Plant indigo belongs to natural dye, and is derived from natural blue grass, and general plant indigo is reduced and converted into leuco body to dye cotton fiber under alkaline condition, and electrolyte is added to promote dyeing, and then the cotton fiber is oxidized into insoluble indigo on the fiber to be fixed on the cotton fiber; for dyeing of polyester by using plant indigo, although the indigo belongs to anthraquinone dye, the affinity of the indigo to the polyester is low, the dyeing is carried out to obtain light color, and the hydroxyl of the indigo leuco acid forms hydrogen bond with ester groups on the macromolecular chain of the polyester to combine, so the polyester is generally dyed by using the leuco acid of the indigo. At present, the research on dyeing of polyester/cotton blended fabrics by using plant indigo is less, and there is a report that leuco acid is firstly used for dyeing (namely, indigo is firstly reduced into leuco under alkaline condition, then acid is added to convert the leuco into leuco, and then dyeing can be carried out on polyester), and the leuco after the indigo is reduced in alkaline condition is used for dyeing cotton by using a two-bath method.

taking out the fabric, adding plant indigo, glucose and alkali into the dyeing residual liquid, reducing the added plant indigo into leuco sodium salt, adding 10-50% o.w.f plant indigo, 40g/L glucose and 20g/L NaOH into the dyeing residual liquid, wherein the reduction temperature is 60 ℃, and the reduction time is 30min;
adding the fabric taken out in the first step into the reduced dye liquor, performing secondary indigo leuco dyeing at 20 ℃ for 60min, and performing ventilation oxidation for 30min to complete dyeing of cotton fibers in the polyester-cotton blended fabric;
