Background
A conventional mechanical keyboard is a common input device, and its keys generally provide only an information input function, but not an information display function. However, in some application scenarios, the user needs to directly obtain a display of related information above the keys to improve user experience and work efficiency.
The touch screen keyboard combines conventional mechanical keyboard and touch screen technology such that the keys have the function of a touch screen. The design concept of the application is that aiming at the problem that keys of the traditional mechanical keyboard can only provide an information input function and cannot provide an information display function, the key module with the screen is provided, and a display screen and a display driving circuit board are added on the basis of a key body, so that the response of the keys and the information display function are realized uniformly, and richer interaction experience is provided for users; meanwhile, a communication interface connected with the upper-level main control equipment is also arranged on the display drive circuit board, so that the key module has better user experience and wider application prospect.

Example 1
Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application proposes a key module with a screen, including a key body 100, a display 3, and a display driving circuit board 6; wherein,
the key body 100 is used for triggering a key-in signal when receiving a user press, and transmitting the key-in signal to the display driving circuit board 6; the display 3 is disposed at the top of the key body 100, and is used for displaying output information of the key module;
the display driving circuit board 6 is disposed in or below the key body 100, and three interfaces are disposed thereon: the device comprises a key interface, a communication interface and a display interface; the display driving circuit board 6 receives the key-in signal of the key body 100 through a key interface, is connected with the upper-level main control equipment of the key module through a communication interface, is connected with the display screen 3 through a display interface, and is used for realizing information interaction among the key body 100, the display screen 3 and the upper-level main control equipment.

the main control chip is respectively and electrically connected with the key interface, the communication interface, the display interface, the storage chip and the backlight driving chip on the display driving circuit board 6 and is used for receiving the key-in signal of the key body 100, transmitting the key-in signal to the upper-level main control equipment, receiving the control signal from the upper-level main control equipment and controlling the display content of the display screen 3 according to the control signal;
the memory chip is used for storing related display data;
the backlight driving chip is electrically connected with the display interface and is used for providing backlight for the display screen 3 and adjusting the brightness of the backlight according to the requirement;
the power driving chip is electrically connected with each chip and interface on the display driving circuit board 6, and is used for acquiring external power from the communication interface and providing working power for the whole display driving circuit board 6.
In the structure of the display driving circuit board 6, the main control chip and the memory chip can adopt SPI protocol communication; the main control chip and the backlight driving chip can be communicated by adopting an I2C or PWM protocol; USB, WIFI or Bluetooth protocol communication can be adopted between the main control chip and the communication interface; and the main control chip and the display interface can be communicated by adopting an I2C or SPI protocol. It can be seen that the circuit design of the display driving circuit board 6 is facilitated by adopting standard communication protocols commonly used in the industry between chips and interfaces.
According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to fig. 3 and 4, the key body 100 includes a key connection shaft 4, a fixing base 5, a cover plate 7, a switching flexible plate 8, a trigger reed mechanism group 9, a movable mandrel assembly 11, and a balance bar mechanism 12. Wherein,
the bottom of the fixing seat 5 is buckled with the cover plate 7, for example, the bottom and the cover plate can be buckled through a matched buckle and screw structure. The top of fixing base 5 is connected with the shell of button connecting axle 4 through the buckle. The touch reed mechanism group 9, the movable mandrel assembly 11 and the balance rod mechanism 12 are all arranged in the fixed seat 5, specifically, the balance rod mechanism 12 is arranged at a position parallel to the upper surface of the fixed seat 5, the movable mandrel assembly 11 is arranged at a position above the middle part of the fixed seat 5, and the touch reed mechanism group 9 is arranged below the movable mandrel assembly 11. The movable mandrel assembly 11 is connected with the central part of the key connecting shaft 4 through mutually matched convex columns and concave grooves. The movable core shaft assembly 11 and the touch reed mechanism group 9 are positioned at the central part of the whole key module and fixed on the fixed seat 5, and form key components of the key body movement together with the key connecting shaft 4.
The trigger reed mechanism group 9 serves as a main working member of the key body 100 for triggering a key-in signal when pressed by a user. Specifically, when the user presses the key connecting shaft 4, the lower end of the trigger reed mechanism group 9 is brought into contact with the key interface on the display driving circuit board 6 by force conduction, that is, a key input signal is triggered. The balance bar mechanism 12 serves as a compensation structure for the key body 100 when it is active, and is used for balancing the stress of the user when it is pressed, so as to provide the user with a feeling of consistency when it is pressed.
The switching flexible board 8 is arranged on the key connecting shaft 4 and penetrates through the fixing seat 5, and is used for electrically connecting the display driving circuit board 6 and the display screen 3. The arrangement mode well protects the switching flexible board 8 in the shell surrounded by the key connecting shaft 4 and the fixed seat 5, and avoids hidden trouble of poor contact caused by external force on the switching flexible board 8.
According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to fig. 5, the display 3 includes a display portion 42 and a connection portion 41, wherein the display portion 42 is used for displaying output information of the key module, and the connection portion 42 is used for connecting the adapting flexible board 8 in the key body 100.
As can be seen in fig. 3 and 4, the display 3 is specifically disposed on top of the key connecting shaft 4, and the outer casing of the key connecting shaft 4 provides physical support for the display 3. The display 3 may be an LCD or OLED screen to meet the needs of different users. The LCD screen realizes information display through the liquid crystal layer, the transparent electrode layer and the backlight source, and the OLED screen realizes information display through the organic light emitting diode.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 3 and 4, the display driving circuit board 6 is disposed inside the key body 100, and specifically, is buckled inside a casing enclosed by the cover 7 and the fixing base 5; one end of the switching flexible board 8 is connected with the display screen 3, the other end of the switching flexible board is connected with the display driving circuit board 6, and the electric connection between the display driving circuit board 6 and the display screen 3 is directly realized.
According to some embodiments of the present application, referring still to fig. 3 and 4, the key module of the present application further includes a display lens 1 and a protective case 2, wherein the display lens 1 is located above the display screen 3, and both are fixed in the protective case 2. The display lens 1 adopts transparent organic glass made of PMMA material, so that the display content of the display screen 3 can be clearly displayed. The display lens 1 is used as the uppermost part of the key module, directly receives the knocking or pressing of the key module by a user, can prevent the display screen 3 arranged below the display lens from being knocked or pressed by external force, is matched with the protective shell 2, can further prevent the display screen 3 from being dust, and prolongs the service life of the display screen 3.

Referring to fig. 6 and 7, the key module with a screen provided in embodiment 2 includes not only the key body 100, the display 3 and the display driving circuit board 6 of embodiment 1, but also a switching circuit board 10, and the switching circuit board 10 is connected between the display driving circuit board 6 and the display 3.
In embodiment 2, the key interface and the display interface on the display drive circuit board 6 are transferred to the relay circuit board 10, and the display drive circuit board 6 and the relay circuit board 10 are electrically connected by a connector. The adapting circuit board 10 is disposed inside the key body 100, and specifically fastened inside a housing enclosed by the cover 7 and the fixing base 5. The display driving circuit board 6 is disposed below the cover plate 7, and the connector on the switching circuit board 10 is electrically connected with the display driving circuit board 6 through the cover plate 7. One end of the switching flexible board 8 is connected with the display screen 3, the other end is connected with the switching circuit board 10, and the display driving circuit board 6 and the display screen 3 are electrically connected indirectly through the switching circuit board 10.
That is, not only is embodiment 2 added with the interposer circuit board on the basis of embodiment 1, but also the key interface and the display interface on the display driving circuit board 6 in embodiment 1 are transferred to the interposer circuit board 10 for processing. Structurally, the switching circuit board 10 replaces the original display driving circuit board 6 and is arranged in the key body, the display driving circuit board 6 is arranged outside the key body, specifically, the display driving circuit board 6 is arranged below the cover plate 7, and the display driving circuit board 6 can be electrically connected with the switching circuit board 10 through the contact pin connector. At this time, the display screen 3 is electrically connected with the switching circuit board 10 through the switching flexible board 8, and further, the display driving circuit board 6 and the display screen 3 are indirectly electrically connected through the switching circuit board 10. In embodiment 2, the display driving circuit board 6 is still connected to the upper host apparatus through a communication interface thereon.
With this structural design of embodiment 2, since the display driving circuit board 6 is disposed outside the key body 100, when the display driving circuit board 6 fails, the failure location and the failure replacement can be conveniently performed without disassembling the key body 100. Moreover, the structural design of embodiment 2 can make the key body 100 have better portability, and can be conveniently combined with circuit boards with different functions.

the display driving circuit board (6) is arranged in the key body (100) or below the key body, and three interfaces are arranged on the display driving circuit board: the device comprises a key interface, a communication interface and a display interface; the display driving circuit board (6) receives a keying signal of the key body (100) through the key interface, is connected with an upper-level main control device of the key module through the communication interface, is connected with the display screen (3) through the display interface, and is used for realizing information interaction between the key body (100), the display screen (3) and the upper-level main control device.
2. The key module of claim 1, wherein the communication interface is a bluetooth interface, a USB connector, a pin connector, or a B2B connector; the display interface is a ZIF connector or a B2B connector.
3. The key module according to claim 1, wherein the display driving circuit board (6) comprises a main control chip, a memory chip, a power driving chip and a backlight driving chip;
the main control chip is respectively and electrically connected with the key interface, the communication interface, the display interface, the storage chip and the backlight driving chip and is used for receiving a key-in signal of the key body (100) and transmitting the key-in signal to the upper-level main control equipment, receiving a control signal from the upper-level main control equipment and controlling the display content of the display screen (3) according to the control signal;
the memory chip is used for storing related display data;
the backlight driving chip is electrically connected with the display interface and is used for providing backlight for the display screen (3) and adjusting the brightness of the backlight according to the requirement;
the power supply driving chip is electrically connected with each chip and each interface on the display driving circuit board (6) and is used for acquiring an external power supply from the communication interface and providing a working power supply for the whole display driving circuit board (6).

The key module according to claim 3, wherein the main control chip and the memory chip are in SPI protocol communication; the main control chip and the backlight driving chip are communicated by adopting an I2C or PWM protocol; the main control chip and the communication interface are communicated by adopting USB, WIFI or Bluetooth protocols; and the main control chip and the display interface are communicated by adopting an I2C or SPI protocol.
5. The key module according to claim 1, wherein the key body (100) comprises a key connecting shaft (4), a fixed seat (5), a cover plate (7), a switching flexible plate (8), a touch reed mechanism group (9), a movable mandrel assembly (11) and a balance bar mechanism (12);
the bottom of the fixed seat (5) is buckled and connected with the cover plate (7), and the top of the fixed seat (5) is buckled and connected with the outer shell of the key connecting shaft (4);
the touch reed mechanism group (9), the movable mandrel assembly (11) and the balance rod mechanism (12) are all arranged in the fixed seat (5), wherein the balance rod mechanism (12) is arranged at a position parallel to the upper surface of the fixed seat (5), the movable mandrel assembly (11) is arranged at a position on the middle part of the fixed seat (5), the touch reed mechanism group (9) is arranged below the movable mandrel assembly (11), and the movable mandrel assembly (11) is connected with the central part of the key-press connecting shaft (4) through a convex column and a concave column which are matched with each other;
the touch reed mechanism group (9) is used as a main working part of the key body (100) and is used for triggering a key-in signal when a user presses; the balance rod mechanism (12) is used as a compensation structure when the key body (100) moves and used for balancing the stress of a user during pressing;
the switching flexible board (8) is arranged on the key connecting shaft (4) and penetrates through the fixing seat (5) and is used for electrically connecting the display driving circuit board (6) and the display screen (3).

The key module according to claim 5, wherein the display (3) is arranged on top of the key connecting shaft (4); the display screen (3) comprises a display part (42) and a connecting part (41), wherein the display part (42) is used for displaying output information of the key module, and the connecting part (41) is used for connecting the switching flexible board (8).

The key module according to claim 6, wherein the display driving circuit board (6) is disposed inside the key body (100) and is buckled inside a housing enclosed by the cover plate (7) and the fixing base (5); one end of the switching flexible board (8) is connected with the display screen (3), and the other end of the switching flexible board is connected with the display driving circuit board (6).
8. The key module according to claim 6, further comprising a switching circuit board (10), the switching circuit board (10) being connected between the display driving circuit board (6) and the display screen (3);
the key interface and the display interface on the display drive circuit board (6) are transferred to the switching circuit board (10), and the display drive circuit board (6) and the switching circuit board (10) are electrically connected through a connector.

The key module according to claim 8, wherein the switching circuit board (10) is disposed inside the key body (100) and is buckled inside a housing enclosed by the cover plate (7) and the fixing base (5); the display driving circuit board (6) is arranged below the cover plate (7), and a connector on the switching circuit board (10) is electrically connected with the display driving circuit board (6) through the cover plate (7); one end of the switching flexible board (8) is connected with the display screen (3), the other end of the switching flexible board is connected with the switching circuit board (10), and the display driving circuit board (6) and the display screen (3) are electrically connected through the switching circuit board (10).
10. The key module according to any of claims 1 to 9, further comprising a display lens (1) and a protective shell (2), wherein the display lens (1) is located above the display screen (3) and both are fixed within the protective shell (2).
