The head-mounted display device includes a display apparatus 100, a first fixed housing 200, and a second fixed housing 300, and when the head-mounted display device is worn by a user, the display apparatus 100 can adapt to the face of the user, which can transmit optical signals to eyes, so that left and right eye screens respectively display images of left and right eyes, and the eyes can generate a stereoscopic sense in the brain after acquiring such information with differences.
Referring to fig. 1, the first fixing housing 200 includes a first wearing space, and the second fixing housing 300 includes a second wearing space and a notch 320, and the first wearing space, the second wearing space and the notch 320 are all connected to form a space adapted to the head of the user. The first wearing space can be adapted to the front side of the head of the user, the second wearing space can be adapted to the rear side of the head of the user, and the notch 320 corresponds to the rear of the brain of the user.
When the user leans against the sofa back or lies on the bed to use the head-mounted display device, the second fixed housing 300 is provided with the notch 320 at the position corresponding to the back of the brain of the user, so that the head-mounted display device cannot cause hardware compression on the head of the user, and wearing experience of the user is improved.
Referring to fig. 1, the first fixing housing 200 is provided with two protruding ends 210 at the end of the side wall thereof, the two protruding ends 210 are symmetrically disposed about the center line of the first fixing housing 200, and the protruding ends 210 correspond to the face of the user, so that the contact area between the first fixing housing 200 and the head of the user can be increased, and the stability during wearing can be improved.
Referring to fig. 1, one side of the first fixed housing 200 is fixedly connected to the display device 100, and the middle of the other side thereof is rotatably connected to the middle of one side of the second fixed housing 300 through at least one set of adjusting means. The above-mentioned adjusting means is provided at the side end of the first fixed housing 200 such that the side wall end of the first fixed housing 200 and the side wall end of the second fixed housing 300 can be fixed or moved relatively.
When the adjusting device is in the locked state, the first fixing housing 200 and the second fixing housing 300 are relatively fixed to ensure the safety and stability when being worn. When the adjusting device is in the adjusting state, the distance between the sidewall end of the first fixed housing 200 and the sidewall end of the second fixed housing 300 can be increased or decreased, and the sidewall middle of the first fixed housing 200 and the sidewall middle of the second fixed housing 300 can rotate relatively, so that the relative position between the first fixed housing 200 and the second fixed housing 300 can be adjusted according to the head circumference of the user.
Because there is the difference in the head circumference of different users, because the middle part of one side of first fixed casing 200 is articulated with the middle part of one side of second fixed casing 300 to adjusting device can control the distance and the connected state between the lateral wall tip of first fixed casing 200 and the lateral wall tip of second fixed casing 300, therefore can control the distance between the lateral wall of first fixed casing 200 and the lateral wall of second fixed casing 300, the total space that makes first wearing space and second wearing space formation can adapt to the head circumference of user and change, makes wear-type display device can adapt to the user of multiple different head circumferences, improves user's experience of wearing.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the middle portion of one side of the second fixed housing 300 is rotatably connected to the middle portion of one side of the first fixed housing 200 by hinge assemblies, and two sets of hinge assemblies are illustrated as an example in this application, but the number of hinge assemblies is not particularly limited to the scope of protection of this application.
Each of the above-mentioned hinge assemblies includes a pin 410 and at least one return spring 420, the return spring 420 is sleeved outside the pin 410, and meanwhile, the first fixing housing 200 is provided with a first shaft hole 220, opposite sides of the second fixing housing 300 are provided with fixing seats, and the fixing seats are provided with second shaft holes 340.

When the head-mounted display device is adapted to a user with a large head circumference, the adjusting device may control the sidewall end of the first fixed housing 200 to be separated from the sidewall end of the second fixed housing 300 by a distance, and at this time, the second fixed housing 300 rotates by an angle relative to the first fixed housing 200, so that the return spring 420 disposed in the first shaft hole 220 and the second shaft hole 340 is in a compressed state. The return spring 420 may apply a force to the second stationary housing 300 such that the second stationary housing 300 is closely attached to the rear side of the user's head, thereby improving stability and safety of the head-mounted display device when it is worn.
When the head-mounted display device is taken down, the adjusting device is used to control the first and second fixed housings 200 and 300 to reset to the initial state, the reset spring 420 can convert its elastic force into the thrust of the rotation of the second fixed housing 300, so as to assist the second fixed housing 300 to rotate to a position fitting the first fixed housing 200, thereby facilitating the storage of the head-mounted display device.
Referring to fig. 1, the head-mounted display apparatus includes two sets of adjusting devices symmetrically disposed about a center line of the first fixed housing 200. Since the adjusting means can control the distance and the connection state between the sidewall end of the first and second fixed housings 200 and 300, the two sets of symmetrically disposed adjusting means can increase the stability and reliability of the connection of the first and second fixed housings 200 and 300. In addition, the distance and the connection state between the first fixed housing 200 and the second fixed housing 300 can be changed by controlling the adjusting devices at the two sides simultaneously, so that the head-mounted display device can be ensured not to change due to running, swinging and other actions when being worn, and can be applied to the fields of games, sports, entertainment, military training and the like.
Referring to fig. 1-3, each adjusting device includes a base 500, an adjusting gear 600, an extending arm 310, a hand wheel 700, and a limiting member 800, wherein the base 500 is disposed at an end of a side wall of the first fixed housing 200, a mounting space 510 and a mounting hole 530 are formed in the base 500, and the mounting space 510 can be communicated with an outside of the base 500 through the mounting hole 530. The adjusting gear 600 is disposed in the installation space 510, one side end of the adjusting gear 600 is rotatably connected to the base 500, and the other side end of the adjusting gear 600 passes through the installation hole 530 to the outside of the installation space 510.
Referring to fig. 3, a surface of the base 500 facing away from the first fixing case 200 is concavely formed with an annular mounting groove 520, and the mounting groove 520 communicates with the mounting space 510 through a mounting hole 530. The side end of the adjustment gear 600 may pass through the mounting hole 530 and protrude into the inside of the mounting groove 520.
Referring to fig. 4-7, the hand wheel 700 is fixedly connected to the adjusting gear 600 by fastening screws such that the hand wheel 700 can drive the adjusting gear 600 to rotate. The end surface of the hand wheel 700 facing the adjusting gear 600 is provided with a mounting post 710, and the mounting post 710 extends into the mounting groove 520 and is clamped with the end of the adjusting gear 600, so that the assembly accuracy of the hand wheel 700 and the adjusting gear 600 is ensured.
Referring to fig. 4-8, the limiting member 800 is disposed between the hand wheel 700 and the base 500, and a first through hole 830 is formed in the middle of the limiting member 800, so that the limiting member 800 can be sleeved on the outer sidewall of the mounting post 710, and the limiting member 800 can move along the axial direction of the mounting post 710, thereby locking and unlocking the hand wheel 700 by using the limiting member 800.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the sidewall end of the second fixed housing 300 is provided with a protruding arm 310, and the protruding arm 310 passes through the installation space 510 and is adapted to the adjusting gear 600. The protruding arm 310 is in an arc-shaped strip structure, the protruding arm 310 is provided with an arc-shaped clamping groove 311 along the length direction, and the shape of the clamping groove 311 is matched with the rotation track of the second fixed shell 300. More than two gear teeth 312 are arranged on the upper side and/or the lower side of the clamping groove 311, and the gear teeth 312 can be externally meshed with the adjusting gear 600. When the hand wheel 700 drives the adjustment gear 600 to rotate, the second stationary housing 300 can be driven to move relative to the first stationary housing 200 by the engagement of the adjustment gear 600 with the gear teeth 312.
Referring to fig. 2 to 5, when the adjustment according to the head circumference of the user is required, the hand wheel 700 is rotated and the extension arm 310 is driven to move by the engagement of the adjusting gear 600 and the gear teeth 312, so that the distance between the sidewall end of the first fixed housing 200 and the sidewall end of the second fixed housing 300 can be adapted to the head circumference of the user. When the head-mounted display device does not need to be adjusted, the limiting member 800 can be clamped to the end surface of the hand wheel 700, so that the first fixing housing 200 and the second fixing housing 300 are relatively fixed.
Referring to fig. 6-8, the limiting member 800 is made of an elastic material, so that the limiting member 800 has a certain elastic deformation property, and in this application, a metal material with good elastic property is preferred as the material of the limiting member 800. Because the first through hole 830 is formed in the center of the limiting member 800, the limiting member 800 has a circular structure, and the limiting member 800 is sleeved outside the mounting post 710 and is disposed in the mounting groove 520.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the inner side wall of the mounting groove 520 is provided with more than two first limiting grooves 521, and all the first limiting grooves 521 in the present application are annularly arrayed at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the mounting groove 520. The side wall of the limiting member 800 is provided with at least one first limiting protrusion 820 in a protruding manner, and each first limiting protrusion 820 can correspondingly extend into one first limiting groove 521, so that the limiting member 800 is limited to rotate circumferentially by the first limiting groove 521 on the mounting groove 520, and the limiting member 800 can only approach or depart from the hand wheel 700 along the axial direction thereof.
Referring to fig. 1, the end surface of the limiting member 800 facing the hand wheel 700 forms at least one bending portion 810, and at least one second segment 811 is disposed on the end surface of the bending portion 810 facing the hand wheel 700, so that the end surface of the hand wheel 700 is conveniently abutted by the second segment 811.
Referring to fig. 6-8, the end face of the hand wheel 700 facing the side of the limiting member 800 is provided with more than two first sector blocks 720, the first sector blocks 720 are uniformly distributed along the circumferential direction of the gear, and a first sector groove 730 is formed between two adjacent first sector blocks 720. The second segment 811 can be locked into the first segment 730, so that the hand wheel 700 cannot rotate due to the running, swinging or other actions by using the locking force between the first segment 720 and the second segment 811, and wearing comfort of the head-mounted display device is improved.
Referring to fig. 2 to 8, when it is required to adjust the distance between the first and second fixed housings 200 and 300 according to the head circumference of the user, the hand wheel 700 is rotated such that it can drive the adjusting gear 600 to rotate, thereby driving the second fixed housing 300 to approach or separate from the first fixed housing 200 by the engagement of the adjusting gear 600 with the gear teeth 312. Meanwhile, during rotation of the hand wheel 700, the second segment 811 may slide from the inside of one first segment 730 to the inside of the adjacent other first segment 730. When the second segment 811 is turned out from one first segment 730 to the adjacent first segment 720, the first segment 720 applies a pushing force to the second segment 811, so that the curvature of the bending portion 810 gradually decreases under the pushing force, and the limiting member 800 gradually moves away from the hand wheel 700 along the axial direction of the mounting post 710. When the second segment 811 slides from the first segment 720 into the adjacent first segment 730, the pushing force exerted by the hand wheel 700 on the limiting member 800 gradually decreases, and at this time, the limiting member 800 is reset by utilizing its own elastic property, so that the second segment 811 gradually approaches the hand wheel 700 and is clamped into the other first segment 730.
Referring to fig. 2 to 8, when the head-mounted display device is worn on the head of a user or is stored, the first fixing housing 200 and the second fixing housing 300 are relatively fixed, and each of the second segments 811 is correspondingly clamped into one of the first segment grooves 730, so that the hand wheel 700 can be locked by using the clamping force between the second segment 811 and the first segment groove 730, and the hand wheel 700 is prevented from rotating due to external force during high-strength activities such as games and sports.
Referring to fig. 2-8, the movement stroke of the limiting member 800 along the axial direction of the mounting post 710 is shorter in the present application, and the movement stroke is mainly related to the deformation amount of the limiting member 800. According to the maximum adjusting range design of the first fixing housing 200 and the second fixing housing 300, the length of the clamping groove 311 is designed, and the adjusting range can be finely divided through the engagement of the adjusting gear 600 and the gear teeth 312 and the clamping of the first fan-shaped groove 730 and the second fan-shaped block 811, so that the head-mounted display device is suitable for users with different head-surrounding. Meanwhile, the second fan-shaped block 811 can be sequentially clamped with the plurality of first fan-shaped grooves 730, so that the position of the second fixed housing 300 can be accurately and controllably adjusted, and a user can quickly and conveniently determine the adjusting position for adapting to the head circumference of the user. Meanwhile, in the activities with larger intensity such as games and sports, the adjusting gear rotates due to external acting force, so that the stability of the performance state of the head-mounted display equipment in use is ensured, and the wearing experience of a user is improved.
Referring to fig. 7 and 9, the end surface of the mounting post 710 extending into the mounting groove 520 is recessed to form more than two second limiting grooves 711, all the second limiting grooves 711 are uniformly formed along the circumferential direction of the mounting post 710, and a second limiting protrusion 712 is formed between two adjacent second limiting grooves 711. The side wall of the adjusting gear 600 includes two or more adjusting teeth 610, and the adjusting teeth 610 are equally spaced in the circumferential direction of the adjusting gear 600. Each adjusting tooth 610 includes a first portion 611 and a second portion 612, where the first portion 611 is disposed in the installation space 510 of the base 500, and the second portion 612 may pass through the installation hole 530 and correspondingly engage with the limiting protrusion, so that an end of each adjusting tooth 610 can be correspondingly clamped into one of the second limiting grooves 711.
Referring to fig. 3, 7 and 9, the second portion 612 includes a first end portion and a second end portion disposed opposite to each other, wherein a radial width of the first end portion is greater than a radial width of the second end portion, the first end portion is connected to the first portion 611, and the second end portion can pass through the mounting hole 530 and be snapped into the second limiting groove 711.
By means of the clamping connection between the adjusting gear 600 and the second limiting groove 711, the mounting precision of the hand wheel 700 and the adjusting gear 600 can be improved, and meanwhile, the contact area and the clamping force between the adjusting gear 600 and the hand wheel 700 can be increased, so that the connection strength of the hand wheel 700 and the mounting of the adjusting gear 600 is improved.
Referring to fig. 1, a battery compartment 230 is provided at a position of the first stationary housing 200 corresponding to the top of the head of the user for mounting a power supply battery. Because the power supply battery has a certain weight, locating the battery compartment 230 at the top of the head of the user can make the acting force borne by the head-mounted display device relatively balanced, thereby improving the wearing comfort of the user.
Referring to fig. 1, a protection pad 330 is disposed at an end of a sidewall of the second fixing housing 300, and the protection pad 330 may be made of other materials such as an air bag and a foam pad. When the second fixing case 300 is covered on the rear side of the user's head, the protection pad 330 may be attached to the user's head, thereby preventing the user's head from being collided and pressed during activities of high intensity such as games, sports, etc., and thus improving wearing comfort.
Referring to fig. 1 to 9, since the notch 320 on the second fixed housing 300 corresponds to the back of the user's brain, when the user leans against the sofa back or lies on the bed to use the head-mounted display device, the head-mounted display device will not cause hardware compression on the user's head, thereby improving the wearing experience of the user.
Since the notch 320 on the second fixing case 300 corresponds to the back of the brain of the user, in order to ensure the safety and stability of the head-mounted display device when being worn, the contact area with the head of the user needs to be increased by using the first fixing case 200 and the second fixing case 300. Meanwhile, the middle part of the side wall of the first fixed casing 200 can rotate relative to the middle part of the side wall of the second fixed casing 300, and the distance between the end part of the side wall of the first fixed casing 200 and the end part of the side wall of the second fixed casing 300 can be controlled to be increased or decreased by utilizing the adjusting device, so that the wear of a user is facilitated, and the head-mounted display device can be adapted to users with different head circumferences.
