5. The progestin ring securement device of claim 1, wherein a first stop is provided on the distal outer side of the clip and a second stop is provided on the outer side of the securement head on the side of the snap ring groove adjacent the clip.
6. The progestin ring securement device of claim 1, wherein the inner sides of both of said splints are provided with resilient pads.
7. The progestin ring securement device of claim 1, wherein a wire hanging ring groove is formed on the outside of the push ring.
8. The progestin ring securement device of claim 1, wherein the end of the securement head distal from the splint is provided with a tapered head and the end of the shaft proximal to the jaws is provided with a guide slot adapted to the tapered head.
