Description

Suture device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical instruments, in particular to a stitching instrument.
Background
Endoscopic surgery allows the surgeon to reach the surgical site through a small opening, with little trauma and quick postoperative recovery. Surgical procedures requiring repair, suturing of tissue may be accomplished using endoscopes. Because of the relatively limited field of view and space in surgery, suture penetration through tissue and retrieval is challenging.
Currently used suture passers have a loop or hook-like structure in the head and are closed after passing the suture therethrough to pull back the suture. However, these instruments may have only a retrieval function and still require suturing in combination with other tools. Thus, there are some suture passers that combine suture retrieval with threading functions, making the head a pointed end that is easy to pass through soft tissue.
Possible problems with these tools include: capturing the positional characteristics of the suture makes the surgeon difficult to manipulate; excessive head volume results in large lesions when traversing soft tissue; soft tissue is easily captured by mistake and difficult to release, resulting in additional damage. Other problems include complex use, long operating time during surgery, high cost, unreasonable shape and length design, etc.
