Description

Flushing system and method for low-flash-point fuel
Technical Field
The invention relates to a technical solution measure for safely using low-flash-point fuel, in particular to a principle and an operation method for flushing a pipeline of low-flash-point fuel, belonging to the technical field of power machinery, in particular to the application field of a novel high-power medium-low-speed dual-fuel engine for a ship.
Background
As the concern of the IMO international maritime organization for carbon emissions from ships has increased, a series of mandatory regulations have been successively put out in recent years to limit and restrict the carbon emissions from ships. Therefore, the search for low-carbon, zero-carbon alternative to traditional fossil fuels is a very critical and effective approach to solving the carbon emissions of ships. At present, various novel fuels such as methanol, ethanol, LPG, LNG, ammonia, hydrogen, DME and the like are technically proven to be used for combustion of a reciprocating internal combustion engine, namely, the novel fuel can replace traditional diesel fuel, is used for the engine, and can reduce carbon emission of ships to different degrees according to fuel types. However, unlike conventional diesel fuels, the novel fuels have common low viscosity, low flash point, low heating value characteristics, strong corrosion, strong toxicity and other individual characteristics. Particularly the low flash point characteristics, make safe use of fuels a great challenge. According to the requirements of the existing international relevant laws and regulations, when a ship uses low-flash-point fuel, under the working condition that the ship is stopped or other engines do not use the low-flash-point fuel, the low-flash-point fuel related pipelines are required to be purged and cleaned, and finally, the low-flash-point fuel is not remained in the engine related pipelines, so that the inflammable and explosive problems of the low-flash-point fuel are eliminated, and the engines using the low-flash-point fuel have extremely high safety.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problems to be solved by the invention are as follows: a system and method for purging and cleaning low flash point fuel related piping is provided.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a flushing system for low flash point fuel, which includes a low carbon fuel supply module communicating with a low carbon fuel tank, wherein the low carbon fuel supply module and a fuel mixing tank are respectively connected with two inlet ends of a fuel inlet switching valve, an outlet end of the fuel inlet switching valve is sequentially connected with an inlet of a low carbon fuel engine through a first fuel supply stop valve and a second fuel supply stop valve, and an outlet end of the first fuel supply stop valve is also connected with the low carbon fuel tank through a ventilation valve; the outlet of the low-carbon fuel engine is connected with the inlet end of the fuel return switching valve, and the two outlet ends of the fuel return switching valve are respectively connected with the low-carbon fuel tank and the fuel mixing tank; the inlet of the low-carbon fuel engine is also connected with a flushing pipeline, and a flushing valve is arranged on the flushing pipeline.
Preferably, the fuel mixing tank is connected to the fuel inlet switching valve by a mixed fuel supply pump.
Preferably, a flowmeter is arranged on a pipeline between the fuel mixing box and the fuel inlet switching valve.
Preferably, the flushing medium in the flushing line is a first fuel oil, i.e. diesel. The low carbon fuel in the invention is the second fuel of the engine, and the first fuel is the traditional diesel fuel.
The invention also provides a flushing method of the low-flash-point fuel, which adopts the flushing system of the low-flash-point fuel, when the low-carbon fuel is switched to diesel fuel, residual low-flash-point fuel in a low-carbon fuel pipeline is required to be flushed completely, so that at the moment of switching instructions, the diesel fuel injection system can immediately start to work (the first fuel injection system and the second fuel injection system are independent systems), then the fuel inlet switching valve, the fuel supply stop valve I and the fuel supply stop valve II are closed, the ventilation valve is opened, simultaneously, the fuel return switching valve is switched to be communicated with a low-carbon fuel tank, the low-carbon fuel in the low-carbon fuel engine is discharged back to the low-carbon fuel tank through the fuel return switching valve, when the low-carbon fuel pipeline of the low-carbon fuel engine detects that the pressure of the low-carbon fuel engine is reduced to a set value, the fuel return switching valve is switched to be communicated with the fuel mixing tank, and simultaneously, diesel fuel enters the low-carbon fuel engine through the flushing valve, the low-carbon fuel pipeline of the low-carbon fuel engine is flushed, and returns to the fuel mixing tank through the switching valve.
Preferably, the set point is 1bar.
Preferably, the working state of each valve on the fuel-available pipeline in the fuel mixing box enters the low-carbon fuel engine to participate in combustion.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
1) Compared with the gas-liquid blowing method which adopts inert gases such as nitrogen to purge pipelines at present, the operation principle of liquid blowing is carried out by adopting diesel oil which is also liquid fuel, so that the structural arrangement of the system is more flexible, and a large amount of compressed gas is not consumed;
2) The conventional diesel fuel existing on the engine is used as a medium for purging liquid fuels such as methanol, DME and the like, so that the system has very simple structure and low cost;
3) The diesel methanol mixed solution formed after diesel flushing can be recycled as fuel, so that the method has extremely high economical efficiency.
