It should be noted that the embodiment shown in fig. 3 may be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the disclosure, and specifically may be selected as needed, which is not limited by the disclosure.
In some embodiments, the terminal may determine whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or will occur according to the first information. Since the report is deleted (also described as released, discarded) when the terminal determines that the first event has occurred or is about to occur. In some scenarios, the terminal is detected to be, or about to be, a first event without the terminal sending the report to the network device. In other words, in the case where the terminal does not send the report to the network device, it may cause resource waste in response to detecting that the terminal has the first event or that the report is deleted about to occur. According to the present embodiment, the terminal may perform report transmission when determining that the first event occurs or is about to occur, for example, so as to ensure that the terminal may transmit the report to the network device, which is advantageous in avoiding waste of resources. In one example, report sending is performed when the terminal determines that a first event occurs or is about to occur. In another example, when the terminal determines that the first event occurs or is about to occur, report transmission is performed before the report is not deleted.
In some embodiments, the report sending method further comprises: and receiving the first information sent by the first network equipment.
In some embodiments, the first network device comprises at least one of: an access network device; core network equipment; an operation and maintenance management (Operation Administration and Maintenance, OAM) device.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating another report sending method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The report transmission method shown in the present embodiment may be performed by a terminal. As shown in fig. 4, the report sending method further includes:
in step S401, capability indication information is sent to the first network device or the second network device, where the capability indication information is used to indicate whether the terminal supports report sending.
It should be noted that the embodiment shown in fig. 4 may be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the disclosure, and specifically may be selected as needed, which is not limited by the disclosure. In addition, step S401 may be performed before step S301 as shown in fig. 4, may be performed after step S301, or may be performed simultaneously with step S301.
In some embodiments, the terminal may send the capability indication information to a first network device, where the first network device may be a network device in a first network in which the terminal is located. The first network device may determine whether the terminal supports report transmission according to the capability indication information so that the first network device may perform appropriate subsequent operations accordingly. For example, in the case where it is determined that the terminal supports report transmission, a report request may be transmitted to the terminal for requesting the terminal to transmit a report to the first network device; for example, in the case that it is determined that the terminal does not support report transmission, it may be unnecessary to transmit a report request to the terminal, which is advantageous in saving communication resources.
In some embodiments, the terminal may send capability indication information to a second network device, wherein the second network device may switch the terminal from the first network to a network device in the second network. The second network device may determine whether the terminal supports report transmission according to the capability indication information so that the second network device may perform appropriate subsequent operations accordingly. For example, in the case where it is determined that the terminal supports report transmission, a report request may be transmitted to the terminal for requesting the terminal to transmit a report to the second network device; for example, in the case that it is determined that the terminal does not support report transmission, it may be unnecessary to transmit a report request to the terminal, which is advantageous in saving communication resources.
In some embodiments, the terminal may explicitly transmit the capability indication information. For example, the terminal may carry the capability indication information in a terminal capability message. For example, an information field may be newly added to the terminal capability message, or an existing information field may be used as capability indication information, and then the first network device or the second network device that receives the terminal capability message may determine whether the terminal supports report transmission according to the capability indication information.
In some embodiments, the terminal may implicitly transmit the capability indication information. For example, the terminal transmits information related to report transmission to the first network device or the second network device, the information related to report transmission including, but not limited to, one of: report, report request, first information. The first network device or the second network device receives the report transmission related information, and may determine that the terminal supports report transmission.
In some embodiments, the first event includes at least one of:
the terminal is registered;
the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area;
the length of time for performing the reported measurements is greater than or equal to the first length of time;
the duration of the maintenance report is greater than or equal to the second duration;
the terminal receives the new configuration of the measurement.
In some embodiments, the first event may include the terminal deregistering. When the terminal is deregistered or the terminal is about to deregister, the terminal may delete the report, e.g., the terminal is deregistered from the first network, and then the terminal may delete the report obtained in the first network, which may result in wasted resources, before the report has not been sent to the network device in the first network.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal can perform report sending when registering or going to registering, and send the report to the network equipment in the first network, so that waste of resources is avoided.
In some embodiments, the de-registration of the terminal may be triggered by a Network handoff, including but not limited to a handoff between a SNPN (Stand-alone-Public Network) and a PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network ).
In some embodiments, the terminal de-registers, including at least one of: a terminal triggered deregistration process, and a network device triggered deregistration process.
For example, the terminal triggered de-registration procedure includes: the terminal informs the network device that the terminal no longer wishes to access the first network, and can realize that the terminal is unregistered from the first network.
For example, the network device triggered de-registration procedure includes: the network device informs the terminal that the terminal can not access the first network any more, and the terminal can be registered from the first network.
For example, the network device triggered de-registration procedure includes: the network device informs the terminal that the first network registered by the terminal is not allowed to run at the position of the terminal, and the terminal can be unregistered from the first network.
Wherein the first network comprises at least one of: public network, non-public network. Wherein the public network includes, but is not limited to, a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN).
Taking the network device triggered deregistration procedure as an example, the network device may explicitly instruct the terminal to deregister, or the network device may implicitly instruct the terminal to deregister.
The network device explicitly instructs the terminal to register, for example, the terminal may be indicated by signaling such as a cause (cause) of radio resource control establishment (RRCestablishment), a cause (RRCresume) of radio resource control recovery (RRCresume), and the like.
The network device implicitly instructs the terminal to de-register, for example, by information such as network identification information, network type information, terminal access status indication (e.g., independent non-public network access mode (SNPN access mode)), etc. For example, the network device implicitly indicates the terminal to register through the network identifier information, and after the terminal receives the network identifier information, the terminal can determine whether the network identifier in the network identifier information is in the network identifier registered by the terminal, and if not, the terminal can determine that the terminal needs to register. For example, the terminal may deregister from the currently registered first network and register with the network corresponding to the network identification information.
In some embodiments, the first event may include the terminal moving out of the pre-configured area. For example, the terminal may store information of the pre-configured area for which the report applies, e.g., the information of the pre-configured area includes, but is not limited to, one or more area identities, e.g., the information of the pre-configured area may be a list of area identities.
In some embodiments, the region identification includes at least one of: network identity, tracking area code (Tracking Area Code, TAC), tracking area identity (Tracking Area Identity, TAI), cell identity.
In some embodiments, the network identification includes at least one of: public network identification, non-public network identification.
In some embodiments, the non-public network includes at least one of: a Stand-alone Non-Public Network (SNPN), a Public and Non-Public integrated Network (Public Network Integrated NPN, PNI-NPN).
Taking the example that the public network comprises PLMNs, the information of the pre-configuration information may comprise a PLMN identification list, which comprises at least one PLMN identification. The terminal determines whether the location is outside the PLMN corresponding to the PLMN identifier included in the PLMN identifier list, and if the location is outside the PLMN corresponding to the PLMN identifier included in the PLMN list, the terminal may be determined to move out of the pre-configured area.
When the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area or the terminal is about to move out of the pre-configured area, the report in the terminal is not suitable for the network to which the terminal belongs, so the terminal can delete the report, for example, the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area to move out of the first network, the terminal can delete the report obtained in the first network, and before the report is not sent to the network equipment in the first network, the terminal deletes the report, which leads to resource waste.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal can perform report sending when moving out of the pre-configured area or going out of the pre-configured area, and send the report to the network equipment in the first network, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the first event may include the terminal performing the reported measurement for a duration greater than or equal to the first duration. The terminal may delete the report when a duration of the terminal performing the reported measurement is greater than or equal to the first duration or a duration of the terminal performing the reported measurement is about to be greater than or equal to the first duration. For example, the first duration may be 48 hours, although the first duration is not limited to 48 hours, and may be adjusted as desired, and the disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, when the duration of the measurement of the report performed by the terminal is greater than or equal to the first duration or when the duration of the measurement of the report performed by the terminal is about to be greater than or equal to the first duration, the report obtained in the first network is deleted, and the report is not yet sent to the network device in the first network, which may result in resource waste.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal may perform report transmission when the duration of performing the measurement of the report is greater than or equal to the first duration or the duration of performing the measurement of the report is about to be greater than or equal to the first duration, and transmit the report to the network device in the first network, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the terminal may also send the duration of the measurement to perform the report, or the remaining duration of the measurement to perform the report relative to the first duration, to the network device in order to assist the network device in determining whether to perform the report retrieval.
For example, in the case where the network device determines that the remaining time period is relatively short (e.g., less than a preset time period), it is indicated that the terminal will soon delete the report, and report retrieval may be performed, e.g., a report request is sent to the terminal, and the terminal may send a report to the network device based on the report request.
In some embodiments, the first event may include the terminal maintenance report having a duration greater than or equal to the second duration. The terminal may delete the report when the duration of the terminal maintenance report is greater than or equal to the second duration or the duration of the terminal maintenance report is about to be greater than or equal to the second duration. For example, the terminal may begin maintenance reporting when a configured timer for the measurement (e.g., the timer may be T330 when MDT is measured) expires, or a reporting variable is full. For example, the second time period may be 48 hours, although the second time period is not limited to 48 hours, and may be adjusted as desired, and the present disclosure is not limited thereto. For example, when the duration of the maintenance report is greater than or equal to the second duration or the duration of the maintenance report is about to be greater than or equal to the second duration, the terminal deletes the report obtained in the first network, and the report is not yet sent to the network device in the first network, which would result in resource waste.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal can execute report sending when the duration of maintaining the report is greater than or equal to the second duration or the duration of maintaining the report is about to be greater than or equal to the second duration, and send the report to the network equipment in the first network, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the terminal may also report the duration of the maintenance report to the network device, or the remaining duration of the maintenance report relative to the second duration, in order to assist the network device in determining whether to perform report retrieval.
In some embodiments, the first event may include the new configuration of the terminal receiving the measurement. When the terminal receives the new configuration of the measurement or the new configuration of the measurement is to be received by the terminal, the terminal may delete the report, e.g. the new configuration of the measurement is received by the terminal as the new configuration of the measurement is to be received by the terminal, and the terminal may delete the report obtained in the first network, and before the report is not sent to the network device in the first network, the terminal deletes the report, which may result in wasting resources.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal can perform report sending when receiving the new configuration of the measurement or when the terminal is about to receive the new configuration of the measurement, and send the report to the network device in the first network, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the first information includes at least one of:
first indication information for indicating that a first event occurs or is about to occur;
and second indication information for indicating whether or not report transmission is performed when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
Fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating yet another report sending method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The report sending method shown in this embodiment may be executed by a terminal, as shown in fig. 5, and determining whether to execute report sending when a first event occurs or will occur according to first information includes:
in step S501, it is determined that a first event occurs or is about to occur according to first information, wherein the first information includes first indication information;
in step S502, it is determined whether or not report transmission is performed when the first event occurs or will occur based on the implementation.
It should be noted that the embodiment shown in fig. 5 may be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the disclosure, and specifically may be selected as needed, which is not limited by the disclosure.
In some embodiments, the first information may include first indication information, but not second indication information. In this case, the terminal may determine that the first event occurs or will occur based on the first information, and the terminal may determine based on the implementation as to whether the report transmission is performed when the first event occurs or will occur.
Taking the example that the first event includes the terminal registering.
The first indication information may be sent by a core network device (the first network device comprising the core network device) to the terminal, e.g. the core network device may comprise an AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function, access mobility management function). The AMF may send first indication information to the terminal, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be unregistered or that the terminal is to be unregistered, for example, the AMF may carry the first indication information in a unregistered request or a unregistered accept message. After receiving the first information, the terminal may determine that the first event occurs or will occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and further may determine whether to perform report sending when deregistering or going to deregister based on implementation.
In addition, when determining to perform report transmission, the terminal may transmit at least one of the following to the network device: reporting, reporting availability indication of the relevant information. Wherein the report-related information may include at least one of: reporting, reporting configuration of the corresponding measurement.
Fig. 6 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating yet another report sending method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The report sending method shown in this embodiment may be executed by a terminal, as shown in fig. 6, and determining whether to execute report sending when a first event occurs or will occur according to first information includes:
in step S601, it is determined that a first event occurs or is about to occur;
in step S602, it is determined whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or will occur according to first information, wherein the first information includes second indication information.
It should be noted that the embodiment shown in fig. 6 may be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the disclosure, and specifically may be selected as needed, which is not limited by the disclosure.
In some embodiments, the first information may include the second indication information, but not the first indication information. In this case, the terminal may determine that the first event occurs or will occur based on information other than the first information, and determine whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or will occur based on the second information.
The second indication information may be sent to the terminal by a network device (e.g., a base station, a core network device, an OAM, etc.), for example, the network device may send the second indication information to the terminal in report retrieval related indication information, where the report retrieval related indication information includes, but is not limited to, a configuration for reporting a corresponding measurement, for example, a measurement is log minimization of drive test (log MDT), and the configuration may be a log measurementconfiguration.
When the terminal determines that the first event is occurring or is about to occur, for example, taking the example that the first event includes a new configuration in which the terminal receives the measurement, the terminal may determine that the first event is occurring or is about to occur when the terminal receives a new configuration in which the base station transmits the measurement. Further, the terminal can determine whether or not to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the second indication information of the report retrieval related indication information.
Fig. 7 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating yet another report sending method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The report sending method shown in this embodiment may be executed by a terminal, as shown in fig. 7, and determining whether to execute report sending when a first event occurs or will occur according to first information includes:
in step S701, it is determined that a first event occurs or is about to occur according to the first information;
in step S702, it is determined whether or not report transmission is performed when the first event occurs or will occur, based on the first information; wherein the first information includes first indication information and second indication information.
It should be noted that the embodiment shown in fig. 7 may be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the disclosure, and specifically may be selected as needed, which is not limited by the disclosure.
In some embodiments, the first information may include first indication information and second indication information. In this case, the terminal may determine that the first event occurs or will occur based on the first indication information, and determine whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or will occur based on the second indication information.
Taking the example that the first event includes the terminal registering. The first indication information may be sent by a core network device (the first network device comprising the core network device) to the terminal, e.g. the core network device may comprise an AMF. The AMF may send first indication information to the terminal, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be unregistered or that the terminal is to be unregistered, for example, the AMF may carry the first indication information in a unregistered request or a unregistered accept message.
After the terminal receives the first information, the terminal can determine that the first event occurs or is about to occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and then the terminal can determine whether to execute report sending when the first event occurs or is about to occur according to the second indication information in the report retrieval related indication information.
In some embodiments, the report sending method further comprises at least one of:
storing first information;
the first information is sent to the second network device.
In some embodiments, after receiving the first information, the terminal may store the first information for subsequent use. For example, the terminal may store the first information inside the terminal, e.g., measured as MDT, and the terminal may store the first information in an MDT report variable.
In some embodiments, the terminal may send the first information to the second network device, wherein the first network device and the second network device may be different network devices, for example network devices in different networks, according to which the second network device determines whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur according to the first information.
In some embodiments, transmitting the first information to the second network device includes: and switching from the first network to the second network, and sending the first information to second network equipment in the second network.
For example, the terminal may switch from the first network to the second network or reselect from the first network to the second network during movement, and may send the first information to a second network device in the second network. Accordingly, the second network device may also determine whether to perform report retrieval based on the first information, subsequently when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
In some embodiments, the terminal may first determine whether the report transmission has been completed. For example, it is determined that the report transmission is performed, but the procedure of the terminal transmitting the report to the first network device is not completed, it may be determined that the report transmission is not completed; for example, it may be determined that the report transmission is performed and the procedure of the terminal transmitting the report to the first network device is completed, it may be determined that the report transmission is completed.
For example, in case the report transmission is not completed, the terminal may transmit the first information to a second network device in the second network, and the second network device may continue to perform report retrieval according to the first information, for example, request the terminal to transmit a part of the report, which has not been transmitted to the network device, to the second network device, or to retransmit the report to the second network device, so that the terminal may complete the entire transmission of the report.
For example, in case the report transmission is completed, the terminal may determine that the report has been completely transmitted to the first network device, and then the terminal may not transmit the first information to the second network device in order to save communication resources.
For example, in the case where the report transmission is completed, the terminal may transmit first information (e.g., the first information includes second indication information) to the second network device, although it may be determined that the report has been completely transmitted to the first network device, so that the second network device may determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or will occur, based on the first information. For example, when the first event occurs or will occur after the terminal is handed over to the second network, the second network device may determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or will occur according to the first information.
In a second aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure propose a report retrieval method. Fig. 8 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating a report retrieval method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The report retrieval method shown in this embodiment may be performed by the first network device. As shown in fig. 8, the report retrieval method may include the steps of:
In step S801, it is determined whether or not report retrieval is performed when a first event occurs or will occur, based on the first information.
It should be noted that the embodiment shown in fig. 8 may be implemented independently or in combination with at least one other embodiment in the disclosure, and specifically may be selected as needed, which is not limited by the disclosure.
In some embodiments, the first network device may determine from the first information whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur. According to the embodiment, for example, the first network device determines that the first event occurs or will occur at the terminal, and the first network device may perform report retrieval, for example, send a report request to the terminal, so that the terminal may send a report to the network device, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources. In one example, report retrieval is performed when the first network device determines that a first event occurs or is about to occur. In another example, report retrieval is performed when the network device determines that the first event occurs or is about to occur, and before the terminal does not delete the report.
In some embodiments, the report retrieval method further comprises at least one of:
the receiving terminal sends first information;
first information sent by a core network device or an operation and maintenance management (OAM) device is received.
In some embodiments, the first network device comprises at least one of: an access network device; core network equipment; and operating the maintenance management device.
For example, the first network device includes an access network device, which may receive the first information from the terminal, or may receive the first information from the core network device, or may receive the first information from the OAM.
For example, the first network device includes a core network device, which may receive the first information from the terminal, or may receive the first information from the access network device, or may receive the first information from the OAM.
For example, the first network device comprises OAM, which may receive the first information from the terminal, or may receive the first information from the access network device, or may receive the first information from the core network device.
In some embodiments, the first information includes first indication information and second indication information, which the first network device may receive from different devices.
Taking the first network device as an access network device as an example. For example, the access network device may receive the first indication information from the terminal and the second indication information from other access network devices or core network devices or operation maintenance management devices. For example, the access network device may receive the first indication information from another access network device or core network device or operation maintenance management device, and receive the second indication information from the terminal.
Taking the first network device as a core network device as an example. For example, the core network device may receive the first indication information from the terminal and the second indication information from the access network device or other core network device or operation maintenance management device. For example, the core network device may receive the first indication information from the access network device or other core network device or operation maintenance management device, and receive the second indication information from the terminal.
Taking a first network device as an operation maintenance management device as an example. For example, the operation and maintenance management device may receive the first indication information from the terminal and the second indication information from the access network device or the core network device. For example, the operation maintenance management device may receive the first indication information from the access network device or the core network device, and receive the second indication information from the terminal.
In some embodiments, the report retrieval method further comprises: and sending capability indication information to the terminal, wherein the capability indication information is used for indicating whether the first network equipment supports report retrieval or not.
In some embodiments, the first network device may send capability indication information to the terminal, where the first network device may be a network device in a first network in which the terminal is located. The terminal may determine whether the first network device supports report retrieval based on the capability indication information so that the terminal may perform appropriate subsequent operations accordingly. For example, in the case that it is determined that the first network device supports report retrieval, the terminal may wait for receiving a report request of the first network device and then send a report to the first network device; for example, in case it is determined that the first network device does not support the report transmission, the terminal may not have to wait for a report request of the first network device, but autonomously transmit a report to the first network device in order to transmit the report to the first network device in time.
In some embodiments, the first network device may send the capability indication information explicitly, or may send the capability indication information implicitly.
Taking the example that the first network device implicitly sends the capability indication information to the terminal. In some embodiments, the report retrieval method further comprises: and sending a report request to the terminal. For example, the report request is used to implicitly indicate that the first network device supports report retrieval.
That is, in some embodiments, the first network device may send a newly defined report request to the terminal, which may request the terminal to send a report on the one hand, and may serve to implicitly indicate that the first network device supports report retrieval on the other hand. The terminal may send a report to the network device according to the newly defined report request, and may also determine that the first network device supports report retrieval.
Taking the example that the first network device sends the capability indication information to the terminal in an explicit manner, the network device may carry the capability indication information in the radio resource control RRC signaling, and explicitly indicate whether the first network device supports report retrieval through the capability indication information.
In some embodiments, the first event includes at least one of:
the terminal is registered;
the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area;
the length of time for performing the reported measurements is greater than or equal to the first length of time;
The duration of the maintenance report is greater than or equal to the second duration;
the terminal receives the new configuration of the measurement.
In some embodiments, the first event may include the terminal deregistering. When the first network device determines that the terminal is deregistered or that the terminal is about to deregister, the terminal may delete the report, e.g., the first network device determines that the terminal is deregistered from the first network, then the terminal may delete the report obtained in the first network, and the terminal deletes the report before the report has not been sent to the network devices in the first network, which may result in wasted resources.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the first network device may perform report retrieval when the terminal is unregistered or is about to be unregistered, for example, send a report request to the terminal, and the terminal may send a report to the first network device, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the terminal de-registration may be triggered by a network handoff, including but not limited to a handoff between a SNPN and a PLMN.
For example, the first network device may store information of the pre-configured area for which the report applies, e.g., the information of the pre-configured area includes, but is not limited to, one or more area identities, e.g., the information of the pre-configured area may be a list of area identities.
In some embodiments, the region identification includes at least one of: network identification, tracking Area Code (TAC), tracking Area Identification (TAI), cell identification.
In some embodiments, the network identification includes at least one of: public network identification, non-public network identification.
In some embodiments, the non-public network includes at least one of: an independent non-public network (SNPN), a public and non-public integrated network (PNI-NPN).
Taking the example that the public network comprises PLMNs, the information of the pre-configuration information may comprise a PLMN identification list, which comprises at least one PLMN identification. The first network device determines whether the location of the terminal is outside the PLMN corresponding to the PLMN identifier included in the PLMN identifier list, and if it is determined that the terminal is outside the PLMN corresponding to the PLMN identifier included in the PLMN list, it may be determined that the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the first network device may perform report retrieval when the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area or is about to move out of the pre-configured area, for example, send a report request to the terminal, and the terminal may send a report to the first network device, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the first network device may perform report retrieval when a duration of the terminal performing the measurement of the report is greater than or equal to the first duration or a duration of the measurement of the report is about to be greater than or equal to the first duration, for example, send a report request to the terminal, and the terminal may send the report to the first network device, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the first network device may perform report retrieval when the duration of the maintenance report of the terminal is greater than or equal to the second duration or the duration of the maintenance report is about to be greater than or equal to the second duration, for example, send a report request to the terminal, and the terminal may send the report to the first network device, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the terminal may also report the duration of the maintenance report to the network device, or the remaining duration of the maintenance report relative to the second duration, in order to assist the network device in determining whether to perform report retrieval.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the first network device may perform report retrieval when the terminal receives a new configuration of measurement or the terminal is about to receive a new configuration of measurement, for example, send a report request to the terminal, and the terminal may send a report to the first network device, which is beneficial to avoiding waste of resources.
In some embodiments, the first information includes at least one of:
first indication information for indicating that a first event occurs or is about to occur;
and second indication information for indicating whether report retrieval is performed when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
In some embodiments, determining from the first information whether to perform report retrieval upon occurrence or about to occur of the first event includes: determining that a first event occurs or is about to occur according to first information, wherein the first information comprises first indication information; based on the implementation, a determination is made as to whether to perform report sending when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
In some embodiments, the first information may include first indication information, but not second indication information. In this case, the first network device may determine that the first event occurs or will occur based on the first information, and the first network device may determine based on the implementation as to whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or will occur.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises a base station, the first event comprises the terminal registering.
The first indication information may be sent by the terminal to the base station, for example, the terminal may carry the first indication information in a random access message (for example, msg 5), where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be registered or that the terminal is to be registered. After receiving the first information, the base station may determine that the first event occurs or will occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and may further perform report retrieval based on implementation determination whether the terminal is to be registered or the terminal is to be registered.
The first indication information may also be sent by the core network device to the base station, e.g. the core network device may comprise an AMF. The AMF may send first indication information to the base station, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is deregistered or that the terminal is about to deregister, for example, the AMF may carry the first indication information in a deregistration accept message (for example, a new information element (Information Element, IE) carries the first indication information in the deregistration accept message), or the AMF may carry the first indication information in a non-access stratum (Non Access Stratum, NAS) cause of the terminal context release request. After receiving the first information, the base station may determine that the first event occurs or will occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and may further perform report retrieval based on implementation determination whether the terminal is to be registered or the terminal is to be registered.
It should be noted that, in the case where the first network device includes the base station and the first event includes the terminal deregistering, the base station may not immediately release the terminal when determining that the terminal deregisters or that the terminal is about to deregister, but may perform report retrieval based on implementation determination whether or not the terminal is about to deregister or that the terminal is about to deregister. When it is determined that the terminal is to be registered or the terminal is to be registered based on the implementation, report retrieval may be performed, for example, requesting the terminal to send a report to the base station since the terminal is not released; when it is determined based on the implementation that the report retrieval is not performed when the terminal is to be registered or the terminal is to be registered, it may be determined that the first event occurs or is to occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and thus the terminal may be released. Further alternatively, the base station may release the terminal when the base station determines that the report retrieval is completed.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises a core network device, the first event comprises a terminal de-registration.
The first indication information may be sent by the terminal to the core network device, e.g. the terminal may carry the first indication information in a non-access stratum (Non Access Stratum, NAS), the first indication information being used to indicate that the terminal is deregistered or that the terminal is about to deregister.
The first indication information may also be sent to the core network device by the base station or the OAM, for example, the core network device may include an AMF, and the base station or the OAM may send the first indication information to the AMF, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be registered or that the terminal is to be registered.
After the core network device receives the first information, it may determine that the first event occurs or will occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and further may perform report retrieval based on implementation determination whether the terminal is to be registered or the terminal is to be registered.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises OAM, the first event comprises a terminal de-registration.
The first indication information may be sent to the OAM by the terminal, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be registered or that the terminal is to be registered.
The first indication information may also be sent to the OAM by the base station or the core network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be registered or that the terminal is to be registered.
After the OAM receives the first information, it may be determined that the first event occurs or will occur according to first indication information in the first information, and further, whether to perform report retrieval when the terminal is to be registered or when the terminal is to be registered may be determined based on implementation.
In some embodiments, determining from the first information whether to perform report retrieval upon occurrence or about to occur of the first event includes: determining that a first event has occurred or is about to occur; it is determined whether to perform report transmission when a first event occurs or is about to occur based on first information, wherein the first information includes second indication information.
In some embodiments, the first information may include the second indication information, but not the first indication information. In this case, the first network device may determine that the first event occurs or is about to occur based on information other than the first information, and determine whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the second information.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises a base station.
The second indication information may be sent to the base station by the AMF or OAM, for example, the AMF or OAM may carry the second indication information in report retrieval related indication information to be sent to the base station, where the report retrieval related indication information includes, but is not limited to, a configuration of reporting a corresponding measurement, for example, measurement is log minimization of drive test (log MDT), and the configuration may be a log measured configuration.
When the base station determines that the first event is occurring or is about to occur, for example, taking the example that the first event includes a new configuration of the terminal receiving the measurement, the base station may determine that the first event is occurring or is about to occur when the base station transmits the new configuration of the measurement to the terminal. Further, the base station can determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the second indication information among the report retrieval-related indication information.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises a core network device.
The second indication information may be sent by the base station or the OAM to the core network device, e.g., the core network device may include an AMF, to which the base station or the OAM may send the second indication information indicating whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
When the core network device determines that the first event occurred or is about to occur, for example, taking the example that the first event includes a new configuration of the terminal receiving the measurement, the first event may be determined to occur or is about to occur when the core network device determines that the terminal receives the new configuration of the measurement. The core network device may then determine whether to perform report retrieval upon occurrence or about to occur of the first event based on the second indication information.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises OAM.
The second indication information may be sent to the OAM by the base station or the core network device, the second indication information being used to indicate whether or not to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
When the OAM determines that the first event occurs or is about to occur, for example, taking a new configuration in which the first event includes the terminal receiving the measurement as an example, when the OAM determines that the terminal receives the new configuration of the measurement, it may be determined that the first event occurs or is about to occur. The OAM may then determine whether to perform report retrieval upon occurrence or about to occur of the first event based on the second indication information.
In some embodiments, determining from the first information whether to perform report retrieval upon occurrence or about to occur of the first event includes: determining that a first event occurred or is about to occur based on the first information; determining whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or is about to occur according to the first information; wherein the first information includes first indication information and second indication information.
In some embodiments, the first information may include first indication information and second indication information. In this case, the first network device may determine that the first event occurs or will occur based on the first indication information, and determine whether to perform report transmission when the first event occurs or will occur based on the second indication information.
The first indication information may also be sent by a core network device (e.g. the second network device is a core network device) to the base station, e.g. the core network device may comprise an AMF. The AMF may send first indication information to the base station, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is deregistered or that the terminal is about to deregister, for example, the AMF may carry the first indication information in a deregistration accept message (for example, an additional information element carries the first indication information in the deregistration accept message), or the AMF may carry the first indication information in a non-access stratum (NAS) cause of the terminal context release request.
The second indication information may be sent to the base station by an AMF or OAM (e.g., the second network device includes an AMF or OAM), e.g., the AMF or OAM may carry the second indication information in report retrieval related indication information to be sent to the base station, where the report retrieval related indication information includes, but is not limited to, a configuration of reporting the corresponding measurement, e.g., the measurement is log minimization of drive test (log MDT), which may be a log edmeasurementconfiguration.
After receiving the first information, the base station can determine that the first event occurs or is about to occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and then the base station can determine whether to execute report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur according to the second indication information in the report retrieval related indication information.
Taking the example that the first network device comprises a core network device, the first event comprises a terminal de-registration.
The first indication information may be sent by the terminal to the core network device, for example, the terminal may carry the first indication information in the non-access stratum, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be registered or that the terminal is to be registered.
The first indication information may also be sent to the core network device by the base station or the OAM, for example, the core network device may include an AMF, and the base station or the OAM may send the first indication information to the AMF, where the first indication information is used to indicate that the terminal is to be registered or that the terminal is to be registered.
The second indication information may be sent by the base station or the OAM to the core network device, e.g., the core network device may include an AMF, to which the base station or the OAM may send the second indication information indicating whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
After the core network device receives the first information, the core network device may determine that the first event occurs or will occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and further, the core network device may determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or will occur according to the second indication information in the report retrieval related indication information.
The second indication information may be sent to the OAM by the base station or the core network device, the second indication information being used to indicate whether or not to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
After the OAM receives the first information, it may determine that the first event occurs or will occur according to the first indication information in the first information, and further the OAM may determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or will occur according to the second indication information in the report retrieval related indication information.
In some embodiments, the report retrieval method further comprises at least one of:
storing first information;
the first information is sent to the second network device.
In some embodiments, the first network device, upon receiving the first information, may store the first information for subsequent use. For example, the terminal may store the first information in the context of the terminal.
In some embodiments, the first network device may send the first information to the second network device, wherein the first network device and the second network device may be different network devices, e.g. network devices in different networks, according to which the second network device determines whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur, based on the first information.
In some embodiments, transmitting the first information to the second network device includes: and sending the first information to a second network device in a second network to which the terminal is switched from the first network.
For example, during terminal movement, e.g., a terminal handover from a first network to a second network, or a reselection from the first network to the second network, the first network device may send the first information to a second network device in the second network. Accordingly, the second network device may also determine whether to perform report retrieval based on the first information, subsequently when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
In some embodiments, the first network device may first determine whether report retrieval has been completed. For example, it may be determined that report transmission is performed, but the process of the terminal transmitting the report to the first network device is not completed, it may be determined that report retrieval is not completed; for example, it may be determined that report retrieval is performed and that the process of the terminal transmitting the report to the first network device is completed, it may be determined that report retrieval is completed.
For example, in case the report retrieval is not completed, the first network device may send the first information to a second network device in the second network, and the second network device may continue to perform the report retrieval according to the first information, for example, request the terminal to send a part of the report, which has not been sent to the network device, to the second network device, or send the report again to the second network device, so that the terminal may complete the entire sending of the report.
For example, in the case that the report transmission is completed, the first network device may determine that the terminal has completely transmitted the report to the first network device, and may not transmit the first information to the second network device, so as to save communication resources.
For example, in the case where the report transmission is completed, the first network device may determine whether the terminal has completely transmitted the report to the first network device, but the first network device may also transmit first information (e.g., the first information includes second indication information) to the second network device so that the second network device may determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or will occur based on the first information. For example, when the first event occurs or will occur after the terminal is handed over to the second network, the second network device may determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or will occur according to the first information.
In some embodiments, the disclosure also proposes report retrieval methods. The report retrieving method shown in the present embodiment may be performed by the second network device, and for example, the report retrieving method may include the steps of:
receiving first information sent by a terminal or first network equipment;
It is determined from the first information whether to perform report retrieval upon occurrence or about to occur of the first event.
In some embodiments, the terminal or the first network device may send the first information to the second network device, as the first information may be used to determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur. Accordingly, the second network device is also able to determine from the first information whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
For example, the terminal may switch from the first network to the second network or reselect from the first network to the second network during movement, and may send the first information to a second network device in the second network.
For example, during terminal movement, e.g., a terminal handover from a first network to a second network, or a reselection from the first network to the second network, a first network device in the first network may send first information to a second network device in the second network.
In some embodiments, the first information includes at least one of:
first indication information for indicating that a first event occurs or is about to occur;
and second indication information for indicating whether report retrieval is performed when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
For example, the first information may include the first indication information, but not the second indication information. In this case, the second network device may determine that the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the first information, and the second network device may determine based on the implementation as to whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur.
For example, the first information may include the second indication information, but not the first indication information. In this case, the second network device may determine that the first event occurs or is about to occur based on information other than the first information, and determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the second information.
For example, the first information may include first indication information and second indication information. In this case, the second network device may determine that the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the first information, and determine whether to perform report retrieval when the first event occurs or is about to occur based on the second information.
In some embodiments, the first event includes at least one of: the terminal is registered; the terminal moves out of the pre-configured area; the length of time for performing the reported measurements is greater than or equal to the first length of time; the duration of the maintenance report is greater than or equal to the second duration; the terminal receives the new configuration of the measurement. In each case, the processing manner of the second network device is similar to that of the first network device, and reference may be made to the foregoing related embodiments, which are not repeated herein.

For another example, another apparatus is also proposed, which includes a unit or module configured to implement steps performed by a network device (e.g., an access network device, a core network function node, a core network device, etc.) in any of the above methods.
It should be understood that the division of each unit or module in the above apparatus is merely a division of a logic function, and may be fully or partially integrated into one physical entity or may be physically separated when actually implemented. Furthermore, units or modules in the apparatus may be implemented in the form of processor-invoked software: the device comprises, for example, a processor, the processor being connected to a memory, the memory having instructions stored therein, the processor invoking the instructions stored in the memory to perform any of the methods or to perform the functions of the units or modules of the device, wherein the processor is, for example, a general purpose processor, such as a central processing unit (Central Processing Unit, CPU) or microprocessor, and the memory is internal to the device or external to the device. Alternatively, the units or modules in the apparatus may be implemented in the form of hardware circuits, and part or all of the functions of the units or modules may be implemented by designing hardware circuits, which may be understood as one or more processors; for example, in one implementation, the hardware circuit is an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), and the functions of some or all of the units or modules are implemented by designing the logic relationships of elements in the circuit; for another example, in another implementation, the above hardware circuit may be implemented by a programmable logic device (programmable logic device, PLD), for example, a field programmable gate array (Field Programmable Gate Array, FPGA), which may include a large number of logic gates, and the connection relationship between the logic gates is configured by a configuration file, so as to implement the functions of some or all of the above units or modules.
