Some embodiments of the display method of multimedia contents of the present disclosure are described below in conjunction with fig. 1 to 5.
Fig. 1 is a flow chart of some embodiments of a method of displaying multimedia content of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes: steps S102 to S104.
In step S102, in response to a preset trigger operation, current multimedia content in the multimedia content stream is played in the playing interface, a selection area of the multimedia content stream is displayed, and identifications of the multimedia content in the multimedia content stream are displayed in the selection area, wherein the identifications of the multimedia content are arranged in order of the multimedia content in the multimedia content stream, and the multimedia content support is switched and played in order in response to a sliding operation in a preset direction in the playing interface.
For example, the preset trigger operation includes: the starting operation of the application, the triggering operation of the control of the selection area, the triggering of the multimedia channel entry, the updating operation of the multimedia channel, the triggering operation of the current multimedia content, and the like are not limited to the illustrated examples. And responding to a preset triggering operation, and displaying a selection area of the multimedia content stream while playing the current multimedia content in the multimedia content stream in the playing interface.
The current multimedia content can be played in a full screen (full screen) mode in the playing interface, and the current multimedia content can be displayed in the playing interface according to the size of the current multimedia content.
The multimedia content stream is, for example, an immersive information stream (or Feed stream) comprising one or more multimedia contents. The multimedia content in the multimedia content stream may be switched and played in a single column in the screen, i.e. the multimedia content stream may be an immersive single column information stream.
The multimedia content stream may be a multimedia content stream recommended to a current user, i.e. a user who is watching. The multimedia content stream may be determined based on a preset recommendation policy. For example, an AI (Artificial Intelligence, manual only) model may be employed to determine a multimedia content stream recommended to a current user based on at least one of a type of multimedia content of interest, historical operational behavior information, information of a user of interest, which is preconfigured by the current user. For example, the historical operational behavior information includes: relevant information of at least one behavior of watching, praying (like), commenting, sharing, paying attention to and collecting of the current user. The related information of at least one of the current user's viewing, praying, commenting, sharing, focusing, collecting may include the type of the corresponding multimedia content, the publishing user, etc. For viewing behavior, the related information may further include information such as viewing time length. The identification of the multimedia contents included in the multimedia content stream recommended to the current user may be stored in the database in the form of a table after the determination, and the identification of the multimedia contents may be acquired from the database in case the current user starts playing the multimedia contents.
For example, the selection area is displayed in an upper layer of the playing interface or in a floating layer above the playing interface, without affecting the playing of the current multimedia content. The identification of the multimedia content arranged in the order of the multimedia content in the multimedia content stream is displayed in the selection area. And the multimedia content support in the multimedia content stream responds to the sliding operation in the preset direction in the playing interface, and is switched and played according to the arrangement sequence of the identifiers of the multimedia content. I.e., the arrangement order of the identifications of the multimedia contents in the selection area, is the same as the order in which the multimedia contents are switched and played in response to the sliding operation in the play interface. For multimedia contents other than the current multimedia content, the user can switch by a sliding operation or a selection operation in a selection area.
The sliding operation in the preset direction may be determined according to the display direction of the screen, for example, for vertical screen display, the sliding operation in the preset direction may be an upward sliding operation, and for horizontal screen display, the sliding operation in the preset direction may be a leftward sliding operation. For example, in response to a sliding operation in a preset direction, a playing page of the current multimedia content is slid out of a screen area, and a playing page of the next multimedia content of the current multimedia content in the multimedia content stream is slid into the screen area, so that an immersive display mode is realized.
In some embodiments, the display sizes of the current multimedia content and the selection area are adjusted according to the size of the play area and the parameters of the current multimedia content in response to a change in the display direction of the screen. The rotation of the screen or the like causes a change in display size, but does not affect the content displayed.
In some embodiments, the multimedia content comprises: one or more of text, image, video, audio. For example, the multimedia content is video, teletext information, a collection, etc. In some embodiments, the identification of the multimedia content includes: at least one of a thumbnail and a name (title) corresponding to the multimedia content.

The multimedia content in the multimedia content stream includes the target multimedia content. The current user may select an identification of any multimedia content in the selection area as an identification of the target multimedia content. The current user may select the identifier of the target multimedia content in various manners, for example, by clicking, voice, etc., which will not be described herein.
And playing the target multimedia content in response to the selection operation of the identification of the target multimedia content. If a sliding operation in a preset direction or a selection operation in a selection area is not received at the end of the playing of the target multimedia content, the target multimedia content may be played in a loop. Likewise, the current multimedia content may also be played in a loop.
In the method of the above embodiment, the selection area of the multimedia content stream is displayed while the current multimedia content in the multimedia content stream recommended to the current user is being played, and the identifiers of the multimedia content in the multimedia content stream are displayed in the selection area, and the arrangement order of the identifiers of the multimedia content is the same as the order in which the multimedia content support is switched and played in response to the sliding operation in the preset direction in the playing interface. The target multimedia content may be played directly in response to a selection operation of the identification of the target multimedia content in the selection area. According to the method, the selection area is increased on the basis of immersive display of the multimedia content, the current user can more intuitively see the subsequent multimedia content to be displayed, and the current user can switch the multimedia content in two modes.
