Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of LED display screens, in particular to a physical pixel multiplexing arrangement structure of an LED display screen.
Background
The LED display screen is used as a digital image display medium and can display image information of video images in real time. The key factors influencing the display effect of the LED display screen are as follows: the resolution of the LED display screen, namely the pixel density in unit area, and the display color and gray scale of the display screen. In terms of display color and gray level, the display color of the LED display screen reaches 256 levels at present, and in terms of the display level, the LED display screen can meet the requirement of being used as a digital display terminal. The improvement of display efficiency by increasing the physical resolution, i.e., the pixel density per unit area, is now a technical hotspot in the industry. However, as the display screen is developed to high density, the physical pixel density is increased with great difficulty due to the restriction of the LED die, the PCB circuit layout, heat dissipation and the like.
The resolution of the LED display screen can be improved to a certain extent by adopting the pixel multiplexing method. The three-primary color full-color LED display screen in the prior art comprises a plurality of pixels which are arranged vertically and horizontally, each pixel consists of a red LED R, a green LED G and a purple LED B (namely RGB pixels), and the RGB pixels are three-primary color pixels which correspondingly display only one picture element. The disadvantages of this technique are: each LED only belongs to a tricolor pixel and can only play a role in displaying one picture element, and the use rate of each LED is low, so that the LED display screen with high resolution cannot be manufactured.
