Background
Peripheral nerve injury is a common clinical condition, mainly due to sensory, motor and nutritional disturbances in the areas innervated by the nerve, for various reasons. An appropriate repair method can be selected according to the peripheral nerve defect degree. When the defect distance of the peripheral nerve is shorter and is generally smaller than 5 mm, the peripheral nerve can be directly repaired by a surgical suturing mode, but for nerve injury with the defect distance being more than 4 times of the diameter of the damaged nerve or the defect length being more than 3 cm, the direct suturing can lead to larger tension at the suture line, so that the surgical effect is not ideal.
In the prior art, the generation of an artificial nerve conduit is a main means for treating peripheral nerve injury for nerve injury with larger defect distance. The artificial nerve conduit is processed by using a material with good biocompatibility according to a histological principle method, and a tubular structure of nerve bridging can be established at the peripheral nerve injury broken end, so that nerve axons can grow along the lumen in an oriented way. At present, for an artificial nerve conduit, a common operation method of a clinician also adopts a traditional fixing method of broken-end needle and line suture to sleeve the broken end of nerve injury with 1 to 2 needles of a port needle threading lead of the artificial nerve conduit. Although the method has high degree of nesting and is not easy to fall off, the method has high requirements for surgeons during operation, and the nerves are required to be sutured after being aligned correctly, if the needles and wires are stressed too much in the pulling process, more damage to the nerves is inevitably caused.
