With the development of computer networks, portable file format (portable document format, PDF) documents are increasingly frequently transmitted and shared, and the need for users to browse PDF documents is also increasing.
Currently, when a user browses a PDF document, the mode of loading the PDF document by a computer comprises picture loading and loading the PDF document based on a mozilla open source scheme.
But the page definition is not high in the picture loading mode, and part of basic functions cannot be used. The mozilla open source scheme needs to load all PDF documents, and the loading speed is low.
Illustratively, PDF documents are a portable file format that is commonly used to save and share documents. PDF documents have the characteristics of cross-platform property, difficult editing and the like, and the format and the structure of the documents can be ensured not to be changed due to different devices and software. The content in the PDF document may include a variety of elements such as text, pictures, tables, multimedia, and the like. With the development of computer networks, PDF documents are increasingly frequently transmitted and shared, and the demand for users to browse PDF documents is also increasing.
Currently, when a user browses a PDF document, the mode of loading the PDF document by a computer comprises picture loading and loading the PDF document based on a mozilla open source scheme. The picture is loaded by converting the content of each page into a picture and then exposing the document in the form of a picture in PDF browser software. The method has the advantages that the format and typesetting of the document can be kept, and PDF documents can be normally displayed in different operating systems and browsers. But has the disadvantage that the displayed effect is not as good as the original PDF document, the sharpness on the high resolution screen may not be high, and some basic document operations such as copying, searching, selecting text, etc. cannot be performed. Loading a PDF document based on a Mozilla open source scheme the Mozilla open source scheme is a special PDF reader that can directly load, parse and render PDF documents in a world wide Web (Web) browser. The method has the advantages that PDF documents can be opened directly in the browser, any plug-in or software is not required to be downloaded, the documents can be quickly loaded without being converted into a picture format, and basic document operations such as searching, selecting, copying, printing and the like can be directly performed in the browser. However, the disadvantage is that the loading speed is slow, and particularly when loading large PDF documents, it takes a while to wait for the document to be displayed completely.
Under the background technology, the present disclosure provides a document browsing method, which can improve the loading speed of a document and the page definition of the document.
The subject of execution of the document browsing method may be a computer or a server, or may be other devices with data processing capabilities, for example. The subject of execution of the method is not limited herein.
In some embodiments, the server may be a single server, or may be a server cluster formed by a plurality of servers. In some implementations, the server cluster may also be a distributed cluster. The present disclosure is not limited to a specific implementation of the server.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a document browsing method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the method may include S101-S102.
S101, responding to the operation of browsing the target document by a user, and sequentially loading and displaying the pictures of the page pre-designated by the target document.
For example, when a user opens a target document for browsing, pictures of pages specified in advance in the target document may be sequentially loaded and displayed. The picture of the pre-designated page is obtained by converting the pre-designated page of the target document into a picture format in advance, and the pre-designated page at least comprises a first page of the target document.
Based on the above-described embodiments, the pre-specified page may be any of several pre-specified pages including the first page of the target document, for example, page 1, page 2, page 3 of the target document may be specified as the pre-specified page, or page 1, page 2, page 5 of the target document may be specified as the pre-specified page. The pre-designated page may also be selected by a preset rule, where the preset rule may be: selecting odd pages of the target document as pre-designated pages, wherein the preset rule can be as follows: the first ten percent of pages of the target document are selected as pre-specified pages, and specific preset rules are not limited herein.
S102, loading and rendering the target document when the user browses the picture of the pre-designated page, and obtaining the rendered document page.
For example, when the user browses the picture of the pre-designated page, the server may load and render the whole target document to obtain all the rendered document pages, where all the rendered document pages are used for the user to browse.
Based on the above-described embodiments, illustratively, taking the example that the target document is a PDF document, the PDF document supports streaming loading because PDF document elements are organized in units of pages. When a user browses a picture of a pre-designated page, loading and rendering the whole target document by adopting a streaming loading method, namely loading data according to the position of the page to be browsed, and firstly pulling a target document header data packet by adopting a streaming mode and analyzing to judge whether the target document is an effective document. When the target document is a valid document, judging whether the target document is a linearization document; and when the target document is a linearization document, continuing to analyze the target document data packet, and acquiring the identification information of the root object. And when the target document is a nonlinear document, pulling a tail data packet of the target document to acquire identification information of the root object. Searching a root object according to the identification information of the root object, searching a page object according to the root object, and pulling a target document according to the page object. The method can only request a section of data corresponding to the page to be browsed in the document to be browsed each time, and analyze and render the acquired data to realize loading while browsing.
For example, assuming that the pre-designated page is the first 3 pages of the target document, the whole target document can be loaded and rendered in a pull stream manner, and when the user browses the page pictures of the first 3 pages and continues browsing, the rendered document page can be displayed from the 4 th page, and the rendered first 3 pages of the document are not repeatedly browsed.
According to the method and the device, when a user browses the target document, pictures of the pre-designated pages of the target document are sequentially loaded and displayed, so that the first opening speed of the document is improved, and then when the user browses the pictures of the pre-designated pages, the target document is loaded and rendered at the same time, and the rendered document pages are obtained. The method can realize browsing and loading at the same time, improves the loading speed of the document, and improves the page definition of the document in a rendering mode.
Fig. 2 is another flow chart of a document browsing method according to an embodiment of the disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the method may include S201-S202.

Illustratively, the user may upload the target document to a database and store it, opening the document when browsing is required.
S202, converting a pre-designated page of the target document into a picture format to obtain a picture of the pre-designated page.
For example, the pre-specified page of the target document may be determined by a preset rule or a pre-specified manner, then the pre-specified page of the target document is converted into a picture format, and then the pictures of the target document and the pre-specified page are saved for subsequent use.
Based on the above-described embodiments, illustratively, when the page specified in advance by the target document is the 1 st and 2 nd pages of the target document, the 1 st and 2 nd pages of the target document may be converted into a picture format and then saved, and when the user browses the target document, the 1 st and 2 nd pages of the target document may be browsed first.
According to the embodiment, the target document is uploaded to the database and stored, and then the page pre-designated by the target document is converted into the picture format, so that the picture of the pre-designated page is obtained. When a user browses a target document, the loading speed of the target document can be improved, and the browsing experience of the user is improved.
In some embodiments, after loading and rendering the target document to obtain the rendered document page, the method further includes: and replacing the loaded and displayed picture of the pre-designated page with the document page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the obtained rendered document page.
For example, after loading and rendering the target document to obtain a rendered document page, the picture of the pre-designated page loaded and displayed before can be deleted, and the picture of the pre-designated page can be replaced by the page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the rendered complete target document. And when the user browses the pre-designated page picture and continues browsing, the rendered document page can be continuously displayed from the document after the pre-designated page picture, and the pre-designated page after the rendering is not repeatedly browsed.
Based on the above embodiment, for example, when the target document has 10 pages and the pre-designated page is the first 3 pages, after loading and rendering the target document to obtain the rendered document page, the picture of the first 3 pages may be deleted and the picture of the first 3 pages may be replaced by the first 3 pages in the rendered target document. The rendered complete target document and the front 3 pages of the target document can be displayed together, and when the user browses the front 3 pages of the images, the rendered pages are displayed from the 4 th page.
The embodiment replaces the loaded and displayed picture of the pre-designated page with the document page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the obtained rendered document pages. The method can enable the user to continue browsing the rendered document after browsing the picture of the pre-designated page, and improves the definition of the document page.
In some embodiments, after loading and rendering the target document to obtain the rendered document page, the method further includes: and fusing and displaying the loaded and displayed picture of the pre-designated page with the document page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the obtained rendered document page.
By way of example, the loaded and displayed picture of the pre-designated page can be compared with the document page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the obtained rendered document page, and then the loaded and displayed picture of the pre-designated page and the obtained document page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the rendered document page are fused and displayed in a manner that the unclear part of the pre-designated page picture is covered by the page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the rendered complete target document.
Based on the above embodiment, for example, when the target document has 10 pages and the pre-designated page is the first 3 pages, after the target document is loaded and rendered to obtain the rendered document page, the first 3 pages of the rendered target document may be compared with the pictures of the first 3 pages, and the first 3 pages of the rendered target document may be fused with the pictures of the first 3 pages of the rendered target document and displayed in such a way that the first 3 pages of the rendered target document cover the unclear portion of the pictures of the first 3 pages of the target document.
According to the method, the device and the system, the loaded and displayed picture of the pre-designated page is fused with the document page corresponding to the pre-designated page in the obtained rendered document page and displayed, so that a user does not have obvious page switching feeling when browsing the target document, and browsing experience of the user is further improved.
