The present disclosure relates to an operation device having an image display function, a welding machine operated by the operation device, an image display method for causing the operation device to display an image, and a welding system provided with the operation device and the welding machine.

Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present disclosure are described below based on the drawings. The following description of the preferred embodiment is merely exemplary in nature and is in no way intended to limit the disclosure, its application, or uses.
Fig. 1 shows a structure of a welding system 1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The welding system 1 includes an operation device 10 and a welder 20.
To operate the welder 20, the operation device 10 accepts user input and sends information to the welder 20. The operation device 10 is constituted by a digital remote controller (remote controller), for example. Specifically, the operation device 10 includes: an image display section 11, an operation device side memory 12, and an operation device side control section 13.
The image display section 11 displays an image. The image display unit 11 is constituted by a liquid crystal panel or the like, for example.
The operation device side memory 12 can store an identifier representing a plurality of image data, and a display list of display positions (X coordinates, Y coordinates) of the respective image data, and the image data.
The operating device side control section 13 performs the following processing: an operation device side transmission process of transmitting an identifier of the image data stored in the operation device side memory 12 to the welder 20; a preparation process of receiving the display list and image data corresponding to an identifier which is not included in the identifiers transmitted by the operation device side transmission process, among the identifiers indicated by the display list, from the welder 20, and storing the image data in the operation device side memory 12; and a display process of reading image data corresponding to the identifier indicated by the display list from the operation device side memory 12 and causing the image display section 11 to display an image based on the read image data. In the case where all the identifiers indicated by the display list are included in the identifiers transmitted by the operation device side transmission process, that is, in the case where all the image data corresponding to the identifiers indicated by the display list are stored in the operation device side memory 12 in advance, the preparation process is a process of receiving only the display list from the welder 20 and storing it in the operation device side memory 12. In other words, in the preparation process, the operating device side control section 13 does not receive image data corresponding to the identifier that has been transmitted in the operating device side transmission process, out of the identifiers indicated by the display list, from the welder 20.
The welder 20 performs welding based on the information transmitted by the operation device 10. Specifically, the welder 20 includes a welder-side memory 21 and a welder-side control unit 22.
The welder-side memory 21 stores identifiers indicating a plurality of image data and a display list of display positions (X coordinates, Y coordinates) of the respective image data. According to circumstances, the welder side memory 21 stores, in addition to the display list, image data corresponding to some of the identifiers represented by the display list.
The welder-side control unit 22 performs the following processing: a reception process of receiving an identifier transmitted from the operation device 10 through the operation device side transmission process; and a welder-side transmission process of reading, from the welder-side memory 21, the display list stored in the welder-side memory 21 and image data corresponding to an identifier that is not included in the identifiers received by the reception process among the identifiers indicated by the display list, and transmitting the image data to the operation device 10. In addition, when all the identifiers indicated by the display list are included in the identifiers received by the reception process, that is, when all the identifiers of the image data corresponding to the identifiers indicated by the display list are received by the reception process, the welding-side transmission process is a process of transmitting only the display list to the operation device 10. In other words, in the welding-side transmission process, the welding-side control section 22 does not transmit image data corresponding to the identifier received through the reception process among the identifiers represented by the display list to the operation device 10.
The transmission and reception of information between the operation device 10 and the welder 20 is performed by wireless communication or wired communication.
Next, the operation of the welding system 1 configured as described above, in which the 1 st MAG welder, the 2 nd MAG welder, and the TIG welder are used as the welders 20, will be described with reference to fig. 2. In the following example, the 1 st to 6 th image data are stored in advance in the operation device side memory 12 of the operation device 10. Fig. 3 shows a 1 st image IMG1 based on 1 st image data, a 2 nd image IMG2 based on 2 nd image data, a 3 rd image IMG3 based on 3 rd image data, a 4 th image IMG4 based on 4 th image data, a 5 th image IMG5 based on 5 th image data, and a 6 th image IMG6 based on 6 th image data. First, an operation in the case where the 1 st MAG welder as the welder 20 is connected to the operation device 10 will be described. The welder side memory 21 of the 1 st MAG welder stores the display list shown in fig. 4. In the display list shown in fig. 4, identifiers (component numbers) as 1 st to 5 th image data are sequentially 1 to 5. The display list indicates the display positions (X-coordinate, Y-coordinate) of the 1 st to 5 th image data.
First, in step S11, the operation device 10 and the welder 20 are started by turning on the power supply.
Then, in step S12, the operating device side control section 13 of the operating device 10 requests the welding machine 20 to display the list, and transmits the identifier of the image data stored in the operating device side memory 12. The transmitted identifiers here are the identifiers of the 1 st to 6 th image data, specifically 1 to 6 th image data.
Accordingly, in step S13, the welder-side control unit 22 of the welder 20 receives the identifier transmitted by the operation device 10 in step S12.
Next, in step S14, the welder side control section 22 of the welder 20 compares the identifier indicated by the display list stored in the welder side memory 21 with the identifier received in step S13, and extracts an identifier that is not included in the identifiers received in step S13 among the identifiers indicated by the display list. In this example, since all of the identifiers 1 to 5 indicated by the display list are included in the identifiers 1 to 6 received through step S13, no identifier is extracted.
After that, when an arbitrary identifier is extracted in step S14, in step S15, the welder side control unit 22 of the welder 20 reads the display list and the image data corresponding to the identifier extracted in step S14 from the welder side memory 21 and transmits the read list to the operation device 10. On the other hand, in the case where no identifier is extracted in step S14, in step S15, the welder side control section 22 of the welder 20 reads only the display list from the welder side memory 21 and sends it to the operation device 10. In this example, since no identifier is extracted in step S14, in step S15 thereafter, the welder side control section 22 of the welder 20 reads only the display list from the welder side memory 21 and sends it to the operation device 10.
Thus, in step S16, the operating device side control section 13 of the operating device 10 receives the information transmitted in step S15 by the welding machine side control section 22, and causes it to be stored in the operating device side memory 12. In this example, the operating device side control section 13 receives only the display list from the welder 20 and causes it to be stored in the operating device side memory 12.
Next, in step S17, the operating device side control section 13 of the operating device 10 reads image data corresponding to the identifier indicated by the display list stored in the operating device side memory 12 from the operating device side memory 12, and causes the image display section 11 to display an image based on the read image data. In this example, as shown in fig. 5, 1 st to 5 th images IMG1 to IMG5 based on 1 st to 5 th image data are displayed by the image display section 11.
Next, an operation of the welding system 1 configured as described above in a case where the TIG welder as the welder 20 is connected to the operation device 10 will be described. The welder side memory 21 of the TIG welder stores the display list shown in fig. 6. In the display list shown in fig. 6, 1, 3, 4, and 6 are indicated in order as identifiers (part numbers) of the 1 st, 3 rd, 4 th, and 6 th image data. The display list shows the display positions (X-coordinate, Y-coordinate) of the 1 st, 3 rd, 4 th, and 6 th image data.
In this example, the operations of steps S11 to S17 shown in fig. 2 are also performed in the same manner as in the case where the 1 st MAG welder is used as the welder 20. Since all of the identifiers 1, 3, 4, and 6 indicated by the display list are included in the identifiers 1 to 6 received in step S13, the welder side control unit 22 of the welder 20 does not extract any identifier in step S14.
In step S17, as image data corresponding to the identifier indicated by the display list, as shown in fig. 7, the 1 st, 3 rd, 4 th, and 6 th images IMG1, IMG3, IMG4, and IMG6 based on the 1 st, 3 rd, 4 th, and 6 th image data are displayed by the image display unit 11.
Next, an operation of the welding system 1 configured as described above in a case where the 2 nd MAG welder as the welder 20 is connected to the operation device 10 will be described. The welder side memory 21 of the 2 nd MAG welder stores the display list shown in fig. 8. In the display list shown in fig. 8, 1 to 4 and 7 are shown in order as identifiers (component numbers) of the 1 st to 4 th and 7 th image data. The display list shows the display positions (X-coordinate, Y-coordinate) of the 1 st to 4 th and 7 th image data. The welder side memory 21 of the 2 nd MAG welder stores, in addition to the display list, image data corresponding to 7 out of the identifiers indicated by the display list.
In this example, the operations of steps S11 to S17 shown in fig. 2 are also performed. Since 7 out of the identifiers 1 to 4 and 7 indicated by the display list is not included in the identifiers 1 to 6 received in step S13, in step S14, the welder side control unit 22 of the welder 20 extracts 7 as the identifier out of the identifiers indicated by the display list, which is not included in the identifiers received in step S13.
Then, in step S15, the welder side control section 22 of the welder 20 reads only the display list and the 7 th image data corresponding to the identifier of 7 from the welder side memory 21, and transmits to the operation device 10.
In step S16, the display list and the 7 th image data corresponding to the identifier of 7 are received from the welder 20 and stored in the operation device side memory 12. Thereby, the 7 th image data for displaying the 7 th image IMG7 is added to the image data stored in the operation device side memory 12 of the operation device 10. Fig. 9 shows an image based on the image data stored in the operation device side memory after the initial setting, that is, after the end of step S16.
In step S17, as shown in fig. 11, the 1 st to 4 th and 7 th images IMG1 to IMG4 and IMG7 based on the 1 st to 4 th and 7 th image data corresponding to the identifiers indicated by the display list are displayed on the image display unit 11.
As described above, in the present embodiment, since the operation device 10 receives the display list from the welder 20 and displays the image based on the image data corresponding to the identifier indicated by the display list, it is possible to cause 1 operation device 10 to display different images according to the type of welder 20. Therefore, the operation of the welding machine 20 requesting the operation device 10 to display the plurality of kinds of images different from each other can be performed by the 1 operation device 10.
Further, since the operation device 10 can receive and store image data from the welder 20 and can refer to the stored image data at the time of displaying an image, the operation device 10 can be used for the operation of the welder 20 without modifying the operation device 10 when the welder 20 requesting the operation device 10 to display a new image is developed in the future.
In addition, in the case where the operation device 10 stores in advance image data corresponding to at least some of the identifiers indicated by the display list, only image data corresponding to the remaining identifiers indicated by the display list need to be transmitted and received between the operation device 10 and the welder 20, and therefore, the amount of transmission and reception data can be reduced, and the time taken for initial setting can be shortened.
In the above embodiment, the display list is set to be an identifier indicating a plurality of image data, but may be set to be an identifier indicating 1 image data.
In the above embodiment, the welder side memory 21 is made to store image data corresponding to some of the identifiers indicated by the display list, but may be made to store image data corresponding to all of the identifiers indicated by the display list.
In the above embodiment, the welder side control unit 22 may read image data corresponding to some of the identifiers indicated by the display list from the welder side memory 21 and transmit the image data to the operation device 10 in the step S15, but may read image data corresponding to all of the identifiers indicated by the display list from the welder side memory 21 and transmit the image data to the operation device 10. In step S15, the image data read from the welder-side memory 21 by the welder-side control unit 22 and transmitted to the operation device 10 may be all or a part of the images stored in the welder-side memory 21.
Similarly, in the above-described embodiment, the operating device side control unit 13 may receive image data corresponding to some of the identifiers indicated by the display list from the welder 20 in the case of step S16, but may receive image data corresponding to all of the identifiers indicated by the display list from the welder 20 and store the image data in the operating device side memory 12.

Claims (7)

1. An operation device is provided with:
an image display unit;
operating the device side memory; and
an operation device side control unit that executes the following processing: a preparation process of receiving, from a welder, a display list of identifiers representing at least one image data and image data corresponding to at least a part of the identifiers represented by the display list, and storing the image data in the operation device side memory; and a display process of reading image data corresponding to the identifier indicated by the display list from the operation device side memory and displaying an image based on the read image data on the image display unit.
2. The operation device according to claim 1, wherein,
the operating device side control section further performs: an operation device side transmission process of transmitting an identifier of the image data stored in the operation device side memory to the welder,
in the preparation process, image data corresponding to the identifier transmitted in the operation device side transmission process among the identifiers indicated by the display list is not received from the welder.
3. A welding machine is provided with:
a welder-side memory that stores a display list of identifiers representing at least one image data and image data corresponding to at least a part of the identifiers represented by the display list; and
and a welder-side control unit that executes a welder-side transmission process in which at least a part of the display list and the image data stored in the welder-side memory is read from the welder-side memory and transmitted to an operation device.
4. The welding machine as claimed in claim 3, wherein,
the welder-side control section further performs: a receiving process of receiving an identifier of image data stored in the operation device from the operation device,
in the welding-side transmission process, image data corresponding to the identifier received in the reception process among the identifiers represented by the display list is not transmitted to the operation device.
5. An image display method for causing an operation device of a welding machine to display an image, the image display method comprising:
a welder-side transmitting step in which the welder transmits, to the operation device, a display list of identifiers representing at least one image data and image data corresponding to at least a part of the identifiers represented by the display list;
a preparation step of the operating device receiving and storing the display list and the image data transmitted in the welding-side transmission step; and
and a display step of displaying, by the operation device, an image based on image data corresponding to the identifier represented by the display list.
6. The image display method according to claim 5, wherein,
the image display method further includes:
an operation device side transmission step of transmitting an identifier of the stored image data to the welder; and
a receiving step of receiving the identifier transmitted in the operation device side transmitting step by the welder,
in the welder-side transmitting step, the welder does not transmit image data corresponding to the identifier received in the receiving step among the identifiers represented by the display list to the operation device.
7. A welding system is provided with a welding machine and an operating device,
the welder performs: a welding side transmission process of transmitting a display list representing at least one identifier of the image data and the image data corresponding to at least a part of the identifiers represented by the display list to the operation device,
the operating device performs:
a preparation process of receiving and storing the display list and the image data transmitted by the welding-side transmission process; and
and a display process of displaying an image based on image data corresponding to the identifier indicated by the display list.
