Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of printing technologies, and in particular, to a duplex printing method, apparatus, system, electronic device, and storage medium.
Background
The printing is to print the bill or the content existing on the bill according to a certain format. For example, a document is set, and a sheet with document ruled lines is fed into an image forming apparatus, and the image forming apparatus prints only data contents when performing printing, and does not print ruled lines.
In some technologies, when performing duplex printing, the image forming apparatus prints print data on a first side of a sheet of paper and prints other print data on a second side of the sheet of paper based on the reason for its layout design. The first surface of the sheet is a surface of the sheet facing downward at a paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus, and the second surface of the sheet is a surface of the sheet facing upward at the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus. For the paper with blank double sides, the design can obtain a normal printing job, but for the overprinting paper with the ruled lines printed, if the overprinting paper is directly placed by a user according to the front side facing upwards and the back side facing downwards, the user can obtain an incorrect printing result. The user needs to manually turn each page of printing paper upside down and place the back upwards according to the front, so that a correct printing result can be obtained, the use burden of the user is increased, the operation convenience is not facilitated, and the printing experience is reduced.
In practical applications, if the above-mentioned problem is to be solved, the front side picture and the back side picture can be interchanged by the print driver when issuing the print job, however, the paper thus output has the back side picture facing upwards and the front side picture facing downwards, and the page sequence does not conform to the use habit of the user although the print content is correct. The printed paper can be used only by manually turning pages page by page, so that the use experience of the user is reduced.

Aiming at the problems, the embodiment of the application provides a double-sided printing method, a device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the embodiment of the application prints the odd pages and even pages by separating the printing data of the odd pages and the even pages at the driving end and printing the odd pages and the even pages by using a single-sided printing mode at the image forming device end, so that the same effect as manual double-sided printing is achieved, the content of the printing job is correct, the page sequence accords with the habit of a user, namely the printing job can be used without page-by-page turning of the user, the printing efficiency of the job is improved, the complexity of the user operation is reduced, and the user experience is further improved. The following is a detailed description.
Referring to fig. 2, a flow chart of a duplex printing method according to an embodiment of the present application is shown. The method is applicable to the image forming system shown in fig. 1, and as shown in fig. 2, it mainly includes the following steps.
S201 the control device acquires a target print job, which is a duplex print job.
In one possible implementation, the target print job comprises a double-sided print job, such as a double-sided blanket print job. When the target print job is a double-sided printing job, the paper to be printed is double-sided printing paper.
The control apparatus determines a first set of data to be printed and a second set of data to be printed in the target print job S202.
The first group of data to be printed comprises all printing data corresponding to odd pages of the paper to be printed, and the second group of data to be printed comprises all printing data corresponding to even pages of the paper to be printed.
In the embodiment of the application, after uploading the job to be printed, the user triggers the printing instruction. The control equipment acquires a target print job according to a print instruction triggered by a user, and divides the array of print data in the target print job. Specifically, in this embodiment of the present application, since the two pages of the paper to be printed are printed on both sides, the two pages of the paper to be printed may be divided into an odd page and an even page according to the page sequence, and corresponding to the odd page and the even page, the control device divides the print data in the target print job into a first group of data to be printed and a second group of data to be printed, where the first group of data to be printed is the print data to be printed on the odd page of the paper to be printed by the image forming device, and the second group of data to be printed is the print data to be printed on the even page of the paper to be printed by the image forming device.
As one possible implementation manner, determining the first set of data to be printed and the second set of data to be printed in the target print job specifically includes:
acquiring a target print job; and dividing the print data in the target print job into a first group of data to be printed and a second group of data to be printed according to page ordering of the print data in the target print job.
In this embodiment of the present application, after the control device acquires the target print job, the data to be printed needs to be divided into print data of at least one page in advance according to the size of the paper to be printed. In the embodiment of the application, the double-sided printing is performed, that is, one piece of paper to be printed includes at least two pages of printing data, the two pages of printing data can be divided into odd pages of page data and even pages of page data according to the page sequence on the paper to be printed, so that after the printing data in the target printing job is divided according to the size of the paper to be printed, the control device can divide the divided printing data into odd pages of page data groups and even pages of page data groups according to the page sequence on the paper to be printed, wherein the odd pages of page data groups are the first group of data to be printed, and the even pages of page data groups are the second group of data to be printed. In specific implementation, after dividing the print data in the target print job into page sequences, the control device adjusts the print data according to the page sequences, that is, separates the odd page data from the even page data to form an odd page data set and an even page data set respectively, and arranges the print data in the odd page data set and the even page data set according to the divided page sequence. The following examples are provided in detail.
Referring to fig. 3, a schematic diagram of a page adjustment presentation of print data for duplex printing is provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 3, the target print job contains print data abcdef, and the control apparatus may divide the print data abcdef into 6 pages of print data, which are respectively page 1 print data a, page 2 print data b, page 3 print data c, page 4 print data d, page 5 print data e, and page 6 print data f, according to the size of paper to be printed. Assuming that each version contains 1 page in the print setting acquired by the control apparatus, at this time, when performing duplex printing, the print data in the target print job may be adjusted according to the page order first, specifically including adjusting the page order from 123456 to 135246, that is, adjusting the print data from abcdef to acebdf, and determining the print data ace contained in pages 1, 3, and 5 in the target print job as the first set of data to be printed, and the print data bdf contained in pages 2, 4, and 6 as the second set of data to be printed.
The control device transmits the first set of data to be printed and the second set of data to be printed to the image forming apparatus S203.
In one possible implementation manner, after the control device obtains the first set of data to be printed and the second set of data to be printed, an indication mark is added between the first set of data to be printed and the second set of data to be printed, where the indication mark can enable the image forming device to distinguish the first set of data to be printed from the second set of data to be printed on one hand, and can also be used to instruct the image forming device or the control device to output prompt information after the image forming device finishes the printing operation of the first set of data to be printed, so as to prompt a user to put the target paper at the paper outlet end of the image forming device into the paper inlet end of the image forming device again, and at this time, the first set of data to be printed is printed on the target paper at the paper outlet end of the image forming device. The control device transmits the first group of data to be printed, the indication mark and the second group of numbers to be printed to the image forming apparatus after finishing the indication mark addition.
In one possible implementation manner, the control device may not add an indication mark between the first set of data to be printed and the second set of data to be printed, but at this time, the user needs to place the number of paper to be printed corresponding to the number of paper required for completing the target print job at the paper feeding end of the image forming device during printing, that is, after the image forming device performs printing of the first set of data to be printed, the image forming device just runs out of the paper to be printed, after detecting that the paper feeding end is out of paper, the image forming device outputs an indication signal, and the indication signal is used for indicating the image forming device or the control device to output a prompt message after the image forming device completes the printing operation of the first set of data to be printed, so as to prompt the user to put the target paper at the paper feeding end of the image forming device again into the paper feeding end of the image forming device.
In one possible implementation, after the image forming apparatus detects that the paper feeding end is out of paper, the image forming apparatus may directly output the paper out information, and the user may put the paper at the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus back into the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus according to the paper out information.
Note that the method of inserting the number of sheets to be printed, which corresponds to the number of sheets required to complete the target print job, at the paper feed end of the image forming apparatus is applicable when the number of sheets to be printed is small.
It should be noted that, when the control device sends the first set of data to be printed, the indication mark and the second set of data to be printed, the first set of data to be printed, the indication mark and the second set of data to be printed may be sequentially sent, or may not be sequentially sent, for example, the image forming apparatus may determine the printing sequence according to the received job content, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
The image forming apparatus prints the first set of data to be printed to an odd page of the paper to be printed in a single-sided printing manner S204.
In this embodiment of the present application, after receiving the first set of data to be printed and the second set of data to be printed, the image forming apparatus first executes printing of odd pages of the paper to be printed according to the first set of data to be printed in a single-sided printing manner, and when the print is to the indication mark or the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus is out of paper, it indicates that the first set of data to be printed has been printed, and outputs the prompt message.
In the embodiment of the application, the indication mark or the indication signal is used for indicating the image forming device or the control equipment to output prompt information, and the prompt information is used for prompting a user to replace the target paper to the paper feeding end. In a specific implementation, since how the user relocates the target paper may affect the accuracy of the subsequent printing, the output prompt information may be the prompt information indicating how the user locates the target paper. However, how the user places the target paper is also related to the print request set at the time of printing, so the output prompt information can be set in connection with the specific print request.
In one possible implementation manner, the printing requirement includes setting the printing direction of the first set of data to be printed or the second set of data to be printed to be 180 ° at the control device end, at this time, when the user takes the target paper from the paper output end to the paper input end of the image forming apparatus, the user does not need to manually rotate the target paper by 180 °, so that printing errors caused by forgetting to rotate the paper by the user can be prevented, and the user printing experience is improved.
In one possible implementation, the printing requirement includes setting, at the control device side, a printing order of the first set of data to be printed or the second set of data to be printed in reverse order. In a specific implementation, if reverse order printing is not set, the paper at the paper outlet end of the image forming device is generally overlapped from bottom to top according to the order of pages, and due to the design of the paper feeding path of the image device, the odd-numbered pages of the paper to be printed are generally arranged on one face of the paper downwards, so that when a user takes out the target paper at the paper outlet end of the image forming device according to the prompt information, the order of the target paper is required to be readjusted, the target paper is put into the paper inlet end of the image forming device again, the printing of the second group of data to be printed is performed, and the page order after the printing of the second group of data to be printed is completed does not accord with the use habit of the user. The arrangement of the reverse printing ensures that when a user puts target paper from the paper outlet end to the paper inlet end of the image forming device, the page sequence of the target paper does not need to be readjusted one by one, the operation complexity of the user is reduced, and the page sequence after final printing also accords with the use habit of the user.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the present application, in combination with the above-described requirements of the printing direction and the printing order, the output prompt information may be set so that the target paper output by the image forming apparatus is placed on the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus in the order output by the image forming apparatus, that is, the user may take the target paper out of the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus and then place it on the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus as it is without performing any other operation in the middle. According to the embodiment of the application, through the preset printing requirements, the operation complexity of a user is reduced, the time of the user is saved, and the printing efficiency is improved. The following examples are provided in detail.
Referring to fig. 4, a schematic diagram of another print data page adjustment presentation for duplex printing according to an embodiment of the present application is provided. As shown in fig. 4, the target print job contains print data abcdef, and the control apparatus divides the print data abcdef into 6 pages of print data, which are page 1 print data a, page 2 print data b, page 3 print data c, page 4 print data d, page 5 print data e, and page 6 print data f, respectively. Assuming that each version contains 1 page, the printing direction of the odd page is rotated 180 degrees, and the even page is printed in reverse order, the control device adjusts the printing page order to be 1 st page, 3 rd page, 5 th page, 6 th page, 4 th page and 2 nd page, rotates the pages of the 1 st page, 3 rd page and 5 th page by 180 degrees, and then sends the 1 st page, 3 rd page and 5 th page after rotating the pages as a first group of data to be printed, and the 6 th page, 4 th page and 2 nd page as a second group of data to be printed to an image forming device; or the control equipment can directly take the 1 st page, the 3 rd page and the 5 th page as a first group of data to be printed, take the 2 nd page, the 4 th page and the 6 th page as a second group of data to be printed and send the first group of data to be printed to the image forming device, the image forming device rotates the 1 st page, the 3 rd page and the 5 th page of the received first group of data to be printed by 180 degrees according to the printing setting requirement and prints the received second group of data to be printed after the page sequence of the 2 nd page, the 4 th page and the 6 th page is adjusted to the 6 th page, the 4 th page and the 2 nd page.
The image forming apparatus prints the second set of data to be printed to an even page of the sheet to be printed in a single-sided printing manner S205.
In the embodiment of the application, after the user re-places the target paper on which the first set of data to be printed is printed into the paper feeding end of the image forming apparatus, the image forming apparatus performs the printing of the even page content of the paper to be printed according to the second set of data to be printed in a single-sided printing manner.
In one possible implementation, if the second set of data to be printed is set to be printed in reverse order at the time of print setting and the total number of pages to be printed of the print data in the target print job is an odd number of pages, a blank page needs to be inserted before the second set of data to be printed, and the blank page is printed before the second set of data to be printed is printed. For example, when the total number of printed pages of the print data in the target print job is 5 pages, pages 1, 3, and 5 are printed first when the printing operation is performed, and after the target paper on which the odd pages are printed is set by the user at the paper feed end of the image forming apparatus, the blank pages, 4, and 2 are printed.
In one possible implementation, when the target print job needs to print multiple copies, the odd pages may be printed first, and then the even pages may be printed, that is, after the first set of data to be printed is printed in the printing order by n copies, the second set of data to be printed is printed in the printing order by n copies. Specifically, printing n copies of the first set of data to be printed in the printing order includes: and after the first group of data to be printed is printed in one part according to the printing sequence, printing one part according to the printing sequence, repeating the printing operation until the printing of the n parts of the first group of data to be printed is completed, and similarly, printing the second group of data to be printed in n parts according to the same operation. Of course, in specific implementation, after n copies of the first page of the first data to be printed are printed, n copies of the second page of the first data to be printed are printed, and the printing operation is repeated until n copies of the last page of the first data to be printed are printed, and similarly, n copies of the second group of data to be printed are printed according to the same operation. The following examples are provided in detail.
Referring to fig. 5, a schematic diagram of another print data page adjustment presentation for duplex printing according to an embodiment of the present application is provided. As shown in fig. 5, the target print job contains print data abcdef, and the control apparatus divides the print data abcdef into 6 pages of print data, which are page 1 print data a, page 2 print data b, page 3 print data c, page 4 print data d, page 5 print data e, and page 6 print data f, respectively. Assuming that each version contains 1 page, the printing direction of the odd page is rotated by 180 °, the even page is printed in reverse order, and the printing score is 3 copies, the control apparatus adjusts the printing order to 1 st page, 3 rd page, 5 th page, 6 th page, 4 th page, 2 nd page, 6 th page, 4 th page, and rotates the odd page by 180 °, and then sends the 1 st page, 3 rd page, 5 th page, 1 st page, 3 rd page, 5 th page as a first set of data to be printed, and the 6 th page, 4 th page, 2 nd page, 6 th page, 4 th page, 2 nd page as a second set of data to be printed to the image forming apparatus. In the specific implementation of the present invention, the control device may also adjust the print page order to page 1, page 3, page 5, page 6, page 4, page 2 (not shown in the figure), after the odd page is then rotated 180, page 1, page 3 page 5, page 5 as the first set of data to be printed, page 5, page 5 page 5 as the first set of data to be printed.
According to the embodiment of the application, for the image forming device which leaves the factory, the same function as manual double-sided printing is realized by adjusting the printing page sequence at the control equipment end, namely the driving end, so that the modification cost is low, the existing printer can realize printing in a sleeved mode, the printing content is correct, and the printed page sequence accords with the use habit of a user.
