A long request, i.e. a delayed request, indicates that the second terminal request gets the message requested by the second request message when the partner triggers the event within a relatively long second duration, e.g. the second terminal request gets the message requested by the second request message periodically when the second terminal enters the designated area.

The second terminal can receive the measurement reference signal of the first terminal according to the second secondary link measurement information in the first request message, and obtain a first secondary link measurement result according to the measurement reference signal of the first terminal.
The second terminal sends a second request message (e.g., MO-LR request) including the third sidelink measurement result to the AMF, step 504.
In step 505, the amf receives the second request message, selects an LMF, and sends the second request message to the selected LMF.
In step 506, the lmf receives the second request message, performs a positioning procedure on the Uu interface of the second terminal, and obtains an absolute position of the second terminal.
In step 507, the lmf calculates the location of the first terminal based on the third sidelink measurement result in the second request message and the absolute location of the second terminal.
In step 508, the lmf sends a second response message (e.g., MO-LR response) to the AMF including the location of the first terminal and the absolute location of the second terminal.
In step 509, the amf receives the second response message and sends the second response message to the second terminal.

In the embodiment of the present application, after receiving downlink data from a network side device, the radio frequency unit 1301 may transmit the downlink data to the processor 1310 for processing; in addition, the radio frequency unit 1301 may send uplink data to the network side device. Typically, the radio unit 1301 includes, but is not limited to, an antenna, an amplifier, a transceiver, a coupler, a low noise amplifier, a duplexer, and the like.
Memory 1309 may be used to store software programs or instructions and various data. The memory 1309 may mainly include a first memory area storing programs or instructions and a second memory area storing data, wherein the first memory area may store an operating system, application programs or instructions (such as a sound playing function, an image playing function, etc.) required for at least one function, and the like. candidate terminal positioning capability information;

an absolute position of a second terminal, the second terminal being a positioning assistance device of the first terminal;
first sidelink measurement information;
a first sidelink measurement result for indicating a measurement result between the first terminal and the second terminal;
the location of the first terminal.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first request message comprises at least one of:
The identity of the first terminal;
the identity of the second terminal;
second secondary link measurement information;
a second secondary link measurement;
a request type;
the first request indicates.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the request type comprises at least one of:
a short time request;
long time request.
4. The method of claim 2, wherein the first request indication comprises at least one of:
a first indication for indicating to obtain an absolute position of the second terminal;
a second instruction, configured to instruct to acquire the first sidelink measurement information;
a third instruction, configured to instruct to acquire the first sidelink measurement result;
and fourth indication, which is used for indicating to acquire the position of the first terminal.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein the first response message comprises at least one of:
an absolute position of the second terminal;
the first sidelink measurement information;
the first sidelink measurement;
the location of the first terminal.
6. The method of claim 1, wherein after the first terminal receives the first response message corresponding to the first request message, further comprising:
In the case that the first response message includes an absolute position of the second terminal, the first terminal determines the position of the first terminal according to the absolute position of the second terminal and a third sidelink measurement result.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the third sidelink measurement comprises at least one of:
the first sidelink measurement;
and a second secondary link measurement.
8. The method of claim 1 or 5 or 7, wherein the first sidelink measurement comprises at least one of:
an angle between the second terminal and the first terminal;
distance between the second terminal and the first terminal.
9. The method of claim 1, wherein before the first terminal sends the first request message, further comprising:
the first terminal receives candidate terminal positioning related information;
and the first terminal selects a second terminal according to the candidate terminal positioning related information.
10. The method of claim 9, wherein the candidate terminal positioning related information comprises at least one of:
candidate terminal positioning capability information;
Service network positioning capability information;
and measuring accuracy.
11. A positioning processing method, comprising:
the second terminal receives the first request message;
the second terminal sends a first response message corresponding to the first request message;
wherein the first request message is used for requesting at least one of the following:
an absolute position of a second terminal, the second terminal being a positioning aid for the first terminal;
first sidelink measurement information;
a first sidelink measurement result for indicating a measurement result between the first terminal and the second terminal;
the location of the first terminal.
12. The method of claim 11, wherein the first request message comprises at least one of:
the identity of the first terminal;
the identity of the second terminal;
second secondary link measurement information;
a second secondary link measurement;
a request type;
the first request indicates.
13. The method of claim 11, wherein the first response message comprises at least one of:
an absolute position of the second terminal;
the first sidelink measurement information;
The first sidelink measurement;
the location of the first terminal.
14. The method of claim 12, wherein after the second terminal receives the first request message, further comprising:
the second terminal receives the measurement reference signal of the first terminal according to the second auxiliary link measurement information;
and the second terminal obtains the measurement result of the first sidelink according to the measurement reference signal.

the second terminal sends a second request message;
the second terminal receives a second response message corresponding to the second request message;

The first sidelink measurement;
and a second secondary link measurement.
17. The method of claim 15, wherein the second reply message comprises at least one of:
the position of the first terminal;
an absolute position of the second terminal.
18. The method of claim 15, wherein the location of the first terminal is determined by the network side device based on the absolute location of the second terminal and a third sidelink measurement result after determining the absolute location of the second terminal.
19. The method of claim 15, wherein after the second terminal receives the second response message corresponding to the second request message, further comprising:
and in the case that the second response message comprises the absolute position of the second terminal, the second terminal determines the position of the first terminal according to the absolute position of the second terminal and a third sidelink measurement result.
20. The method of claim 11, wherein prior to the second terminal receiving the first request message, further comprising:

the position of the first terminal;

25. The method according to claim 23, wherein after the network side device receives the second request message, further comprising:
