Detailed Description
Illustrative embodiments are described below, other embodiments may be used in addition to or in place of them. Obvious or unnecessary details may be omitted for the sake of space saving or more efficient description. Some embodiments may be implemented with additional components or steps and/or without all of the components or steps shown.
Fig. 1 is a front view of an embodiment of a blanket and bag combination, fig. 2 is a rear view of the blanket and bag combination of fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a rear view of the blanket and bag combination of fig. 1, wherein the blanket is folded. Fig. 4-5 are rear views of the blanket and bag combination of fig. 1, with the bag turned inside out. Fig. 6-7 are rear views of the blanket and pocket combination of fig. 1, with the pocket inverted to receive the folded blanket. Figure 8 is a rear view of the blanket and pouch combination of figure 1, with the pouch inverted to accommodate the blanket. Fig. 9 is a perspective rear view of the blanket and bag combination of fig. 1 with a plurality of fasteners disengaged from one another.
Referring to both fig. 1 and 2, the blanket and bag combination includes a blanket 11 and a bag 13. Blanket 11 has a first end 111, a second end 113, a third end 115, and a fourth end 117. The second end 113 is opposite the first end 111. The third end 115 connects the first end 111 and the second end 113. The fourth end 117 connects the first end 111 with the second end 113 and is opposite the third end 115. The bag 13 is positioned over a portion of the third end 115. A plurality of fasteners 131 and an opening 133 are located on the bag 13.
In this embodiment, the upper portion of the bag 13 overlaps a portion of the third end 115, including, but not limited to, overlapping one third of the length of the third end 115. In other embodiments of the invention, the entire pouch 13 can be placed within the boundary of the edge of the third end 115 of the blanket 11 or near the edge of the third end 115, as such, the blanket 11 can cover the entire pouch 13, thereby saving the entire combined space.
Referring to fig. 3, from a rear view of the blanket and pouch combination, the first end 111 and the second end 113 are folded toward the center of the blanket 11, thereby reducing the size of the blanket 11.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5, the opening 133 can receive the blanket 11 when the blanket 11 is folded. The bag 13 is then turned inside out to form a carrying bag and the third end 115 is inserted into the bag 13. When turned inside out, the bag 13 exposes its inner liner on the outside. For example, a decorative pattern of baseball, basketball, football, or the like may be displayed on the outside. In the present embodiment, the shape of the bag 13 is circular, but the shape of the bag 13 of the present invention is not limited to circular.
Referring to fig. 6-8, opening 133 can receive the folded blanket 11 after bag 13 is turned inside out. Fourth end 117 is folded toward the center of blanket 11, further reducing the size of blanket 11. The folded blanket 11 then passes through opening 113 into the interior space of pouch 13. Thus, the pocket 13 can house the blanket 11, as shown in FIG. 8.
Referring to both fig. 1 and 9, a plurality of fasteners 131 connect the pouch 13 to the blanket 11. When the plurality of fasteners 131 are disengaged from one another, the blanket 11 can be removed from the pocket 13. When these fasteners 131 are engaged with each other, the blanket 11 can be attached to the pouch 13, as such, the blanket 11 can be removably secured to the pouch 13. In one embodiment of the invention, the plurality of fasteners 131 are snaps located near the edge, for example, at the third end 115 of the blanket 11.
Fig. 10 is a perspective rear view of another blanket and bag combination embodiment of the present invention wherein the plurality of fasteners 131 are velcro strips and the velcro strips are disengaged from one another. Referring to both fig. 1 and 10, the blanket and bag combination comprises a blanket 21 and a bag 23. The bag 23 includes a plurality of fasteners 231 and an opening 233. Referring to fig. 10, these fasteners 231 comprise a plurality of hook and loop fasteners located near the edge, e.g., the third end 115 of the blanket 11. When these fastening strips 231 are disengaged from each other, the blanket 21 can be removed from the pocket 23. When these fastening strips 231 are engaged with each other, the blanket 21 may be attached to the pouch 23, and as such, the blanket 21 may be removably secured to the pouch 23.
With the solution of the invention, the user can replace the blanket with a different type of material, size, pattern or logo. For example, the blanket and bag combination may accommodate different blankets with different baseball team signs, suitable for different baseball games. Because the blanket is replaceable, the handbag can be reused, even if the blanket wears out or is damaged, ensuring that the product is environmentally friendly and durable.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the number and location of the plurality of fasteners 131 may be user-defined to facilitate the attachment of the plurality of blankets 11 to the single pouch 13. Such that the pouch 13 carries multiple blankets 11 simultaneously and distributes them for home/social activities.
Referring again to fig. 8, the bag 13 further includes a closure 135. The closer 135 is located at the opening 133. For example, the closer 135 has a plurality of engagement teeth along the opening 133, as such, the closer 135 may cause the bag opening 133 to close before or after the bag 13 is inverted. In some embodiments, the closure may be a zipper, hook and loop fastener, or other linking assembly.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the bag 13 further comprises a plurality of side loops 137. The side loops 137 may be connected to the carrying strap when the bag 13 is turned inside out to form a carrying bag. Thus, the user can replace a different type of carrying strap for the decorative pattern of the bag.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the pouch 13 has an inner liner that can be exposed when the pouch 13 is turned inside out, exposing a decorative pattern such as baseball, basketball, or football. In other embodiments of the invention, the liner comprises a waterproof material and the blanket 11 comprises beach towel so that a user can load the wet beach towel into a handbag having a waterproof surface.
Referring to fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the bag 13 is located at an intermediate region between the first end 111 and the second end 113 such that the first end 111 and the second end 113 can be folded for insertion into the bag 13. The bag 13 is positioned approximately between the first end 111 and the second end 113 such that the bag 13 is inverted to receive the first end 111 and the second end 113. In other embodiments of the invention, the pouch 13 can be disposed in other areas that are located in an intermediate area adjacent the perimeter of the blanket 11.
In one embodiment, blanket 11 is rounded with first 111, second 113, third 115, and fourth 117 ends integrated around the periphery of pocket 13.
