Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method for providing QoS service, PCF, communication system, and storage medium, wherein the method comprises: the PCF receives terminal information reporting information sent by the SMF, and configures a first corresponding relation between a terminal ID and a QoS service strategy and a second corresponding relation between the terminal ID and first terminal address information; the PCF acquires second terminal address information of the second terminal from the QoS service request, judges whether a target QoS service strategy corresponding to the second terminal is configured according to the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information, acquires the target QoS service strategy based on the first corresponding relation, the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information, and performs corresponding QoS service strategy issuing processing. The method, PCF, communication system and storage medium can provide QoS service for the terminal accessing RG, and enlarge the service range and service depth of fixed mobile convergence.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, PCF, communication system, and storage medium for providing QoS service.
Background
In a communication system, qoS (Quality of Service ) services are required to be provided to terminal devices accessing a network through an RG (Residential Gateway ), but existing networks cannot distinguish terminal traffic information connected to the RG, and cannot perform QoS processing for the terminal devices connected to the RG. Therefore, a technical solution for providing QoS service to a terminal device accessing a network through an RG is required.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method, PCF, communication system, and storage medium for providing QoS service.
According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a method for providing QoS services, comprising: the PCF receives the terminal information report message sent by the SMF; the information carried by the terminal information reporting message comprises: first terminal address information and terminal ID of a first terminal accessed to the home gateway RG; the PCF configures a first corresponding relation between the terminal ID and QoS service strategy and a second corresponding relation between the terminal ID and the first terminal address information, and stores the first corresponding relation and the second corresponding relation; the PCF receives the QoS service request and acquires second terminal address information of a second terminal from the QoS service request; the PCF judges whether a target QoS service strategy corresponding to the second terminal is configured according to the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information; if so, the PCF acquires the target QoS service strategy and performs corresponding QoS service strategy issuing processing based on the first corresponding relation, the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information.
Optionally, the PCF determining, according to the second correspondence and the second terminal address information, whether a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured includes: the PCF judges whether first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information exists or not according to the second corresponding relation; if so, determining that the target QoS service policy is configured.

The method, PCF, communication system and storage medium for providing QoS service, which are disclosed by the invention, identify the terminal connected with RG through PCF, authorize the terminal connected with RG and provide controllable QoS service, can provide QoS service for the terminal connected with RG, expand the service range and service depth of fixed mobile convergence, and improve the use experience of users.

Detailed Description
The present disclosure now will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which exemplary embodiments of the disclosure are shown. The following description of the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present disclosure, not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments in this disclosure, all other embodiments that a person of ordinary skill in the art would obtain without making any inventive effort are within the scope of protection of this disclosure.
The following "first", "second" are used merely to describe differences and have no other special meaning.
Fig. 1 is a flow diagram of one embodiment of a method for providing QoS services according to the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 1:
in step 101, the pcf (policy control function ) receives a terminal information report message sent by the SMF (session management function ). The information carried by the terminal information report message comprises first terminal address information, terminal ID and the like of a first terminal accessed to the RG.
In one embodiment, when a first terminal accesses an RG, the RG sends information about the access terminal to the SMF through an AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function ). The RG can transmit access terminal information including first terminal address information of the first terminal, a terminal ID, and the like to the AMF using various messages. The AMF may transmit the access terminal information to the RG using various messages.
The SMF generates a terminal information report message based on the access terminal information. The terminal information reporting message may be various messages, for example, the terminal information reporting message is an N7 interface message, and the SMF sends the access terminal information reported by the RG to the PCF through the N7 interface.
Step 102, the pcf configures a first correspondence between the terminal ID and the QoS service policy, and a second correspondence between the terminal ID and the first terminal address information, and stores the first correspondence and the second correspondence.
In one embodiment, the first correspondence and the second correspondence may be mapping tables or the like. The QoS service policy of the first terminal may be stored in a storage functional entity in the core network to which the PCF belongs, and the PCF may obtain, from the storage functional entity, the QoS service policy corresponding to the first terminal, where the QoS service policy includes parameter information such as QoS class, minimum or maximum bandwidth, minimum delay, and the like. The QoS service policy of the first terminal may also be stored in a storage function entity in the core network to which the first terminal belongs, and the PCF may obtain the QoS service policy corresponding to the first terminal from this storage function entity.
For example, the PCF sends a query message to a unified data storage function UDR (Unified Data Repository, unified data storage function entity) in the core network to which the first terminal belongs, to obtain a QoS service policy corresponding to the first terminal. The PCF configures a first correspondence based on the terminal ID and the corresponding QoS service policy.
Step 103, the pcf receives the QoS service request, and obtains second terminal address information of the second terminal from the QoS service request.
In one embodiment, the PCF may receive QoS service requests sent by the RG, or the PCF may receive QoS service requests sent by various network elements within other core networks.
The first terminal and the second terminal can be mobile phones, tablet computers and other devices. The terminal ID includes SUPI (Subscriber Permanent Identifier, user permanent identifier), MAC (Media Access Control, medium access control) address, BSSID (Basic Service Set Identify, basic service set identification), and the like. The first terminal address information and the second terminal address information include an IPv4+ port number range, an IPv6 address, a MAC address, and the like.
Step 104, the pcf determines whether a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured according to the second correspondence and the second terminal address information.
Step 105, if yes, the PCF obtains the target QoS service policy and performs the corresponding QoS service policy issuing process based on the first correspondence, the second correspondence and the second terminal address information.
The method for providing QoS service in the above embodiment provides a method for providing QoS service for a terminal accessing an RG, identifies the terminal accessing the RG through PCF, authorizes the terminal accessing the RG and provides controllable QoS service, thereby expanding the service range and service depth of fixed mobile convergence.
In one embodiment, the PCF is triggered to QoS-process the terminal connected to the RG and identify the corresponding terminal through the second terminal address information (e.g., IP address and port number range information of the service flow at the terminal side) of the traffic information in the QoS service request. If the second terminal address information is an IPv6 type address, identifying through the IPv6 address; if the second terminal address information is an IPv4 type address, identifying through IPv4 and a port number range; in the case of ethernet communication, identification is performed by an ethernet address (MAC address).
The PCF performs query processing through the identified terminal ID corresponding to the second terminal, and is used for finding the QoS service strategy supported by the second terminal and authorizing the QoS service. For example, the PCF determines whether there is first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information according to the second correspondence, if so, determines that a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured, and if not, determines that a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is not configured.
After determining that the target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured, the PCF determines first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information according to the second correspondence, and acquires a target terminal ID corresponding to the first terminal address information. And the PCF acquires a target QoS service strategy corresponding to the target terminal ID according to the first corresponding relation.
For example, a first terminal has a terminal ID AB, a first terminal address C, and a QoS service policy D. The second corresponding relation stores the corresponding relation between C and AB, and the first corresponding relation stores the corresponding relation between AB and QoS service strategy D.
If the second terminal address information of a second terminal is also C, the PCF determines that a target QoS service strategy corresponding to the second terminal is configured, acquires the first terminal address information C corresponding to the second terminal address information C, and acquires the target terminal ID as AB. The PCF acquires a target QoS service strategy D corresponding to the target terminal ID (AB) according to the first corresponding relation.
The PCF sends the target QoS service strategy to the target network element, so that the target network element carries out corresponding control processing based on the target QoS service strategy, and then carries out QoS processing; the target network element comprises SMF, AMF, RG and the like.
Fig. 2 is a flow diagram of another embodiment of a method for providing QoS services according to the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2:
in step 201, the rg acquires address and ID information of a connection terminal (first terminal).
For example, the first terminal accesses to the RG through WiFi or the first terminal accesses to the network through the non-3 GPP of the credit card through RG, and the RG comprises FN-RG, 5G-RG and the like.
In step 202, the RG reports terminal information to the SMF of the RG through the AMF of the RG, the terminal information including terminal ID information (e.g., SUPI, MAC address, BSSID, etc.) and address information. The terminal information may be transmitted through PDU session modification information, and the address information includes IPV4 and port number range information, IPV6 address and MAC address information, etc. The SMF, AMF and PCF of the RG are the SMF, AMF and PCF in the same core network as the RG.
In step 203, the SMF of the RG reports the terminal address (e.g., IPv4+ port number range, IPv6 address, ethernet address, etc.) and the terminal ID (e.g., SUPI, MAC address, BSSID, etc.) to the PCF of the RG via the N7 interface.
Step 204, pcf stores the terminal information. The PCF of the RG is triggered to provide QoS service to the terminal (second terminal) connected to the RG in step 205. The trigger may come from the RG side or the external network element side, and the PCF identifies whether the QoS service policy is set for the terminal (second terminal) connected to the RG through the traffic information (including the IP address and port number range information of the service flow of the terminal) in the received QoS service request. For example, the terminal address information in which the PCF stores the traffic information in the QoS service request in advance can be determined by the second correspondence relationship. Terminal identification can be performed by IPv6 address, IPv4 and port range, MAC address.
In step 206, the pcf finds the QoS service policy supported by the terminal through the identified terminal ID (the terminal ID corresponding to the terminal (the second terminal) connected to the RG), and grants QoS service to the terminal connected to the RG according to the policy.
Step 207, the PCF issues PCC policies (including QoS service policies) rules to the SMF and other network elements according to existing procedures.
In step 208, the network element in the network performs QoS control based on the PCC policy. The network elements in the network may use existing methods for QoS control.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the present disclosure provides a PCF30, including a terminal information receiving module 31, a service policy configuration module 32, a service request receiving module 33, a policy configuration judging module 34, a service policy processing module 35, and a service policy issuing module 36.
The terminal information receiving module 31 receives a terminal information reporting message sent by the SMF; the information carried by the terminal information reporting message comprises: first terminal address information and terminal ID of a first terminal accessing the home gateway RG, etc. The service policy configuration module 32 configures a first correspondence between the terminal ID and the QoS service policy, and a second correspondence between the terminal ID and the first terminal address information, and stores the first correspondence and the second correspondence.
The service request receiving module 33 receives the QoS service request, and acquires second terminal address information of the second terminal from the QoS service request. The policy configuration judging module 34 judges whether a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured according to the second correspondence and the second terminal address information. If a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured, the service policy processing module 35 acquires the target QoS service policy based on the first correspondence, the second correspondence, and the second terminal address information. The service policy issuing module 36 performs a corresponding QoS service policy issuing process.
In one embodiment, the service policy configuration module 32 sends a query message to a unified data storage function UDR in the core network to which the first terminal belongs, for obtaining a QoS service policy corresponding to the first terminal. The service request receiving module 33 receives a QoS service request transmitted by the RG. The policy configuration judging module 34 judges whether there is first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information according to the second correspondence. The policy configuration judging module 34 determines that the target QoS service policy is configured if there is first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information.
The service policy processing module 35 determines first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information according to the second correspondence relationship, and acquires a target terminal ID corresponding to the first terminal address information. The service policy processing module 35 obtains the target QoS service policy corresponding to the target terminal ID according to the first correspondence.
The service policy issuing module 36 sends the target QoS service policy to the target network element, so that the target network element performs corresponding control processing based on the target QoS service policy; the target network element comprises SMF, access and mobility management functions AMF and RG, etc.
In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the PCF may include a memory 42, a processor 41, a communication interface 43, and a bus 44. The memory 42 is for storing instructions, the processor 41 is coupled to the memory 42, the processor 41 being configured to perform the method for providing QoS services described above based on the instructions stored by the memory 42.
The memory 42 may be a high-speed RAM memory, a nonvolatile memory (non-volatile memory), or the like, and the memory 42 may be a memory array. The memory 42 may also be partitioned and the blocks may be combined into virtual volumes according to certain rules. The processor 41 may be a central processing unit CPU, or an application specific integrated circuit ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), or one or more integrated circuits configured to implement the methods of the present disclosure for providing QoS services.
In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides a communication system comprising RG, AMF, SMF and a PCF or the like of any of the above embodiments. The communication system may be a 5G communication system or the like.
In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides a computer-readable storage medium storing computer instructions that, when executed by a processor, perform the method of any of the embodiments above.
The method for providing QoS service, PCF, communication system and storage medium in the above embodiments identify the terminal connected to the RG through PCF, authorize the terminal connected to the RG and provide controllable QoS service, which can provide QoS service for the terminal connected to the RG, expand the service range and service depth of fixed mobile convergence, and improve the use experience of the user.

the PCF configures a first corresponding relation between the terminal ID and QoS service strategy and a second corresponding relation between the terminal ID and the first terminal address information, and stores the first corresponding relation and the second corresponding relation;
the PCF receives the QoS service request and acquires second terminal address information of a second terminal from the QoS service request;
the PCF judges whether a target QoS service strategy corresponding to the second terminal is configured according to the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information;
if so, the PCF acquires the target QoS service strategy and performs corresponding QoS service strategy issuing processing based on the first corresponding relation, the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the PCF determining whether a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured based on the second correspondence and the second terminal address information comprises:
the PCF judges whether first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information exists or not according to the second corresponding relation;
if so, determining that the target QoS service policy is configured.
3. The method of claim 1 or 2, the PCF obtaining the target QoS service policy based on the first correspondence, the second correspondence, and the second terminal address information comprising:

when the first terminal accesses the RG, the RG sends information of the access terminal to the SMF through an AMF;
the SMF generates the terminal information reporting message based on the access terminal information;

a policy configuration judging module, configured to judge whether a target QoS service policy corresponding to the second terminal is configured according to the second correspondence and the second terminal address information;
the service policy processing module is used for acquiring the target QoS service policy based on the first corresponding relation, the second corresponding relation and the second terminal address information if the target QoS service policy is the target QoS service policy;
and the service policy issuing module is used for performing corresponding QoS service policy issuing processing.
10. The PCF of claim 9, wherein,
the policy configuration judging module is used for judging whether first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information exists according to the second corresponding relation; if so, determining that the target QoS service policy is configured.
11. The PCF of claim 9 or 10, wherein,
the service policy processing module is configured to determine first terminal address information corresponding to the second terminal address information according to the second correspondence, and obtain a target terminal ID corresponding to the first terminal address information; and acquiring the target QoS service strategy corresponding to the target terminal ID according to the first corresponding relation.
12. The PCF of claim 9, wherein,
the service request receiving module is configured to receive the QoS service request sent by the RG.
13. The PCF of claim 9, wherein,
the service policy configuration module is configured to send a query message to a unified data storage function UDR in a core network to which the first terminal belongs, so as to obtain a QoS service policy corresponding to the first terminal; and configuring the first corresponding relation based on the terminal ID and the corresponding QoS service strategy.
14. The PCF of claim 9, wherein,
the service policy issuing module is configured to send the target QoS service policy to a target network element, so that the target network element performs corresponding control processing based on the target QoS service policy; wherein the target network element comprises: the SMF, the access and mobility management function AMF and the RG.
15. A PCF, comprising:
a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to perform the method of any of claims 1-8 based on instructions stored in the memory.
16. A communication system, comprising:
RG, AMF, SMF and the PCF of any one of claims 9 to 15.
17. A computer readable storage medium storing computer instructions for execution by a processor of the method of any one of claims 1 to 8.
