In the related art, it is difficult for a 5G core network to identify and distinguish different personal internet of things devices accessing 5GS (5G system) through the same personal internet of things gateway. The application server can manage the IP addresses of a plurality of devices in the same personal networking in a unified manner.

In some embodiments, assigning an IP address to a personal internet of things device that accesses the personal internet of things comprises: when the type of the protocol data unit session is IPv4, distributing a port range of a transmission control protocol or a port range of a user datagram protocol for the personal Internet of things equipment; or when the type of the protocol data unit session is IPv6, distributing the prefix of IPv6 for the personal Internet of things equipment.
For example, when the PDU session type is IPv4, the personal internet of things application server allocates a port range of TCP/UDP (Transmission Control Protocol/User Datagram Protocol ) to the personal internet of things device. When the PDU session type is IPv6, the personal Internet of things application server allocates an IPv6 prefix for the PINE. DN (Data Network), providing services for personal internet of things devices through IPv4 or IPv 6.
In step S32, the report of the personal internet of things device is sent to the core network, wherein the report of the personal internet of things device includes an IP address of the personal internet of things device, so as to provide a communication service for the personal internet of things device according to the report of the personal internet of things device and the identification of the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device.

In some embodiments, sending the report of the personal internet of things device to the core network includes: and sending the report of the personal Internet of things equipment to a unified data management functional entity of the core network. For example, the AF stores the pin report in the core network UDM for further forwarding by the UDM.
In some embodiments, the report of the personal internet of things device further includes an identification of the personal internet of things device, the communication method further comprising: and allocating an identifier for the personal Internet of things equipment accessed to the personal Internet of things.
For example, personal internet of things devices join personal networking through an application layer. The application server assigns an identifier (PINE ID) to PINE which joins the personal networking, and after assigning an address, the identifier can be associated with the IP address to generate a PINE report.
Fig. 4 illustrates an interaction diagram of a communication method according to some embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 4, the communication method includes events 101-112.
In event 101, the personal internet of things gateway authenticates and obtains personal internet of things gateway related parameters and accesses to the 5G core network through the NG-RAN (NG Radio Access Network —ng radio access network).
In event 102, the personal internet of things device authenticates and obtains personal internet of things device related parameters.
In event 103, the personal internet of things gateway initiates a setup procedure for a PDU session used by the personal internet of things gateway.
In event 104, the personal internet of things application server allocates a pin ID and a pin info (pin information) to the personal internet of things device pin, the pin info including an IP address.
In event 105, the personal internet of things device stores the PINE report (allocated PINE ID and PINE IP) in the UDM.
In event 106, the personal internet of things device initiates a discovery process to discover nearby available PEGCs and establishes a connection with the available personal internet of things gateway.
In event 107, the PINE report is sent by the UDM through AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function), access and mobility management function) entity to a personal Internet of things gateway that establishes a connection with a personal Internet of things device.
In event 109, the personal internet of things device sends at least one of quality of service rules and information to the personal internet of things gateway.
In event 110, the personal internet of things gateway initiates a procedure to modify a protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things gateway to a protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device.
In event 111, the UDM sends a pin report to the SMF. UPF is specified by SMF.
In event 112, the personal internet of things device communicates via the personal internet of things gateway, through the wireless access network, through each network element of the core network, using the personal internet of things device report and the IP address. The NEF (Network Exposure Function, network opening function) entity opens events and capabilities of the 5G system to applications inside and outside the operator network (i.e. external applications).
Fig. 5 illustrates an interaction diagram of a communication method according to further embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in FIG. 5, the communication method includes events 201-202, events 204-212.
In event 201, the personal internet of things gateway authenticates and obtains personal internet of things gateway related parameters and accesses to the 5G core network through the NG-RAN (NG Radio Access Network —ng radio access network).
In event 202, a personal internet of things device authenticates and obtains personal internet of things device related parameters.
In event 204, the personal internet of things application server assigns a pin ID and pin info (pin information) to the personal internet of things device pin.
In event 205, the personal internet of things device stores the PINE report (allocated PINE ID and PINE IP) in the UDM.
In event 206, the personal internet of things device initiates a discovery process to discover nearby available PEGCs and establishes a connection with the available personal internet of things gateway.
In event 207, the UDM issues a corresponding pin report to the PEGC via AMF to the personal internet of things gateway.
In event 209, the personal internet of things device sends at least one of quality of service rules and information to the personal internet of things gateway.
In event 210, the personal internet of things gateway initiates a flow of newly establishing a protocol data unit session for use by the personal internet of things device.
In event 211, the UDM sends a pin report to the SMF. UPF is specified by SMF.
In event 212, the personal internet of things device communicates via the personal internet of things gateway, through the wireless access network, through each network element of the core network, using the personal internet of things device report and the IP address.
Fig. 6 illustrates a block diagram of a communication system in accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 6, the communication system 6 includes a core network 61, a personal internet of things device 62, and a personal internet of things application server 63.
In some embodiments, the core network 61 comprises means for performing a communication method according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, e.g. performing steps S11-S13 as shown in fig. 1.
In other embodiments, the core network includes a unified data management function and an access and mobility management function.
A unified data management function entity configured to receive a report of the personal networking device from the personal internet of things application server; and sending the report of the personal Internet of things equipment to the personal Internet of things gateway and the session management functional entity.
An access and mobility management function configured to send a report of the personal internet of things device to the personal internet of things gateway.
In other embodiments, the core network further comprises a session management function entity.
A session management function configured to receive reports of individual persona networking devices from the unified data management function.
In some embodiments, personal internet of things device 62 includes modules for performing communication methods according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, such as performing steps S21-S24 as shown in fig. 2.
In some embodiments, personal internet of things application server 63 includes modules for performing communication methods according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, such as performing steps S31-S32 as shown in fig. 3.
Fig. 7 illustrates a block diagram of a communication device according to further embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 7, the communication device 7 includes a memory 71; and a processor 72 coupled to the memory 71, the memory 71 for storing information for performing the communication method. The processor 72 is configured to perform the communication method in any of the embodiments of the present disclosure based on instructions stored in the memory 71.
FIG. 8 illustrates a block diagram of a computer system for implementing some embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in FIG. 8, computer system 80 may be in the form of a general purpose computing device. Computer system 80 includes a memory 810, a processor 820, and a bus 800 that connects the various system components.
Memory 810 may include, for example, system memory, non-volatile storage media, and the like. The system memory stores, for example, an operating system, application programs, boot Loader (Boot Loader), and other programs. The system memory may include volatile storage media, such as Random Access Memory (RAM) and/or cache memory. The non-volatile storage medium stores, for example, instructions for performing the communication methods in any of the embodiments of the present disclosure. Non-volatile storage media include, but are not limited to, disk storage, optical storage, flash memory, and the like.
Processor 820 may be implemented as discrete hardware components such as a general purpose processor, a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or other programmable logic device, discrete gates or transistors, and the like. Accordingly, each of the modules, such as the judgment module and the determination module, may be implemented by a Central Processing Unit (CPU) executing instructions of the corresponding steps in the memory, or may be implemented by a dedicated circuit that performs the corresponding steps.
Bus 800 may employ any of a variety of bus architectures. For example, bus structures include, but are not limited to, an Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) bus, a Micro Channel Architecture (MCA) bus, and a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus.
Computer system 80 may also include an input-output interface 830, a network interface 840, a storage interface 850, and the like. These interfaces 830, 840, 850 and the memory 810 and the processor 820 may be connected by a bus 800. The input output interface 830 may provide a connection interface for input output devices such as a display, mouse, keyboard, etc. The network interface 840 provides a connection interface for various networking devices. The storage interface 850 provides a connection interface for external storage devices such as a floppy disk, a USB flash disk, an SD card, and the like.
Various aspects of the present disclosure are described herein with reference to flowchart illustrations and/or block diagrams of methods, apparatus and computer program products according to embodiments of the disclosure. It will be understood that each block of the flowchart illustrations and/or block diagrams, and combinations of blocks in the flowchart illustrations and/or block diagrams, can be implemented by computer readable program instructions.
These computer-readable program instructions may be provided to a processor of a general purpose computer, special purpose computer, or other programmable apparatus to produce a machine, such that the instructions, which execute via the processor, create means for implementing the functions specified in the flowchart and/or block diagram block or blocks.
These computer readable program instructions may also be stored in a computer readable memory that can direct a computer to function in a particular manner, such that the instructions stored in the computer readable memory produce an article of manufacture including instructions which implement the function specified in the flowchart and/or block diagram block or blocks.
The present disclosure may take the form of an entirely hardware embodiment, an entirely software embodiment, or an embodiment combining software and hardware aspects.
Through the communication method, the communication system and the computer readable storage medium in the embodiment, different personal Internet of things devices accessed through the same personal Internet of things gateway are distinguished in the 5G core network, and unified management of IP addresses of the personal Internet of things devices is realized.
So far, the communication method and system, computer-readable storage medium according to the present disclosure have been described in detail. In order to avoid obscuring the concepts of the present disclosure, some details known in the art are not described. How to implement the solutions disclosed herein will be fully apparent to those skilled in the art from the above description.

Claims (22)

1. A communication method applied to a core network, comprising:
responding to a personal Internet of things gateway to initiate a process of establishing a protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device, and establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device;
receiving a report of the personal Internet of things equipment from a personal Internet of things application server, wherein the report of the personal Internet of things equipment comprises an IP address distributed by the personal Internet of things application server for the personal Internet of things equipment;
and providing communication service for the personal Internet of things equipment through the personal Internet of things gateway according to the report of the personal Internet of things equipment and the identification of the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things equipment.
2. The communication method of claim 1, wherein the establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a flow of establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device comprises:
And in response to the personal Internet of things gateway initiating a procedure of modifying the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things gateway to the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device, modifying the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things gateway to the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device.
3. The communication method of claim 1, wherein the establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a flow of establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device comprises:
and responding to the process of the personal Internet of things gateway for initiating the establishment of a new protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device, and establishing the new protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device.
4. The communication method of claim 1, wherein the receiving the report of the personal internet of things device from a personal internet of things application server comprises:
the unified data management function entity receives a report of the personal Internet of things equipment from a personal Internet of things application server;
And the unified data management functional entity sends the report of the personal Internet of things equipment to the personal Internet of things gateway and the session management functional entity.
5. The communication method of claim 4, wherein the unified data management function entity sends the report of the personal internet of things device to a personal internet of things gateway, comprising:
the unified data management functional entity sends the report of the personal Internet of things equipment to an access and mobile management functional entity;
and the access and mobile management functional entity sends the report of the personal Internet of things equipment to the personal Internet of things gateway.

The communication method of claim 2, wherein the establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a flow of establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device comprises:
and responding to the process that the personal Internet of things gateway initiates the process of binding the flow of the personal Internet of things device to the service mass flow of the personal Internet of things gateway, and binding the flow of the personal Internet of things device to the service mass flow of the personal Internet of things gateway.

A method of communicating according to claim 3, wherein the establishing a protocol data unit session for use by a personal internet of things device in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a flow for establishing a protocol data unit session for use by the personal internet of things device comprises:
and responding to the process of establishing a new service quality stream for the personal Internet of things equipment initiated by the personal Internet of things gateway, and establishing the new service quality stream for the personal Internet of things equipment.
8. A method of communication for a personal internet of things device, comprising:
accessing to the personal Internet of things so as to facilitate the personal Internet of things application server to allocate an IP address to the personal Internet of things equipment;
establishing connection with a gateway of the personal Internet of things;
responding to the personal Internet of things gateway to initiate a process of establishing a protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device, and establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device;
and accessing a core network to communicate by using the IP address of the personal Internet of things device and the identification of the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things device through the personal Internet of things gateway.
9. The communication method of claim 8, wherein the establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a flow of establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device comprises:
And in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a procedure of modifying a protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things gateway to a protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device, modifying the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things gateway to a protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device.
10. The communication method of claim 8, wherein the establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device in response to the personal internet of things gateway initiating a flow of establishing the protocol data unit session used by the personal internet of things device comprises:
and responding to the process of initiating and establishing a new protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things equipment by the personal Internet of things gateway, and establishing the new protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things equipment.
11. The communication method according to claim 8, further comprising:
receiving parameters related to the personal internet of things gateway from the personal internet of things gateway;
and according to the parameters related to the personal Internet of things gateway, discovering the personal Internet of things gateway which is allowed to be connected nearby.
12. The communication method according to claim 8, further comprising:
and sending service quality information and service quality rules related to the personal Internet of things equipment to the personal Internet of things gateway.
13. A communication method applied to a personal networking application server, comprising:
an IP address is allocated for personal Internet of things equipment accessed to the personal Internet of things;
and sending the report of the personal Internet of things equipment to a core network, wherein the report of the personal Internet of things equipment comprises the IP address of the personal Internet of things equipment so as to provide communication service for the personal Internet of things equipment according to the report of the personal Internet of things equipment and the identification of the protocol data unit session used by the personal Internet of things equipment.
14. The communication method according to claim 13, wherein the assigning an IP address to a personal internet of things device accessing the personal internet of things comprises:
when the type of the protocol data unit session is IPv4, distributing a port range of a transmission control protocol or a port range of a user datagram protocol for the personal Internet of things equipment; or (b)
And when the type of the protocol data unit session is IPv6, distributing the prefix of IPv6 for the personal Internet of things equipment.
15. The communication method according to claim 13, wherein the sending the report of the personal internet of things device to the core network comprises:

16. The communication method of claim 13, wherein the report of the personal internet of things device further includes an identification of the personal internet of things device, the communication method further comprising:

18. A personal internet of things device comprising means for performing the method of any of claims 8-12.
19. A personal internet of things application server comprising means for performing the method according to any of claims 13-16.
20. A communication system comprising a core network according to claim 17, a personal internet of things device according to claim 18 and a personal internet of things application server according to claim 19.
21. A communication apparatus, comprising:
a memory; and
a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to perform the communication method according to any one of claims 1 to 16 based on instructions stored in the memory.
22. A computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon computer program instructions which, when executed by a processor, implement a communication method according to any of claims 1 to 16.
