Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of coffee silver skin resource utilization, in particular to a method for pulping and papermaking by utilizing coffee silver skin.
Background
The coffee silver skin is a layer of underwear which is tightly wrapped by coffee beans under the endocarp of the coffee pulp, most of the coffee silver skin can be directly fallen off due to deepening of the roasting degree, and the fallen coffee silver skin is quite fluffy. In order to ensure safety of coffee during its production, the presence of harmful substances is reduced while improving taste and appearance, and the removal of silver skin from coffee is indispensable. However, the dropped coffee silver skin is exposed to the surrounding environment, so that the risk of spontaneous combustion is high, and certain potential safety hazard exists. Meanwhile, the coffee silver skin is a very valuable resource and can be used for making foods, beauty products, biofuels and the like. Therefore, the recycling of the waste coffee silver skins is imperative.
Paper making technology is one of the four inventions in China, and paper making is mainly divided into two processes of pulping and papermaking. Pulping, namely, adopting a mechanical method, a chemical method or a combination of the mechanical method and the chemical method to dissociate the plant fiber raw material into natural pulp. Paper making, i.e. the paper pulp fiber suspended in water is processed and synthesized to obtain the required paper.

Comparing the invention with the external paper bag and A4 white paper which are used in a certain chain coffee beverage shop without adding the caking additive, the folding endurance, tearing endurance, beating degree and bursting strength are respectively measured by using a folding endurance instrument, a tearing endurance instrument, a beating degree instrument and a bursting strength measuring instrument.
Folding endurance: is a sample of standard width, and is folded back and forth under a certain condition to the logarithm of the number of double folds (base 10) required for breaking. The folding endurance is divided into a transverse folding endurance and a longitudinal folding endurance, and the folding endurance in table 1 is the transverse folding endurance (generally, the longitudinal folding endurance > the transverse folding endurance).
Tear strength: on the tear gauge, a small incision is opened in advance to be a sheet of paper, and the force required for reaching a certain length is expressed in milli-newtons (mN). The paper-making process has low beating degree, uneven paper making and uneven thickness of the same paper, and the tearing degree is in a range or about several.
Degree of tapping: the working time of the beater is consistent, and the unit is DEG SR measured by beating out the slurry under the condition that the slurry concentration is basically the same.
Burst strength: is the paper and the maximum stress of the paper which is uniformly increased in unit area, and the unit is kPa; the burst index refers to the ratio of the maximum stress to the maximum strain which the material can bear under the action of external force, and the unit is kPa m 2 /g。
The paper properties obtained by the paper made at different amounts of coffee silver skin were compared and the results of the paper properties test are shown in table 1.
Table 1 paper performance test results
Conclusion: in the embodiment 3 with the silver coffee skin content of 40%, the utilization rate of the silver coffee skin is high, the paper performance is good, and the silver coffee skin has strong transverse folding endurance and tearing strength. Meanwhile, the paper textures of example 1, example 2, example 3 and comparative example 1 are inferior to those of comparative example 2 and comparative example 3.
The coffee silver skin content of comparative example 1 and example 3 is 40%, the coffee silver skin and the log pulp are directly mixed and pulped by adding water without adding any caking additive in comparative example 1 to prepare a pulp liquid with the pulp concentration of 0.2%, and compared with example 3, the paper performance of comparative example 1 is poorer, because the coffee silver skin contains part of lignin, and the paper performance is affected by the existence of lignin.
The data of example 3 and comparative example 3 are less different, and the paper part performance of the papermaking made by the invention is the same as that of the household paper, and example 3 is the optimal pulp ratio of the invention. By improving the equipment and working conditions, the papermaking with better performance can be obtained. In addition, the performances of whiteness, kappa number, tensile strength and the like of the paper can be specifically regulated and controlled according to the actual application scene of papermaking.
It was found from table 1 that the paper properties largely depend on the magnitude of the degree of tapping. The laccase can remove part of lignin in the original wood pulp, promote the exposure of micro fibers and improve the binding force between the fibers, thereby improving the strength of paper; the glutamic acid introduces more carboxyl groups into the fiber, and the improvement of the carboxyl content can improve the flexibility and swelling performance of the fiber. The coalescing agent formed by mixing laccase and glutamic acid ensures that plant fibers provided by coffee silver skin and fibers in raw wood pulp are better glued together, and meanwhile, part of lignin is effectively removed, so that the influence on the pulp is reduced.
Therefore, the method for pulping and papermaking by utilizing the coffee silver skin disclosed by the invention is adopted to recycle the coffee silver skin, so that the consumption of raw wood pulp is reduced; the addition of the caking additive ensures that the coffee silver skin and the raw wood pulp are better glued together, improves the paper performance and promotes the sustainable development of the paper industry.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above embodiments are only for illustrating the technical solution of the present invention and not for limiting it, and although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that: the technical scheme of the invention can be modified or replaced by the same, and the modified technical scheme cannot deviate from the spirit and scope of the technical scheme of the invention.
