed by the first electronic device, and the location of the first application is not limited in any way.
In some examples, the first application is exemplified as an application included in an application marketplace for the first electronic device installation. Illustratively, as shown in fig. 5 (1), the first electronic device displays a main interface 500, wherein icons of one or more applications, such as icons of calendar applications, icons of weather applications, etc., are included in the main interface 500, and are not illustrated herein. Icons of different applications can be used to open the running interfaces of the corresponding applications to implement the functions of the corresponding applications. The icons of the plurality of applications include an icon 501 of an application marketplace, and the icon 501 of the application marketplace may be used to open a running interface of the application marketplace. It will be appreciated that the application marketplace contains various types of applications provided by application providers from which a user may download and install one or more applications as desired.
If the first electronic device detects a click operation such as the user's icon 501 of the application marketplace, in response to the operation, the first electronic device displays a running interface 510 of the application marketplace, as shown in (2) in fig. 5. Among other things, various types of applications are included in the application marketplace's running interface 510, such as: game applications, video applications, and the like. Taking the first application as game 1 as an example, the first user operation may be an operation for triggering the installation of game 1, such as a click operation of installation button 511 shown in (2) of fig. 5.
It will be appreciated that the above is taken as an example of opening the running interface of the application market through the icon displayed on the main interface, and that the running interface of the application market may be opened in other manners, for example: the control center of the first electronic device is called up or down, and the running interface of the application market is opened through a control or a card of the control center, or the running interface of the application market can be opened through a latest task list, and the mode of opening the running interface of the application market is not limited.
Alternatively, the application marketplace may also be implemented as other software that can be used to install downloaded applications, such as: various types of applications such as browser applications, video applications, reading applications, and the like.
In some embodiments, various types of applications installed on the first electronic device may also push messages through which the user may also install the downloaded first application. In some examples, taking a video application as an example, as shown in (1) in fig. 6, the first electronic device displays a video interface 600, and a user may display a push message in the video interface 600 during the process of watching the video, through which the first application may be installed and downloaded. Taking the first application as the reading application 1 as an example, the first user operation may be an operation for triggering the installation of the reading application 1. By way of example, the push message may be such as shown by push message 610 shown in fig. 6 (2), through which push message 610 the reading application 1 may be downloaded and installed. Alternatively, the download button 611 may be included in the push message 610, and the first user operation may be, for example, a click operation on the download button 611.
Optionally, a close button 612 may be further included in the push message 610, and the first electronic device detects a click operation, such as a user clicking on the close button 612, in response to which the first electronic device may hide the push message 610, etc.
Alternatively, in this example, the push message may pop up for display during video playback. The push message may be unrelated to the video content being played in the video interface.
In other examples, the push message may be related to content played in the video interface. For example: push messages included in the play interface of the short video. Wherein, the short video refers to video with shorter playing time length such as a few seconds to a few minutes.
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 7 (1), the first electronic device displays a short video interface 700, wherein a push message 701 is included in the short video interface 700, and the push message 701 is available for downloading and installing the first application. The video content played in the short video interface 700 may be related to the push message 701, that is, may be related to the first application, such as content included in the first application, and the like. For example: if the first application is a video application, the video content played in short video interface 700 may be video included in the video application. For another example: if the first application is a reading application, the video content played in short video interface 700 may be content included in the reading application, such as content in novels (fig. 7 (1) is an example).
Also taking the first application as the reading application 1 as an example, the first electronic device detects a click operation such as a user on the push message 701, and in response to this operation, the first electronic device starts downloading and installing the reading application 1, that is, the first user operation may be such as a click operation on the push message 701. Alternatively, in response to this operation, as shown in (2) in fig. 7, the first electronic device displays the download interface 710, and includes a button 711 for downloading the reading application 1 in the download interface 710. The user can download the installation reading application 1 through the button 711, that is, the first user operation may be, for example, a click operation on the button 711.
Optionally, in this example, the user may switch the short video played by the first electronic device by, for example, sliding up or down in the first electronic device, so as to hide the push message 701.
In still other examples, the push message may also be displayed at a location of the first electronic device, such as a pull-down notification bar. For example, as shown in fig. 8 (1), the first electronic device displays an interface 800, where the interface 800 may be a main interface (for example, in fig. 8 (1)), or an operation interface, a lock screen interface, or other interfaces that may be applied. The first electronic device detects an operation such as a user sliding down from the top of the display screen, and in response to the operation, the first electronic device displays a drop-down notification bar 810, wherein one or more notification messages may be included in the drop-down notification bar, and wherein push messages may be included in the notification messages, which push messages may be used to download and install the first application. Also taking reading application 1 as an example, the push message may be a push message 811 as shown in fig. 8 (2). Optionally, shortcut buttons such as move data, mute, etc. may be included in the drop-down notification bar, which are not illustrated here.
The first user operation may be an operation for triggering the installation of the reading application 1. Such as: the first user operation may be, for example, a click operation on the push message 811. For another example: the push message 811 may include an installation button 812 therein, and the first user operation may be, for example, a click operation on the installation button 812, or the like. For another example: after the first electronic device detects a click operation such as a user on the push message 812, the first electronic device may display a download interface 710 such as that shown in fig. 7 (2), in response to the operation, the first user operation may be such as a click operation on a button 711 of the download reading application 1 included in the download interface 710, or the like.
It will be appreciated that the display location of the push message described above is merely illustrative, and in practical application, the push message may also be displayed on other interfaces of the first electronic device, such as a screen locking interface, etc., which is not limited in this application.
It should be further understood that the first user operation described in the embodiments of the present application is merely exemplary, and not limiting, and in practical application, the first user operation may also be other operations, such as: various types of operations such as gesture operation, voice operation, and key operation are not limited in this application.
S402, in response to a first user operation, the first electronic device judges whether the condition of the installation mode 1 is met.
If yes, step S403 is executed, and if not, step S404 is executed.
It will be appreciated that, in this embodiment, the first electronic device performs step S402 as an example, and in other embodiments, step S402 may also be performed by other devices (e.g., other electronic devices).
In this embodiment of the present application, the installation mode 1 refers to a mode that a first electronic device obtains an installation file of a first application from one or more second electronic devices in at least one second electronic device, and installs the first application on the first electronic device according to the installation file, where a communication connection is established between the first electronic device and the at least one second electronic device. Alternatively, the installation mode 1 may also be referred to as a distributed cooperative installation mode, a distributed installation mode, or the like, and is shown in the drawings of the embodiment of the present application in a distributed installation mode.
In some embodiments, the conditions of installation 1 may include: the first electronic equipment and the at least one second electronic equipment are in communication connection, and one or more second electronic equipment in the at least one second electronic equipment stores an installation file of the first application.
In some examples, it may be desirable for the first application to include different versions, and/or the type of electronic device that the first application is capable of supporting. Thus, in other embodiments, the conditions of installation 1 may also include: the version number of the first application corresponding to the installation file of the first application stored in the second electronic device meets the preset version condition, and the device type supported by the installation file of the first application stored in the second electronic device comprises one or more types of the first electronic device.
In some embodiments, the second electronic device that stores the installation file of the first application may or may not have the first application installed. Therefore, the above condition "the installation file of the first application is stored in one or more of the at least one second electronic device" may specifically be: one or more of the at least one second electronic device has a first application installed therein (or, there is a second electronic device in which the first application is installed in the at least one second electronic device). The condition that the version number of the first application corresponding to the installation file of the first application stored in the second electronic device meets the preset version condition may specifically be that: there is a version number of the first application installed by the second electronic device satisfying a preset version condition. The above condition that the device type supported by the installation file of the first application stored in the second electronic device includes the type of the first electronic device may specifically be: the device type supported by the first application installed by the second electronic device includes the first electronic device (or the type including the first electronic device in the device type supported by the first application).
It will be appreciated that in the following embodiments, the description will be given taking, as an example, a second electronic device storing an installation file of a first application, the first application having been installed. The same applies to the case where the first application is not installed, but the second electronic device has the installation file of the first application stored therein.
In some examples, the preset version condition may include: there is a version number of the first application installed by the second electronic device (or a version number of the first application corresponding to the installation file of the first application stored by the second electronic device) that is not lower than the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation.
Optionally, if the first user operation is an installation operation of the first application included in the application market, the preset version condition is as follows: the "the version number of the first application in which the second electronic device is installed is not lower than the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation" may also be described as "the version number of the first application in which the second electronic device is installed is not lower than the version number of the first application included in the application market".
It may be appreciated that the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation may or may not be the highest version number of the first application. Therefore, in the case that the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation is not the highest version number of the first application, the version number of the first application installed by the second electronic device may be lower than the highest version number of the first application when not lower than the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation. In some embodiments, the above-mentioned preset version condition may further include: there is a second electronic device installed with a version number of the first application that is not lower than the highest version number of the first application. It is understood that the highest version number of the first application may refer to the version number of the highest version first application among the first applications of all version numbers that the application provider developed and submitted to the marketplace.
In other embodiments, in the case where the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation is the highest version number of the first application, the above-mentioned preset version condition "the version number of the first application installed in the second electronic device is not lower than the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation" may also be described as "the version number of the first application installed in the second electronic device is not lower than the highest version number of the first application".
It may be understood that, if the device type supported by the first application (or the installation file of the first application) includes the first electronic device, it indicates that the first application may be installed and used on the first electronic device, and if the device type supported by the first application does not include the first electronic device, it indicates that the first application may not be installed and used on the first electronic device.
It is also understood that the condition "the first electronic device is included in the device types supported by the first application" of the above-described installation mode 1 is exemplified by the same device types supported by the first application of different version numbers. In some embodiments, the device types supported by the first application of different version numbers may also be different, in other words, if the device type supported by the first application of a certain version number includes the first electronic device, the first application of the version number may be installed and used on the first electronic device, and if the device type supported by the first application of the certain version number does not include the first electronic device, the first application of the version number may not be installed and used on the first electronic device. Therefore, the conditions of the mounting mode 1 may also include: the device types supported by the presence version number include a first application (or an installation file of the first application) of the first electronic device.
The condition in the installation mode 1 includes that the first electronic device establishes communication connection with at least one second electronic device, a first application is installed in one or more second electronic devices in the at least one second electronic device, a version number of the first application installed by the second electronic device is not lower than a version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation, and a device type supported by the first application includes the first electronic device as an example. Fig. 9 is a flowchart of a method for determining whether the condition of the installation mode 1 is satisfied, where the method may be performed by a first electronic device or may be performed by another device, and fig. 9 is performed by the first electronic device, and the method includes the following steps:
s901, the first electronic device judges whether the first electronic device establishes communication connection with at least one second electronic device.
If yes, step S903 is executed, and if no, step S902 is executed.
The process of establishing the communication connection between the first electronic device and the at least one second electronic device is described above, and will not be described herein.
S902, the first electronic device determines that the condition of the installation mode 1 is not satisfied.
S903, the first electronic device judges whether one or more second electronic devices in the at least one second electronic device are provided with the first application.
If so, step S904 is performed, and if not, step S902 is performed.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may obtain an identifier of an installed application of the second electronic device, determine whether an identifier of the first application exists therein according to the identifier of the installed application, if so, the first electronic device may determine that the second electronic device installs the first application, and if not, the first electronic device may determine that the second electronic device does not install the first application. By way of example, the identification of the application may be a name of the application, a name of an installation package of the application, or the like, which may be used to uniquely identify the application.
In other embodiments, the first electronic device may send a request message to the second electronic device, which may be used to query the second electronic device as to whether the first application is installed. Accordingly, the second electronic device may send a response message to the first electronic device, which may be used to indicate whether the second electronic device installs the first application. The first electronic device may determine, according to the response message, whether the first application is installed in the second electronic device among the at least one second electronic device.
It is understood that the manner in which the first electronic device determines whether the second electronic device is installed with the first application is not limited in any way.
It will also be appreciated that this step is exemplified by the first electronic device performing a judgment operation that may also be performed by the application marketplace in which the first electronic device is installed. Such as: the application market may obtain an identifier of an installed application of the second electronic device, determine, according to the identifier of the installed application, whether an identifier of the first application exists therein, and further determine whether the first application is installed by the second electronic device. For another example: the application market can directly query whether the second electronic device has the identifier of the first application, and the like, so as to determine whether the second electronic device is provided with the first application. For another example: the application marketplace may send a request message to the second electronic device for confirming whether the first application is installed, and further determine whether the first application is installed according to a response message of the second electronic device.
S904, the first electronic device judges whether the version number of the first application installed by the second electronic device is not lower than the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation.
If not, step S905 is performed, and if not, step S902 is performed.
It will be appreciated that there may be one or more second electronic devices having version numbers of the installed first application not lower than the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation, i.e. there may be one or more second electronic devices satisfying the conditions described in this step. Alternatively, the version numbers of the first applications satisfying the conditions described in this step may be the same or different.
In some examples, taking the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation as the highest version number as an example, the version number of the first application satisfying the condition in this step may be equal to the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation. In other examples, taking the example that the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation is not the highest version number, the version number of the first application satisfying the condition in this step may be higher than or equal to the version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation.
S905, the first electronic device judges whether the device type supported by the first application comprises the first electronic device.
If so, step S906 is performed, and if not, step S902 is performed.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may determine the device types supported by the first application according to a "DeviceType" parameter included in the configuration information of the first application. Taking the first electronic device as an example of a mobile phone, if the "DeviceType" parameter includes "mobile", or the "DeviceType" parameter is set to "default", etc., the first electronic device may determine that the device type supported by the first application includes the first electronic device, otherwise, the first electronic device may determine that the device type supported by the first application does not include the first electronic device.
It is understood that the execution order of steps S903 to S905 is not limited in the present application.
S906, the first electronic device determines that the condition of the installation mode 1 is satisfied.
Optionally, when the condition of the installation mode 1 includes that the first electronic device and at least one second electronic device establish a communication connection, one or more second electronic devices in the at least one second electronic device store an installation file of the first application, a version number of the first application corresponding to the installation file of the first application stored in the second electronic device is not lower than a version number of the first application corresponding to the first user operation, and a device type supported by the installation file of the first application stored in the second electronic device includes the first electronic device, the method for determining whether the condition of the installation mode 1 is satisfied is applicable.
S403, the first electronic device installs the first application in an installation mode 1.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may obtain an installation file of the first application from the second electronic device that satisfies the condition of the installation mode 1, and complete the installation of the first application by creating an installation directory and parsing the installation file.
In some examples, an installation package of the first application, such as an (android package, APK) file, may be stored in the second electronic device, and the installation file may be the installation package, or may also be an installation directory file of the first application. It will be understood that the installation directory file refers to a series of files generated when the second electronic device completes the installation of the first application, such as: including but not limited to lib files, etc. In other examples, the second electronic device may not store the installation package of the first application, and the installation file may be an installation destination directory file of the first application.
It is understood that the first electronic device may acquire the installation file of the first application from the second electronic device directly or indirectly. Such as: when the first electronic device establishes communication connection with the second electronic device, the installation file of the first application is synchronized from the second electronic device, and then, when the first electronic device executes the installation process of the first application, the installation file of the first application does not need to be acquired from the second electronic device again. Optionally, when the first electronic device establishes a communication connection with the second electronic device, the first electronic device may synchronize installation files of other applications, or other types of files or data, etc. from the second electronic device, so as to facilitate subsequent use of the first electronic device.
If the second electronic device satisfying the condition of the installation mode 1 includes a plurality of second electronic devices, in some examples, the first electronic device may acquire the installation file from any one of the second electronic devices. In other examples, the version numbers of the first applications installed by the plurality of second electronic devices may be different, and the first electronic device may obtain the installation file of the first application with the highest version number, and of course, the first electronic device may also select to obtain the installation file of the first application with other version numbers, for example: the application is not limited to the installation file of the first application with the same version number as the first application corresponding to the first user operation.
In some embodiments, before the first electronic device performs step S403, the first electronic device may output a reminder message (e.g., a display screen displays the reminder message, a speaker broadcasts the reminder message, etc.), so as to remind the user that the first application will be installed in the installation mode 1, so that the user knows the mode in which to install the first application. By way of example, the first electronic device may display a reminder message 1001, such as shown in (1) of fig. 10, in a running interface 510 of an application marketplace, such as shown in (2) of fig. 5, an interface, such as shown in (2) of fig. 6, an interface, such as shown in (2) of fig. 7, and so on. The content of the reminder message 1001 may be such as "detect that an existing device within the super terminal installed the application, the application will be installed in a distributed installation manner". In fig. 10, (1) is taken as an example, where a reminder message is displayed on the running interface 510 of the application market.
In other embodiments, before executing step S403, the first electronic device may also output a reminder message to remind the user whether to agree to install the first application in the installation mode 1. If the user agrees, the first electronic device may perform step S403, and if the user does not agree, the first electronic device may perform step S404. By way of example, the first electronic device may also display a reminder message 1002, such as shown in (2) in fig. 10, in a running interface 510 of the application marketplace, such as shown in (2) in fig. 5, an interface, such as shown in (2) in fig. 6, an interface, such as shown in (2) in fig. 7, and so on. The content of the alert message 1002 may be, for example, "detect that an existing device within the super terminal installed the application, whether the application is approved to be installed in a distributed installation manner. In fig. 10, (2) is also exemplified by the reminder message being displayed on the running interface 510 of the application market.
Optionally, in this embodiment, the first electronic device may further display an consent button 1003 and a rejection button 1004. If the user agrees, the user can perform an operation such as clicking on the agreeing button 1003, and the first electronic device performs step S403 in response to the operation. If the user does not agree, the user may perform an operation such as clicking on the reject button 1004, and the first electronic device performs step S404 in response to the operation. Based on the scheme, whether the application is installed in the installation mode 1 is selected by the user, so that the requirement of the user for installing the application can be met, and the user experience is improved.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may also display a reminder message, such as that shown in (1) of fig. 10, or a reminder message, such as that shown in (2) of fig. 10, before performing step S402. Alternatively, when the reminder message such as that shown in (2) of fig. 10 is displayed, the first electronic device may also execute step S402 after detecting the consent operation performed by the user. In this way, the power consumption of the first electronic device to determine whether the condition of the mounting mode 1 is satisfied can be reduced.
In some embodiments, the second electronic device that is obtained the installation file of the first application may also output a reminder message reminding the user that the first electronic device is to obtain the installation file of the first application from the second electronic device. For example, taking the second electronic device as a tablet computer, the tablet computer may display a reminder message 1101, such as the one shown in (1) of fig. 11, where the reminder message 1101 may facilitate the user to learn that the installation file of the first application will be obtained from the tablet computer. Alternatively, the tablet computer may also display a reminder message 1102 as shown in fig. 11 (2), where the reminder message 1102 may be used to remind the user whether to agree to obtain the installation file of the first application from the tablet computer.
Optionally, the tablet may also display an agreeing button 1103 and a rejecting button 1104. If the tablet computer detects a click operation, such as a click operation, of the consent button 1103 by the user, it is indicated that the user agrees that the first electronic device obtains the installation file of the first application from the tablet computer, and in response to the operation, the tablet computer allows the first electronic device to obtain the installation file of the first application. If the tablet computer detects a click operation such as the user clicking the reject button 1104, it indicates that the user does not agree to the first electronic device to acquire the installation file of the first application from the tablet computer, and in response to the operation, the tablet computer does not allow the first electronic device to acquire the installation file of the first application. In this way, the data security of the second electronic device can be ensured.
S404, the first electronic equipment installs the first application in an installation mode 2.
In this embodiment of the present application, the installation mode 2 refers to a mode in which the first electronic device downloads an installation file of the first application from the cloud, and completes installation of the first application according to the installation file.
Based on the above technical scheme, when the first electronic device determines that the condition of the installation mode 1 is satisfied, the first application is installed in the installation mode 1. That is, after one electronic device is communicatively connected to a plurality of other electronic devices, one electronic device installs one application, and if the electronic device with which the communication connection is established has installed the application satisfying the condition or includes an installation file of the application satisfying the condition, the electronic device acquires the installation file of the application satisfying the condition, and completes the installation of the application according to the installation file. In this way, the electronic device does not need to repeatedly download the installation package of the application from the application market again, and thus the waste of network traffic can be reduced. And, since the time for downloading the installation package of the application is reduced, the time for installing the application is also reduced.
Optionally, to improve the user's seamless usage experience of the first application, the first electronic device may further synchronize (or acquire) usage data of the first application. In this embodiment of the present application, the usage data of the first application refers to data generated by a user during a process of using the first application after the first application is installed. Such as: taking the first application as a social application for example, the usage data may comprise chat records or the like. For another example: taking the first application as a video application as an example, the usage data may be a viewing record or the like.
In some implementations, the first electronic device may synchronize usage data of the first application from at least one second electronic device. Alternatively, the second electronic device, which synchronizes the usage data of the first application, may be one or more. Based on the scheme, the first electronic equipment can directly synchronize the use data of the application from the second electronic equipment in the process of installing the application, so that seamless use experience is brought to a user. The use data of the application is not required to be downloaded from the cloud according to the account number of the application, so that the consumption of network traffic can be reduced. And the first electronic equipment can directly synchronize the use data of the first application without the operation of inputting the login account in the first application installed by the first electronic equipment and the operation of triggering the synchronization user data, so that the time consumption of the user operation and the use data of the synchronization application can be reduced.
In some examples, the first electronic device may synchronize usage data of the first application from a second electronic device that obtains an installation file of the first application, that is, the second electronic device that obtains the installation file of the first application is the same as the second electronic device that synchronizes the usage data of the first application.
In other examples, the first electronic device may synchronize usage data of the first application from other second electronic devices, that is, the second electronic device to which the obtained installation file of the first application belongs is different from the second electronic device to which the usage data of the synchronized first application belongs.
Alternatively, since the version numbers of the first applications installed by the different second electronic devices may be different, the usage data of the first applications of different version numbers may also be incompatible. Thus, in this example, the first electronic device may synchronize the usage data of the first application having the same version number as the version number corresponding to the installation file of the first application. That is, the version number of the first application installed by the first electronic device is the same as the version number of the first application corresponding to the acquired usage data of the first application (hereinafter, the version number of the corresponding first application is simply referred to as the corresponding version number), so as to avoid a situation that the usage data of the first application cannot be used due to incompatibility of the first application installed by the first electronic device and the acquired usage data of the first application.
Alternatively, there may be a plurality of second electronic devices including the usage data of the first application satisfying the condition in this example (i.e., the version number corresponding to the usage data of the first application is the same as the version number of the first application installed by the first electronic device), and the usage data of the first application included in each of the second electronic devices may also be different. Therefore, the first electronic device can synchronize the usage data of the first application with the largest amount of data so that the user can view the largest usage record. Alternatively, the first electronic device may synchronize usage data of the first application closest to the time when the first application is installed by the current first electronic device, that is, usage data of the first application with the latest date, so that the user can view the latest (or latest) usage record. Or the first electronic device can synchronize the usage data of the first application with the least data amount, so that the user can be ensured to see the usage records at one time, and the usage data of the first application can occupy less storage space on the first electronic device. Of course, the first electronic device may also synchronize the usage data of the first application of other data amounts.
Alternatively, the version numbers of the first applications installed by the different second electronic devices may be different, but the usage data of the first applications of different version numbers may be compatible. Therefore, the first electronic device may synchronize the usage data of the first application with the largest data amount, or the usage data of the first application with the latest date, or the usage data of the first application with the smallest data amount, or the usage data of the first application with other data amounts, or the like. The version number corresponding to the usage data of the synchronized first application may be the same or different from the version number corresponding to the acquired installation file of the first application (i.e., the version number of the first application installed by the first electronic device).
In the above embodiment, the first electronic device synchronizes the usage data of the first application from one second electronic device, and the first electronic device may synchronize the usage data of the first application from a plurality of second electronic devices, for example, the first electronic device may acquire the usage data of the first application from different second electronic devices, and the usage data of the first application may be partially or completely the same or completely different.
It may be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, the usage data of the first application acquired by the first electronic device from the second electronic device may be part of the usage data of the first application in the second electronic device, or may be all of the usage data of the first application.
It may be further understood that in the embodiments of the present application, there is no specific limitation on which second electronic device or second electronic devices the first electronic device specifically synchronizes the usage data of the first application, and which first application is specifically synchronized.
In some embodiments, before the first electronic device synchronizes the usage data of the first application, a reminder message may also be output to remind the user that the usage data of the first application is to be synchronized from the second electronic device, so that the user knows the manner in which the usage data of the first application is to be synchronized. Alternatively, the first electronic device may output a reminder message reminding the user whether to agree to synchronize the usage data of the first application from the second electronic device. If the user agrees, the user can execute an agreeing operation, and the first electronic device synchronizes the use data of the first application from the second electronic device in response to the operation of the user. If the user does not agree, the user may perform a rejection operation, and the first electronic device does not synchronize usage data of the first application from the second electronic device in response to the operation of the user. Alternatively, the first electronic device may not synchronize the usage data of the first application, or may also synchronize the usage data of the first application from the cloud.
In some embodiments, the second electronic device that is acquired the usage data of the first application may also output a reminder message that may be used to remind the user that the first electronic device is to acquire the usage data of the first application from the second electronic device. Alternatively, the alert message may be used to alert the user if the user agrees to the first electronic device to obtain usage data for the first application from the second electronic device. Optionally, if the user agrees, the user may also perform an agreeing operation, in response to which the second electronic device allows the first electronic device to synchronize the usage data of the first application. If the user does not agree, the user may perform a rejection operation, in response to which the second electronic device does not allow the first electronic device to synchronize usage data of the first application. Subsequently, the first electronic device may synchronize the usage data of the first application from the other second electronic devices, or may not synchronize the usage data of the first application.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may also output a plurality of ways of synchronizing the usage data of the first application before synchronizing the usage data of the first application from the second electronic device, such that a user may select the way of synchronizing as desired. For example, as shown in fig. 12, the first electronic device may present a data synchronization interface 1200, where a plurality of ways of synchronizing usage data of the first application are included in the data synchronization interface 1200, such as: super terminal sync 1201, cloud sync 1202, etc. The first electronic device detects a selected operation, such as a user selection of the superterminal sync 1201, in response to which the first electronic device synchronizes usage data of the first application from the second electronic device.
Alternatively, the first electronic device detects a selected operation, such as user selection of the cloud synchronization 1202, in response to which the first electronic device synchronizes usage data of the first application from the cloud. In some examples, the first electronic device may download usage data corresponding to the account from the cloud according to a login account of a first application installed by the second electronic device, e.g., the first electronic device may obtain the login account of the first application when obtaining an installation file of the first application. In other examples, after detecting that a user inputs an account for a first application installed in the first electronic device, the first electronic device downloads usage data corresponding to the account from a cloud according to the account. In still other examples, upon detecting a selected operation, such as the user selecting the cloud synchronization 1202, the first electronic device may display an account input interface through which the user may input a login account of the first application, and download corresponding usage data from the cloud according to the login account input by the user.
In further embodiments, to enhance the user's seamless use experience, the first electronic device may also synchronize the installation data of the first application. Alternatively, the first electronic device may configure the first application based on the synchronized installation data of the first application. In this embodiment of the present application, the installation data (i.e., configuration information) of the first application refers to information that may be used in the use process of the first application. By way of example, the installation data of the first application may include, but is not limited to, one or more of shortcuts, service card information, widget information, rights authorization information, and the like. The shortcut may refer to whether the first application is provided with the shortcut, and the position of the shortcut, for example: desktop, pull down or pull up control center, negative one-screen or other positions, etc. The service card information may refer to whether the first application is provided with service cards, the number, location, content, etc. of the provided service cards. The widget information may refer to whether the first application is provided with widgets, the number, location, content, etc. of the provided widgets. The rights authorization information refers to rights granted to the first application, such as: accessing the permission of address book, call record, information, position, etc., and calling the permission of camera, microphone, etc.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may synchronize the installation data of the first application from the at least one second electronic device. Alternatively, the first electronic device may synchronize the second electronic device of the installation data of the first application with one or more second electronic devices. Optionally, the second electronic device to which the installation data of the synchronized first application belongs and the second electronic device to which the acquired installation file of the first application belongs may be the same or different. The second electronic device to which the installation data of the synchronized first application belongs and the second electronic device to which the usage data of the synchronized first application belongs may be the same or different. Based on the scheme, the first electronic equipment can directly synchronize the installation data of the application from the second electronic equipment in the process of installing the application. The installation data of the applications may be set on other electronic devices by the user according to the habit, so that after the first electronic device completes the installation of the applications, the user can enjoy the setting of the applications before enjoying on the first electronic device, without setting once again on the first electronic device, the operation of the user can be reduced, and meanwhile, seamless use experience can be brought to the user.
Optionally, the version number corresponding to the installation data of the synchronized first application may be the same or different from the version number corresponding to the obtained installation file of the first application. The version number corresponding to the installation data of the synchronized first application may be the same or different from the version number corresponding to the usage data of the synchronized first application.
Optionally, if the installation data of the first application with the different version numbers are not compatible, the first electronic device may synchronize the installation data of the first application with the same version number as the version number corresponding to the obtained installation file of the first application. If the installation data of the first application with different version numbers are compatible, the first electronic device can synchronize the installation data of the first application with different version numbers corresponding to the obtained installation file of the first application. Alternatively, the first electronic device may synchronize the installation data of the first application in a similar manner to the synchronization of the usage data of the first application, the installation data of the first application having the greatest or least amount of synchronization data, and the like.
It may be understood that in the embodiment of the present application, the installation data of the first application that is synchronized by the first electronic device from the second electronic device may be part of the installation data of the first application of the second electronic device, or may be all the installation data of the first application.
It may also be appreciated that in the embodiment of the present application, there is no specific limitation on which second electronic device or second electronic devices the first electronic device specifically synchronizes the installation data of the first application, and which installation data of the first application is specifically synchronized.
In some embodiments, before the first electronic device synchronizes the installation data of the first application, a reminder message may also be output to remind the user that the installation data of the first application is to be synchronized from the second electronic device, so that the user knows the manner in which the installation data of the first application is to be synchronized. Or, the first electronic device may also output a reminder message to remind the user whether to agree to synchronize the installation data of the first application from the second electronic device. If the user agrees, the user can execute an agreeing operation, and the first electronic device synchronizes the installation data of the first application from the second electronic device in response to the operation of the user. If the user does not agree, the user may perform a rejection operation, and the first electronic does not synchronize the installation data of the first application from the second electronic in response to the operation of the user. Alternatively, the first electronic device may not synchronize the installation data of the first application. As a later matter, it may be set by the user himself during the use of the first application.
In some embodiments, the second electronic device that is acquired the installation data of the first application may also output a reminder message that may be used to remind the user that the first electronic device is to acquire the installation data of the first application from the second electronic device. Or, the reminding message may be used to remind the user whether to agree to the first electronic device to obtain the installation data of the first application from the second electronic device. Optionally, if the user agrees, the user may also perform an agreeing operation, in response to which the second electronic device allows the first electronic device to synchronize the installation data of the first application. If the user does not agree, the user may perform a rejection operation, in response to which the second electronic device does not allow the first electronic device to synchronize the installation data of the first application. Subsequently, the first electronic device may synchronize the installation data of the first application from the other second electronic devices, or may not synchronize the installation data of the first application.
In some embodiments, after the first electronic device completes synchronizing the usage data of the first application, the first electronic device may also output a reminder message to remind the user that the synchronization of the usage data of the first application has been completed. And/or after the first electronic device completes the synchronization of the installation data of the first application, the second electronic device may also output a reminder message to remind the user that the synchronization of the installation data of the first application has been completed.
It may be understood that, in the embodiment of the present application, the operation of synchronizing the usage data of the first application and the operation of synchronizing the installation data of the first application may be performed simultaneously or sequentially, which is not limited in this application.
In some embodiments, the user may also uninstall the application through the first electronic device and/or the second electronic device. Taking an example that a user uninstalls an application by using a first electronic device, as shown in fig. 13, an exemplary flowchart of a method for uninstalling an application according to an embodiment of the present application is provided, where the method includes the following steps:
s1301, the first electronic equipment receives a second user operation.
In some embodiments, the second user operation is an operation for uninstalling the second application on the first electronic device. The second application may be a social application, a photographing application, a game application, or other various applications, which is not limited in the type of the second application.
Take the example of a user uninstalling an application through an icon of the application on the desktop. For example, as shown in fig. 14 (1), the first electronic device displays the main interface 500, wherein the description of the main interface 500 is referred to the description in fig. 5. Taking the second application as an example of the video application, the second user operation may be an operation for triggering the uninstalling of the video application. If the first electronic device detects an operation such as a user pressing the icon 1401 of the video application for a long time, in response to the operation, the first electronic device may display an uninstall button 1402 as shown in (2) in fig. 14, and the user may implement uninstallation of the video application through the uninstall button 1402, as a second user operation may be such as a click operation on the uninstall button 1402. Optionally, the first electronic device may also display other function buttons, such as: a share button 1403, etc.
Or, the first electronic device detects a click operation of the uninstall button 1402 by the user, and in response to the operation, as shown in (3) in fig. 14, the first electronic device first displays an uninstall interface 1404, and the uninstall interface 1404 can be used to confirm the uninstall intention of the user again, so as to avoid the occurrence of a false uninstall. Among them, the uninstall interface 1404 includes an uninstall button 1406 and a cancel button 1405, and the user can implement uninstall of the video application through the uninstall button 1406, for example, the second user operation can be such as a click operation on the uninstall button 1406. The first electronic device detects a click operation such as a user on the cancel button 1405, and in response to the operation, the first electronic device exits the process of uninstalling the video application.
It will be appreciated that the foregoing is merely an example of unloading an application through icons on a desktop, and that unloading an application may be implemented in other manners, such as: by setting up applications, antivirus software, etc.
It is also understood that the second user operation described in the embodiments of the present application is merely an exemplary illustration and not a limitation of the present application. In practical applications, the second user operation may be other operations, such as gesture operation, voice operation, and key operation, which are not limited in this application.
S1302, responding to a second user operation, and executing an operation of unloading a second application by the first electronic device.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may offload the second application in offload mode 1. The uninstalling mode 1 refers to a mode that the first electronic device retains part of information (or called data) of the second application, that is, a mode that the part of information of the second application is deleted. Alternatively, some of the retained information of the second application may be used by other electronic devices, such as when the second application is installed by the second electronic device. That is, the first electronic device here may function as the same electronic device as the above-described second electronic device, and part of the information of the second application may be acquired from the first electronic device by the other electronic device.
Based on the scheme, when a certain application on the electronic device is unloaded, part of information of the application can be reserved, and the part of information can be used for other electronic devices, such as when the application is installed, so that seamless experience can be brought to a user. Meanwhile, other electronic equipment is prevented from downloading the information of the application from the application market, the cloud end and the like, and waste of network traffic is reduced. Or, the user is prevented from setting the information again on other electronic equipment, the user operation is reduced, convenience is brought to the user, and the like.
In some embodiments, the partial information of the second application may include an installation file of the second application, an installation file index (the installation file index may also be referred to as distribution package information) of the second application, and the like. Wherein the description of the installation file of the second application may refer to the description of the installation file of the first application. The installation file index of the second application may be used to find an installation file of the second application. By way of example, the installation file index of the second application may include, but is not limited to, one or more of a name of an installation file of the second application (or a name of an installation package of the second application), a save address of the installation file of the second application, a version number of the second application corresponding to the installation file of the second application (hereinafter, the version number of the corresponding second application is simply referred to as a corresponding version number), and the like.
In some embodiments, after the first electronic device establishes a communication connection with the at least one second electronic device, the first electronic device and the at least one second electronic device may synchronize data of each other. In some examples, the first electronic device and the second electronic device may implement an operation of synchronizing data of the other party through a distributed database, where the distributed data may include related information such as data of the first electronic device and data of the second electronic device, where the first electronic device and the second electronic device may access the data of the other party through the distributed database. Alternatively, the first electronic device and the at least one second electronic device may share a distributed database, or each of the first electronic device and the at least one second electronic device corresponds to a distributed database.
By way of example, the distributed database may be a database employing a key-value pair (K-V) data model, wherein the saved data may be stored in the form of key-value pairs. Alternatively, the distributed database may also employ other data models, and the present application is not limited thereto. It will be appreciated that the distributed database may have other names, and the names do not limit the functionality thereof.
In some embodiments, the first electronic device may include at least two storage areas, such as a local storage area and a distributed database. In some examples, the local storage area and the distributed database may be understood as a logical division of the storage space of the first electronic device, e.g., a portion of the storage space of the first electronic device is referred to as the distributed database, and other storage spaces other than the distributed database are referred to as the local storage area. Alternatively, the installation file index of the second application may be stored in the local storage area and the distributed data. Thus, in some embodiments, the first electronic device retaining the installation file index of the second application may refer to retaining the local storage area and the installation file index of the second application in the distributed database, or retaining the installation file index of one of the second applications.
Alternatively, the installation file of the second application may be stored only in the local storage area of the first electronic device. In some embodiments, after the first electronic device reserves the installation file of the second application stored in the local storage area, the first electronic device may modify a save address of the installation file of the second application, rename the installation file of the second application, or the like, so as to ensure that the first electronic device is prevented from mistaking the second application as the installed application in the case that the installation file of the second application is reserved.
In this embodiment, the first electronic device may delete other information related to the second application than the reserved information, such as usage data of the second application, and the like. Alternatively, the information related to the usage data of the second application may be stored in a local storage area of the first electronic device, or may be stored in a distributed database.
In other embodiments, the partial information of the second application may include usage data of the second application. Alternatively, the usage data of the second application may be stored in a local storage area and a distributed database, and the first electronic device may retain the usage data of the second application in the local storage area and/or the distributed database. Alternatively, the usage data of the second application may be stored only in a local storage area or in a distributed database.
Optionally, in this embodiment, the part information of the part application may further include a usage data index of the second application, where the usage data index of the second application may be used to find the usage data of the second application. Illustratively, the usage data index of the second application includes one or more of a name of the second application (or a name of an installation file of the second application, or a name of an installation package of the second application), a save address of usage data of the second application, a version number corresponding to the usage data of the second application, and the like.
Alternatively, the usage data index of the second application may be stored in the local storage area and the distributed database, and the first electronic device may reserve the usage data index of the second application in the local storage area and/or the distributed database. Alternatively, the usage data index of the second application may be stored only in the local storage area or in the distributed database.
Also, in this embodiment, the first electronic device may delete other information related to the second application, such as an installation file of the second application, an installation file index of the second application, and the like, in addition to the reserved information.
In still other embodiments, the partial information of the second application may include installation data of the second application. Optionally, the embodiment may further include an installation data index of the second application. Illustratively, the installation data index of the second application may be used to find the installation data of the second application.
